I left out Supergirl because even though it is in the same universe it is not on the same channel and might have difficulties with crossing over.

I would think it would be wise to do my plan than Krypton or even Teen Titans (Since we would have invested interests and origin stories already told.)

Honestly, if I was the CW I would be looking to make each of these series a 3-4 season series, building up the characters to a Justice Society...using the same actors.

I think Arrow can have one more season with Amanda Waller as the "big bad"  But I think that it would be great if that season ended with Amanda Waller "winning" and forcing the formation of the Justice Society.

By then you could have:  The Atom, The Flash, Firestorm, The Arrow, John Stewart Green Arrow.  Make Ollie the "Batman like" leader and you have a good show.  Star Labs would become the base of operations and you join the two supporting casts as a team.

**BOOM**

Wow.  Guys I found out my bombs act more like my round 3D bombs.  Interesting.

The manual says I get "special moves" by tilting and attacking.

Let's see...

Detonator Bomb?  Awesome.
Slime Bomb?  Wow my old favorite.
Power Kick and Power Punch...nice

1204
So umm...there isn't really any mazes or walls to blow up in this battle.  So huh...strange.

I'm kinda new to this Smash game...so what are the rules?

I guess I can just set my bombs anywhere?  OK?  Yeah, I will do that.

*Places bomb*

Umm, guys, I would you  know...not touch this...It'll probably explode in 3 seconds.

(Runs away.)

1205
SMASH: (Vote) Hypotheliciously

Bomberman enters the battle.  Sees that there are obvious teams...but is color blind after witnessing so many explosions.

Since we have no idea where to start, and my time zone is kinda funky, I will just get this party started.  This is completely random...so I will check back for more information if it becomes available.

PS:  Do will we know if items are given, and to whom?

1206
Item ideas:

Assist Trophy:  Use the assist trophy and a random active players vote is changed to your vote.  "Assisting You"
Gooey Bomb:  Bomb has a 3 Day fuse, and players tag someone with it.  By PMing the host.  The tagged player then can tag someone else in a PM to the host until BOMB at the end of the 3rd day.
Poison Mushroom:  If you get a poison mushroom item your vote for that day does not count.  However, you can still vote but it won't count in the tally.
Starman:  Immune to all items, vote out, and night actions
Heart Container:  Special item in which you can protect yourself or another player from a night action.
Hammer:  Your vote counts twice
Metal Box:  Minus 2 votes against you during the tally.  Metal box ends before night actions so you can be attacked.
Rally X Flag:  You make a public claim about a person's identity and use the Rally X Flag.  If you are right about the claim...the next day whether you live or die that role will be exposed.
Smash Ball:  If the person you voted for is voted out.  Then you can pick one other player to be voted out.
Freezie:  Cancels one players vote...and if that player used an item will cancel that item too.  Does not stop night actions.

Pokeballs will do a random effect like one of the items above...even Smash Ball

These items are pretty powerful, so I would make the items only show up once per game...and players can pick which day to use them.  If the player is killed with an item not using it...that item is lost from the game.

I disagree Ceric.  Introducing Meta-humans doesn't ruin the dynamic.  The problem is that the Arrow series wants to be like the Nolan Batman films, and have everything be plausible.  I say Flash has shown that you can have both.

The Flash embraces its comic heritage...and I think Arrow would do well to incorporate some of that.  For instance.  I was OK with the first Black Canary having a sonic device, because there were two Black Canaries in the comic and one did not have a meta power.  But I want Black Canary to have her true Canary call.

You can do a careful balance between the two.  You just obviously need to be careful which meta humans you have Green Arrow fighting...but it would be nice to see more trick Arrows as well.  Especially, when the Arrow is trying a no kill policy.  Tazer or Electric Arrows, Gas Arrows, and such wouldn't be a bad start.  Perhaps Ollie can get his money or research facility back if the Atom teams up with him.

I enjoy popcorn, and I agree that the show is less believable.  I remember watching season 2 and thinking...it is definitely comic book melodrama, but I didn't believe the characters made stupid decisions...they seemed pretty smart...and that included all the villains and heroes.  With only one or two things that were silly.

