I suspect Vudu reads only his own posts.
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
Anything you say about the game is immediately nulled because you don't use the wheel.Did you miss some of my recent posts? I do use the wheel, just not exclusively and I didn't start using it until more recently. A few posts up I talked about trying the wheel online for the first time. Earlier I mentioned that I also have a wheel-only license which is 100% complete, except for a three-star rank which I am still working on.
However, when playing single-player (especially in the tougher cups) the lighter karts have a distinct advantage because they favor acceleration over top speed. Rarely will you get to drive at top speeds for long without getting screwed by the CPU. If your kart has poor acceleration you're going to have a hard time catching back up.I think that depends on two things: a person's skill level and the cup in question. With the Flame Runner/Bowser Bike (the statistically best vehicle), I can achieve leads so great that no amount of blue shells will dethrone me. I have much more trouble with the Quacker (fastest accelerator in the game). However, if it's the Mushroom or Shell cup that we're talking about, a high-accel vehicle might be a wise choice as those tracks are so short and easy that I can't really reach a large lead.
Waluigi being large bugged the hell out of me. I don't like driving the large vehicles so I had to switch back to Luigi. What's wrong with the large vehicles? They are statistically the best. I want Birdo to go on an eating binge just so he can become large enough to drive them.
This is exactly why removing hopping was such a travesty in Double Dash. In MK64, I could dash from 8th place, hop, bounce off the head of the big lug in front of me, and land in 1st place. You could get amazing air doing that. I once landed on the top level of the double decker battle stage after boosting and bouncing off of DK.Interesting, I never even thought to try that. I didn't care about the hop missing from Double Dash!! because I had never found a useful application for it. It's annoying that it is still lumped with the powerslide button in MKWii, it should have become its own button. That's one reason why, in some cases, Automatic is better than Manual since you don't hop before powersliding with Automatic.
Sit-ups won't trim dat AZZ. You'd have to practice knee-bashes and back-kicks.Well, it's obvious I don't really exercise since I don't know what exercises do what.
Pop Tarts aren't a proper breakfast until you include Coca-Cola Classic.
Is it really any different than sweet cereals with marshmellows or chocolate flavoured cereal pieces? Reese puffs taste like you're eating a bowl of peanut butter cups... which is exactly why I love them. There is a difference, yes. The dessert flavours of Pop-Tarts are replacing the regular flavours. With cereal, I can still get Cheerios, Shredded Wheat, Cream of Wheat, Malt-o-Meal, and plain oatmeal. Soon I won't be able to get non-frosted, fruit-filled Pop-Tarts. I guess there's still the option of Toaster Strudels and not using the icing, but those need to be toasted and seem sweeter than Pop-Tarts.
I had no idea there was a cookie dough Pop Tart though. Now I want one.Ah dirty floors, I've inadvertently advertised for Pop-Tarts.
To preach to the choir, i'd like to say, WHERE'S MAH DAMN CONSOLE RPGWhat would be the point? Even if a third dimension were added, it'd still be the same game with a different presentation. Plus, portability is one of the draws of Pokémon.
Nobody really drinks beer just for the taste.Nobody drinks cheap beer just for the taste. Some of the more expensive stuff is actually pretty good.
I was thinking of the jumping events which required you flick the remote at exactly the right moment and at the right speed. Those were definitely tricky the first time I tried them. Now that I've figured out how they work though, they are easy.
I decided to be nice to you despite the fact that we disagree about everything. It appears we agree on one thing, that you should still try to be nice to someone you disagree with.

Don't forget, it would be kind of like re-releasing both red/blue and gold/silver because of the inclusion of Kanto. Not really. That was just a lame way to extent the game; none of the original game's events take place, many areas are missing, and none of the Pokémon to be found have levels higher than those of the Elite 4. It's more like a really huge Safari Zone.
Remember, this is inexcusable if this was done by any franchise. But since this is Pokemon this is almost forgiven :p .Ha ha, it's strange, that's so true, and I didn't even realize that until you pointed it out just now. I never hear anyone complain about Pokémon games being too similar to their predecessors, but people go to town complaining about Mario Galaxy, Animal Crossing, etc. If these remakes do surface, somehow I doubt we'll hear anyone complain about how they aren't Nintendo being "loyal" to their fanbase. Pokémon was designed to be exploitative, which makes it acceptable. It would be "disloyal" of Nintendo if they actually tried to revolutionize the series.
I was thinking that Netflix could be a good partner, but it seems they are interested on doing their own thing. How about BlockBuster? Their business has suffered as a result of Netflix's popularity and this might be a way for them to retaliate.
I am concerned, however, that the review says nothing about the supposed balance board support. I think it WAS a rumor that ran amock. If reviewers weren't even aware that Excitebots has online play, we can't be so sure they aren't overlooking the Balance Board support in this game.
As for the controls, the problem was that some required precise timing and mastery. The only one I can think of like that is archery, possibly skeet. The track and field events are ridiculously easy.
Everybody deserves cookies!Only those who remove their shoes upon entry.
I've never played a pokemon game, and I've refused to do so until Nintendo turns it into what it appears it was meant to be. A MMORPG.It was meant to be a simplified RPG. I don't think it would work very well as an MMORPG because that would take away much of its simplicity and charm.
I loved those commercials solely for the feelings of classic retro rivalry it stirred within me. I remember those days well.Such commercials definitely helped sell the first game, but said feelings needs to exist in the game this time around.
I hope they do a new wave of those commercials.
I could see a situation where collectors can purchase content via DD and pay for the disc+box in addition to be mailed to them for an extra fee, and all still cheaper than what a normal retail copy would cost, heh. That's not a bad idea, but I doubt it would be less than current retail games if for no other reason than companies would figure that if people were set on getting a physical copy, they'd pay a premium price for it.
