No no no guys! You've got it all wrong :P - there are plotholes all over the place. I was supposed to be in the bar alone when Stab came in with the shotgun, it was a paper not a box, if you want to say piac you just need to click "Do not parse emoticons" under the Reply button, wandering's supposed to still be in the bathroom crying, etc, etc

But I guess life's a lot better with variations..

It was in the Ty's Funhouse section - if you had visited there in the past week you would have seen the sign up thread and the rules and all.. it wasn't an invitation thing, anyone could play

After completing the second chapter of my novel, I walked in the general direction of the pub. I was off work today, so I figured that another visit to the pub would be in order. As I staggered along, I caught a whiff of garbage, which was actually a very pleasant scent. It had the smell of raw marzipan, with a smidgeon of melted toffee, all mixed with the heavenly smell of gasoline. I entered the bar just as PaleZer0 walked out, which got me wondering AGAIN how a number can be pale. It is a demon that will haunt me forever.

Speaking of demons, I saw the ancient bartender wandering_nintendo_fan. He gave me the "usual" and I started sipping. By and by, wandering informed me that  it was his birthday today, and he was having a celebration at his house at night. I told him that I liked a bicentennial birthday as much as the next person you'd BETTER know where that comes from but I had things to do, people to meet, places to go and the rest. He seemed disappointed, but I didn't think too much of it.

Presently, he left to go to the washroom, presumably to cry. There was no one else in the bar. I put my glass down, and noticed on the tabletop a small, white piece of paper. On the top, I made out the word paranoiasuper. Below it was a flashing red lock. I remembered Gohan once telling me that he had acute paranoia, but other than that, I KnewNothing about it. I cautiously picked it up, alert to any sound. I was about to open it, but then I heard the door crashing open and the unmistakable sound of a cocking shotgun. I hurriedly threw the table back onto the table...

Excerpts from the journal made by IceCold; January 1, YR1

The sky lit up in a flash of lightning, followed by the inevitable rumble of violent thunder overhead. As the landscape came to life again, I noticed in the distance, for a fleeting moment, the flashing silhouette of a running person. Then, as suddenly as it came, it was gone. In the midst of the elongated clap of thunder that ensued, I thought I heard something. I dismissed my unnerving thoughts, and told myself off for letting my fear get the most of me. But then I heard it again! It was a gunshot, sure as the wind that blew in my face. I did some calculations, and I deduced that if 2+2=5, and log(5) is the inverse root of infinity, then something was definitely wrong about this scenario. My curiosity tugged at me and demanded that I investigate. However, my common sense got the better of me, and I ran home as fast as my weary feet could take me. These are troubling times indeed..

This is the first paragraph of my novel, diary. Do you like it?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Nintendo invented what!?!?
« on: January 08, 2006, 06:07:21 PM »
anyways yeah I was thinking what if Nintendo fans comeout, or sony fans whoever, and start arguing over Nintenod inventing the remote control and waiting until Revolution to use the technology. Anybody else fearing this argument will be brought up when Rev gets released and when Sony copy cats the controller?

I was doing OK until I hit this paragraph, but I think I understand now.. more or less at least.

So you are, in effect, making a thread that is designed to incite arguments between Nintendo and Sony fans? Or are you just asking us if we think that there will be a debate as to who invented the NRC concept in the future? I think that's what you meant. But anyways..

Nintendo didn't invent the technology. It was already existing, and they licensed it from Gyration. But they are the first people to apply it to home console gaming in this fashion.. And I think that this, unlike the analogue stick or D-Pad, will forever be universally recognised - you won't see to many PS fans arguing that Sony brought in the tech if they do, in fact, copy it.

I also heard of a sequel, but I don't think it's confirmed..

And yeah, there were GBA Phoenix games, but I think they were Japan-only.