But, season 3 does have many questionable decisions.  I would have liked Ollie been more honest with Ra's...it would have been more interesting.

Arrow has failed this season.

If I wasn't so invested, I would just put aside Arrow S3 till it's over and only watch The Flash for now.

Thea's training. Oliver's survival and recovery, his fight with Ra's, the fact that Chief Lance will call out Roy with the quickness, but maintain "plausible deniability" with Oliver/Arrow, Diggle ops to stay at base of operations and let Laurel of all people go out on patrol in his place during Ollie's absence.... it's all so stupid.

Not to mention Ollie returning on Live TV, yet not wanting Ra's to find out he is alive.... but wanting time to train with Merlyn so that he can defeat Ra's....
if Merlyn was that good, why wouldn't he just challenge Ra's himself? oh yeah, he's smart enough to send dumbass Ollie in his place... let him make it his fight.

Season 3 is suffering from the Glau effect, but I hope it recovers soon, because this season so far has been garbage. easily trounced by the likes of Agents of SHIELD, The Flash and Gotham (in that order). That is a mighty fall from grace at the top of the lot. But there was a lot less competition last season (s2 was excellent up until the last 3 eps.)

I will agree they  have made some missteps.  However, I will say you are being little hard on the show.

1)  I don't think Ollie was on national TV.  The Glades had been cleared of police I think it was probably cleared of media as well.  He was rallying the people.  However, the other side is that Ollie could just assume the League would already find out about him...after all training to be a master only takes like less than a year anyway...look at Thea.

(Thea is the biggest misstep I see this season.  I know why they are doing it...but it just looks stupid.)

2)Laurel is stubborn and was going to go out there anyway.  Should Diggle have gone instead or with the team...but perhaps Laurel didn't know how to properly use the system to help on the backend.  At any rate they needed to get her into the action because it is destiny to get her in the action.  Brick was a minor enough villain to do it with.

(What I don't truly understand is the Dark Archers motives.  I know he lies all the time and can't be trusted, and I actually liked his tragic backstory, however, the whole idea of forcing the Arrow to go after Raj Al Ghul was insanely stupid.  Now Thea, him, and Ollie are in the cross hairs...but really it goes back to just him.)

But my biggest complaint I have is Ollie should have come back to life from the Lazurus Pit.  I know they like to keep the Supernatural and Super Hero stuff out of Arrow, but if you bring a character like Raj Al Ghul, you should bring all of him.  How cool would it have been to just jump a couple of months.  Have Black Canary and Arsenal with the Atom protecting the city...and Ollie comes back crazy from the Pit and a villain.  Only to find out through flashbacks that his mind isn't entirely gone, but made a deal with Raj Al Ghul after his resurrection...to kill the Dark Arrow.

His team goes against him instead of agreeing, and he is pulled back into the good side.  That would have been an epic season 3.

I really wish this was Animated and on the caliber of The Legend of Korra.  I just don't want live action.  Zelda is about the world, more than Link...and I don't see a live action TV budget giving us the quality monsters, and fantasy world I expect of out Zelda.

You know, I guess I just don't care.  I watch to enjoy the show.  I don't care if I notice the stunt doubles or not.  I will say the season isn't as strong as season 2, but it is fun.  They are trying to build the world and some of the things are working, and some of it not so much.  Thea being able to fight so quickly isn't working for me.  I really hate how television makes it seem easy to become a master anything.  Even if she studied night and day for an entire year she would not be that good.

That said, you obviously have to accelerate training and just accept that, so you can move forward with the story.  Though, the funny thing is, they are showing what I am saying with Laurel because she keeps getting her butt handed to her.  I just hope they actually give her the real "meta-human" Canary Cry eventually, and not just some toy device.  I don't care how they give it to her, but Meta-humans exist in that universe, and I want my Black Canary to be accurate.

Gotham doesn't work, because they are trying too hard.  And they choose a horrible time period...before Batman existed.

