Can't find a review for this anywhere yet...

Character reveals, online play, level editor...these are the updates that matter. Everything else is just sundries.

Awesome picture.

I have to go with my theory that there's a new Wii F-zero in the works and they'll be announcing it at some point soon, along with a new protagonist for the F-zero franchise who will replace Falcon.

I'd like to be wrong on this, but every week that goes by with no Cappy, it makes more and more sense.

I blew through it to unlock the secret characters and never touched it again.

Also, I hope we can unlock secret characters via much gameplay as was the case in Melee. I might just pick up and jump online the minute I get the game.

Yeah, that brought me back to my "Ghouls n' Ghosts" days.

It doesn't bother me now, but if I was a kid, that would have seriously messed with me.

Time to take this thread in a completely different direction...

Although I still expect to see them as an AT, I had a great idea for the dynamics of a playable Ouendan/EBA.

Instead of having three characters who all perform the same move (like the Ice Climbers), imagine that you have three characters standing shoulder to shoulder and when a move is performed, they all perform a different action which still falls within the context of the move.

For example, When you Up smash, the left guy swings his fist up at an angle from the left, the middle guy thrusts his fists straight up, and the right guy swings his fist up from the right. The characters would work together to cover as much area as possible with each move, such as a down smash causing the left and right guys to leg sweep their respective sides while the center guy attacks the ground immediately below him.

Thus, as the characters are KOed individually, the area covered by the moveset would diminish (with the center character being the key character). I imagine they'd still jump and move in perfect sync, but they'd perform different functions in each move.

Sakurai is lulling us into a state of sleepiness so when the real updates start coming, it'll explode the internet into a frenzy of hype once again.

I dunno.

I think a whiny, irritating spartan would probably turn a lot of players off from the franchise.

Just imagine Woody Allen's voice coming out of a spartan and you have the right idea.

Even with waggling, I never escaped the quicksand, either.

I'm pretty sure that was a planet. Sunlight creeps around the edge of it, meaning that it's solid, whatever it was.

I've watched one of the Harry Potter movies and can safely say that the movie isn't complete without the MST3K crew on the bottom of the screen lambasting the hell out of it.

Some people have speculated that Master Chief = the protagonist of Marathon, a Mac-only series which was Bungie's greatest legacy long before Halo arrived.

In the start of Marathon, the player arrives aboard the derelict colony ship Marathon and proceeds to start clearing the alien invaders of the ship out of it. Both MC and the Marathon hero are Mark IV-VI cyborgs and the player arrived in an escape pod which he was hibernating in.

In the end of Halo 3's video, though, we see MC's ship heading toward a planet, which seems to indicate that MC may have further adventures yet.

QFT

The number one thing which I knew to have pulled away a number of gamers from the GC to the Xbox was the online play.

SSBB online will bring back quite a few nonbelievers.

As for the topic, this has been needed for a while now.

The paradise mode has you shooting bikini-clad women with a dolphin squirt gun.

I bought the game for $14 via gamefly since I know that I could entertain any group of male friends with this, especially since you can play it four player.

No one else has this? Thank you, gamefly.

It's the type of game that I might buy at their keep it price just because I can drop this game in front of anyone and they would love it for Paradise mode alone. It's too hilarious not to laugh at.

They said they took it out? Odd, they left the storybook and all its inferences in, like when the girl looked at her mother who looked EXACTLY like Rosalina.

I admit I know about that through hearsay, but the storybook itself makes it pretty obvious.

I get that a bit, too.

And frankly, if Ubisoft hasn't approached DC Comics about the Batman license, they should.

Like I said, I basically threw the whole weekend at it.

And on the subject of massive spoilers...

Did anyone pick up on the fact that Rosalina is Peach's mother? The Mario Galaxy artbook confirms it, but the hints are pretty solid throughout the game, as well as the fact that Peach's letter at the beginning of the game said, "I have something to show you" and she was holding a Lumas on the balcony when Mario arrived.

FINALLY!

GC control setup allows you to turn the tap up to jump OFF.

Good to know...
