I think the designers love bullet hell in verticle shooters and decided to input lots of bullet bill hell segments!

Picking up items is fine with me but I agree that the waggle for spin moves and such is obnoxious and caused me to die unnecessarily several times or wasn't precisely right and a move didn't activate like the helicopter spin.

Actually, I thought the shake for spin was okay, but it was a pain for picking up objects, especially since you had to hold another button to do it anyway.

Didn't encounter much problem with picking stuff up lol.

I'm not a fan of shaking the wiimote to pick up items or people.

Agreed.  Waggle is the only thing so far that I can say it outright BAD with this game.  I've had Mario drop items or goof up jumps because I couldn't hold the controller still enough.

Picking up items is fine with me but I agree that the waggle for spin moves and such is obnoxious and caused me to die unnecessarily several times or wasn't precisely right and a move didn't activate like the helicopter spin. On the flip side the motion controls for moving platforms was quite unique and challenging working quite well IMO.

Well I finally beat world 8, and have to say I had a blast. Some of those world 8 levels wer e brutal and sucked away my lives like crazy. The level designers really stepped it up for this game over NSMB: DS, they are much more creative and fun this time around.

Zod is an interesting villain, he is actually a pretty complex villain and in some ways you understand his ambition.

Why is everyone shocked about the abundance of 1ups? It has been like that since SMW, heck SMB3! The Mario games have always been generous with lives but IMO that does not make the games lacking in challenge. Maybe less frustrating in that you don't have to restart a huge chunk of the levels but I don't really find that fun going through everything I've done before.

I really like the addition of Oliver/Green Arrow. And there are some rumblings that Rosembaum may return, which I think is fine if done correctly.

What I like about the difficulty is that usually when I die it isn't because the game was cheap but something I did wrong. Either rushing it or doing a poor jump.

I just started tuning into Supernatural. I really want to start from the beginning now.
I'm glad that the creator had an original vision for the show and is sticking to it.
Tell your story and get out, no filler, no dead end stories, no staying past your welcome.
More shows need to follow that lead, the shows that have a story arch that leads to an eventual story conclusion that is.

Yeah,Smallville was falling into that trap big time, most shows never pull out of a downward spiral like Smallville was on but it seems to be doing it.

Smallville Season 9

Best season since.... since.... well best season in a long freaking time.
last season started off good, but then the budget took a major hit and it really affected the show.
This season has been good ep after good ep especially the last few back to back.

For all those Smallville fans that abandoned the show, now is the time to get caught up and back into it again. Progress has been made and the plot holes and loose-ends are being explained and tied up.
The episode tonite had the Wonder Twins and it was done really really well. I was expecting something so bad it was funny, but this show has just been pure enjoyment like the 1st few season.
Clark might still not know how to fly but you really can think of this season as Superman: Year One (training wheels)

Season 9 (so far) - 9/10

I couldn't agree more, I've been loving Season 9. Season 8 showed promise but was kind of bumpy, probably because the creators of the show left and the news guys were adjusting, but now it looks like the creators leaving was the best thing that could have happened to the show. The writing is quite tight this season and it looks like it has a bit more budget to work with. Got to love the end of the Wonder Twin episode too! I had a huge smile on my face, it was so out of no where.

If you asked me 2 years ago about what I thought of Smallville I would have said one more season, maybe to tie things up but it was dropping it quality fast. Now I want to see a season 10! Especially since there is a chance this may be Supernatural's last season since the creator only wanted to do 4 seasons and this is the end of his 4 year arch.

It should be interesting, I doubt they'll create anything like the Sony wand with a big bulb on the end, that doesn't' seem to be Nintendo's style. Doesn't mean they won't have a similar concept just not as in your face (and ugly).

Well it is quite obvious Reggie is saying that they need to do more to innovate their next console then JUST a HD bump. With Natal and the Ice Cream Cone coming on the market I am interested to see what Nintendo does to stay ahead with their next console when it comes to control.

Still, I missed having a "Giant" world in there.  That was one of my favorites in SMB 3, if not just because I liked the oversized sprites.  I was really hoping we'd see giant enemies beyond Wigglers in World 5, even though there were some giant variations throughout the game.

True, I actually thought world 5 was going to be giant world.

What i like about the Koopa kids in this is that it shows Nintendo actually took time to create boss models instead of making normal enemies big for boss battles like they were in NSMB: DS. There doesn't seem to be as much enemy reuse in this, where NSMB: DS felt like most of the models were ripped from SM64 or something.

Well I'm on World 5 and the game is great. The challenge is balanced for the most part, it isn't ridiculously easy like NSMB: DS or way too hard either. It seems to have a perfect balance, along with lots of charm. The castles are well designed and I love how the game is ALMOST a re imagining of SMB3, to see the return of characters from that game made me smile. My only complaint is the world map, I feel it is too blah for the most part. The one thing I loved about SMB3 was that the world map was a character in its own way with secrets that could be accessed while on it. But with that said NSMB: Wii is a great game, and I love seeing the Koopa Kids back. Much more interesting then Bowser Jr. by a mile!

I forgot to mention a 36 oz. bottle of Heinz Ketchup.  You can never have too much ketchup.  Never.  The worst part was, we were completely out of the stuff!

Also 10/10.

I go through ketchup like crazy with french fries lol.

Jon's rap is tied for the greatest thing to ever air on RFN.

It shares the honor with James' Disaster Day of Crisis skit.

Naw, they tie for second. Infamous Episode 103 is #1 in my book.

Well that knocked you close to negative in my like for Stratos book.