I would have made Gotham start Year 0.  Meaning first season would be just the Gotham police and you can have all the Batman villains you want alive and normal.  However, deal with the decent of Gotham from Mob rule into crazy rule.  Second Season...bring Batman into the story...however make it only as Cameos.  This is still Batman as a myth, and nobody knows about him.  Make the story about the police in a city that has gone crazy.

It sounds like the same story, but focusing on younger villains makes the story strange.

Personally, I think you should include Link.  If Nintendo uses some talented story writers to flesh out all the characters, they could finally give Link that personality needed to perhaps make a video game which Link has a voice and is a true character.

1213
In like Flynn.  I will be Bomber Man.  Because, he should have been in the last Smash Bros Game, and Nintendo should buy the rights to that franchise as it is amazing and classic and awesome.

Yes...I think having more words would be better.  And perhaps allow players to write up to 3 words if they want to get risky and eliminate words from the list.  That way there is more strategy.

We play a reading game in my English classes where you have sentences and you can read 1, 2, or 3 words in the sentence but if you read the last word you are out.  The sentences are long and the game isn't really fair, but there is strategy in how many words your read.

This would be similar if there are 10 players and 20 words.  Imagine Player 1 might want to say 5 words just to get rid of them while there is less of a risk.  You could also have other special words like:

Skip a Player, Reverse Order, Go again, and so on.

Geist was such a good idea that was so poorly implemented.  It was a game you wanted to succeed, but as you played it…you just felt all the potential die.

I am going to give it a chance.  It might be great as an epilogue story ending phase two.  Also it just sounds like a silly fun story...lets see what happens...because it is a hard sell, but it is possible to make a good movie still.

I love the character of Doctor Who, but I just always feel let down by the writing and style of the show.  It's like it tries to be Science Fiction, but it is more Adventure/horror...

That's how Dr. Who is.  That's not new to the new tenure.  I'm liking this season more than the others because they were very stuck in the Cyberman/Dalek paradigm.  While this one is moving to the more traditional Dr.Who.  Which I enjoy.  I wouldn't mind if they brought back 3 episode story arcs.

Though I do not like how they have done the last few companions.  Making them more love interests than companion really.

They really need to get away from Earth though.

I would love an idea just being explored to the fullest, because right now I feel like they don't explore it enough.

If you have a 12 episode season that would allow you to do 3 or 4 big stories that expand and grow and have real consequences and once a story is finished move to another story.  Basically being able to tell a movie like story instead of a TV series like story.

And yes get away from Earth more...or at least do more future or historical Earth.  All of Time and Space...and we are stuck on Earth...boring.

I dunno RTD had some long story arc ideas as well.  I like what he did with the Master better.  The Face a Bo and Jack, and when he brought characters back they felt like they had been existing and living for awhile and naturally came back.

But I guess I wasn't down for the convoluted storytelling…nothing wrong with it.  But when you build up an event where you think the person is dead and only to find out none of it happened…kinda is a sucker punch…and not a good. one.

I just watched the Doctor Who special where he meets his self from the Time War and David Tennent and they do something really ambitious even for this series. I also watched the Christmas special right after but so Hulu doesn't have the current seasons so I haven't gotten any more caught up than that. The special was pretty good the Christmas episode was alright but not that great, average as far as Christmas specials go.

I love the character of Doctor Who, but I just always feel let down by the writing and style of the show.  It's like it tries to be Science Fiction, but it is more Adventure/horror...the jumps in logic and twists are sometimes compelling, but usually have one element that ruins it for me.

I think I liked Davies direction better than Moffat's.  Moffat's a good storyteller sometimes, and he can play with twisting a theme but, actually, I feel his seasons always end lackluster with nothing special really done.

Adrock:  Actually Blood Bending was thought to be a myth...but it was always wrong.  I would put it as a lost "dark art" that water benders knew about however, nobody could do except on full moons, and only the most powerful and talented of benders.  Blood Bending would probably rank up there with Lava bending extremely rare.

