And just when I was just starting to like Oblivion too.

I'd prefer him to mar_velmov_ie_fan_horribleuser_name_seventhof_august_2003_thatda_te_wasa_thursd_ay anyhow.

I basically only have 3 games, but I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Super Mario 3D World: The creativity in this game is unparalleled and the level design is absolutely fantastic. Loads of variations too, but not really any big open levels to explore, which is a shame. Not quite on par with the Galaxy games, but really what is?

Mario Kart 8: It's the best Mario Kart yet. Character selection is lacking a bit, I mean what's with no Diddy and Birdo? The new tracks are fantastic, the retro ones are good, but I think all of the best ones have been taken by now. Last, but not least, the game is gorgeous. Mario Karts have always looked pretty horrible, but not this one. It's brimming with character and charm.

I've also quite liked playing a lot Beerio Kart with my housemates. I can't believe I only just discovered this game!

Wind Waker HD: What can I say, it's my favourite Zelda game in glorious HD. Probably the last Zelda that needed a HD remake, because the original is still absolutely gorgeous. Still I bought it because it's just another chance to play through this masterpiece.

TalkBack / Re: A Long Look at the Mario Kart 8 Update and DLC
« on: August 28, 2014, 09:53:43 AM »
The best part of the update is that the "View Highlight Reel" option is now no longer the first option after finishing a race, "Next Race" is. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally picked the wrong option.

Funny thing is the first time I played after the update I instinctively picked the second option, which is now the highlight reel.

Pretty close. But I may have fudged my age back on my profile when I first registered, to make me seem more mature.

Here we go...

I have a sick, sick mind.  So I commonly think of awful things and (typically) make people choose between one of two cases or such.

Today, I think I came up with the worst idea ever.
WARNING!!!

What follows is a very sicking and depraved post.  Do not read it.  Period.  Just take my word that it is the worst thing that can be posted without getting me banned.  In fact, there's still a chance that something like this could get me banned, so I'm going to again ask all mods not to read the following post.  Mind you, the following post is 100% not meant to be taken seriously (except for the part about y'all donating to St. Jude's - you should do that), but seriously, it's really, really sick.  Really, don't read it.

Taking pictures of, say, 8 year old girls and boys, in the nude, is illegal - child pornography.

Now, if the 8 year olds are dead, they're still 8 years old - and nude photos of them would still be illegal.

But, let's say we can have these corpses perfectly preserved for 10 years - and presto, they're over 18 - and thus it would be legal to take nude photos of the bodies.

The idea is to create a website of 100% legal child-like porn.  All of the proceeds will go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (Probably the absolute best charitiable cause ever and one that I do seriously donate to and would highly reccomend everyone else doing the same)

I was also considering attaching stings to the bodies to create "sex" videos.  Then, I considered letting live people have sex with the corpses for video.  Finally, I decided on both.

Jesus, Bob.

But I guess what we can take from this is your 'legal' photos should be ready in a couple years?

Here's a little activity for everyone.

Head to Google images (or whatever your chosen image search engine may be) and type in your name followed by "the hedgehog".

Post your favourite.

If it already has a profile, post that too. If it doesn't how about making one up?

First up from me is "Daniel the Hedgehog"

I like this one because he's a cool guy, just like me!  :cool;

One more post on this, because I can't let BnM's train wreck of a post be the last word on it.

Dude, you literally have no idea what it's like in Floyd's head. It would clearly be embarrassing for him, so I doubt he's "just rich and don't give a ****". That's ignorant and moronic. There's a massive chance he's got a learning disability. Something like a severe case of dyslexia would easily explain it, not to mention how much that would be compounded by the brain damage he would have received after 30 years of boxing at an elite level. That's not just a problem you can throw millions of dollars at and be done with it.

The fact that he's even responded defensively by saying "LOOK HOW RICH I AM" shows that's a sore subject and something he's ashamed of.

I guess at this point it doesn't really matter for him, but between him and 50, they are both worth around the same amount of money $280M/$270M

So even if he "still wins", it's still embarrassing.

Don't know where you're getting your information from, but 50 cent is worth about about half of Floyd with $140M, and the majority of that was from his sale of his shares in Vitamin Water.

And **** off, it's far from embarrassing, if anything it's commendable. Coming from an upbringing like his, I'm not surprised literacy was not at the forefront. I'm a qualified teacher and when I was studying we obviously learnt about literacy rates and literacy around the world. The stats for the US are pretty damning. It's something like 1 in for 5 children grow up without learning how to read and the US is one of the only developed countries in the world where the current generation is less educated than the previous one. Now that's embarrassing.

It suffered the same fate as the Australian-only forum. Thems were the days.

Yeah but he still wins.

this.

What would rather, the ability to read or $72 million?

Man, a cacophony of reasons got in the way of me participating in this game, my laptop shitting itself for instance. It sucks it looked like a fun one!

Also cheers for the avatar apdude!

If you have to ask, it's racist.

145
Yeah, I will be. It's about time I bought one and NWR's horrible review aside Mario Kart seems to be the ****. Plus I have a household of people wanting to play it too, so I'm almost getting peer-pressured into it.

Personally I'm mainly getting a Wii U for Pikmin 3 and Super Mario 3D World, but this 2-for-1 Mario Kart thing is a pretty good incentive to buy one now.

Ouch...an inflatable for a month? That's rough man. Where'd you move to? I assume it was for a job?

Yeah I ordered the bed, then told me it'd be a month wait. Luckily it was a ridiculously comfy mattress at an outrageous price haha.

Moved from Adelaide to Melbourne. Finally people might have heard of the city I live in! Sorta moved for work, I'm back at Uni finishing of my honours and then my masters. Also I have a lady friend who I've been seeing for a while living in Melbourne, so it's nice not having to do the long distance thing anymore.

Fresh off the boat?

I'm psyched to finally be getting a bed at my new place. I've moved cities and have been sleeping on an inflatable mattress for the last month. It'll be nice to have a nice bed again! Also pretty hyped to christen the bed tonight as well.  8)

Sorta mildly racist. Not even remotely funny.

That would be a lot of fun, but I'm pretty sure all the members are fairly spread out over here. For instance there's about 3.5 thousand km's between RAB and I.

Maybe we could just all join in via the Interwebs from wherever we happen to be.