It was illegal probably because when people were creating laws Katara reminded people it was a very real power.

As for Book 3.  I do not feel it has that much filler.  Instead I feel like that needed to spend the time showing that Zuko can be part of the team and that the team slowly began to trust him...it was a natural process and it worked great.

My personal opinion is this order:

Book 2: Earth best season.
Book 3:  Fire and Book 1: Air
Book 3: Change
Book 2: Spirits
Book 4: Balance
Book 1: Water

I think book 1 is interesting but weak.  The fire nation seems overly powerful and all the other nations look and feel weak.  The battle on the Northern Water Tribe was pretty silly in its one-sided nature.  And honestly, Water should have the advantage over fire in almost every aspect of that battle.

Other than book 1 I think the original series is head and shoulders better than Korra.  However, Korra did some really cool things.  Spirits may be one of my least favorite seasons, but at least it expanded the Avatar mythos and world with the origin of the first Avatar.  However, I think Korra had the 2 best villains of the entire show with  The Red Lotus/Zaheer and  Amon.  I personally don't see how Amon isn't interesting.  First you have a villain that can take away your bending which the show uses quite effectively as an analog for rape.  But, also his personal manipulation of a cause against bending (which actually had some good points and good fears) was fun.

To me Korra showed the world getting more complicated, and that there was no clear cut villains just because they are "EVIL" anymore.  And that politics pull you towards decisions and actions you don't agree with.  I loved that aspect of the show.  Expectations vs. Realities.  Korra is a more mature and focused show in that regard.

1222
Ultimately I like your discussion of all the seasons.  I think I disagree with some of what you said.  I personally think the first season of Korra is very strong…and is easily the second best season of Korra, and probably the 3rd best season of the series.  Books 2 and 3 of The Last Airbender were better.  The best season of Korra is easily book 3.  I feel like that story really opened up the world and created opened up the possibilities of bending more.

I have mixed feelings about the advanced bending techniques.  I think in Korra bending got too powerful with some of the advanced abilities…but it still was fun to watch.

Your thoughts on fire and lightning bending I had the same ideas.  I thought lightning isn't the same as fire and was a silly advanced ability.  However, when it is explained that bending fire is bending the energy in the air and within you…which is why Fire benders could "create" their element while Earth and Water elements couldn't.  Made sense.  Lightning is a form of energy and so is fire, so I learned to accept that.

As for blood bending it is not something that could be done by any bender…but a special bender that learned the skill.  It is extremely rare and shocking.  Though water had the many advanced skills.  Healing, Ice, Water.  And you mentioned pulling the water out of the air…and yes highly skilled and advanced water benders could do that at full strength.

Sony mad at Netflix for allowing their paying "pirating" users to access content across international borders....
http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2014/12/sony-pictures-mad-at-netflixs-failure-to-block-overseas-vpn-users/

I would do it if I could get it to work for free. I don't really equate it to piracy, as I paid for access to Netflix. Seems more like an immoral loophole than an illegal act to me.

This really bothers me.  I live in South Korea…and technically I shouldn't be using iTunes or anything to access media not released in South Korea.  But, I try to buy all my media I watch.  Very rarely do I Bit Torrent, and I have watched some shows streaming online that I question the legality, but I almost always buy my shows off of iTunes.  But It if Sony or anyone else starts to limit IP location downloads then I am going to be upset.  Media needs to understand the era they are living in and change.  Universal release dates.  Let a single service or such be used world wide.  Don't limit us by borders, because honestly some people travel or live abroad.

I like the idea of this game.  It was great mix game.

However, I like the idea of a true crossover game like Super Mario Crossover.

And I agree that Nintendo should make that game.  There are several Nintendo games alone that could be given the Crossover treatment...and it could be a complete series of games.

Super Mario Bros Starring:  Mario, Luigi, Peach, Link, Samus, Kirby
The Legend of Zelda 2 Starring:  Link, Mario, Peach, Luigi, Samus

I dunno if I would design the game the same way the original programmer did.  It works, but I would rather try to change it up more.
