I'm not sure about Monkey Island, but I'm pretty sure Grim Fandango will be their. As for your favorite game being too low...come on, quit complaining. It's a honor to be on that list at all. Narrowing all the best games ever to just 100 is a hard task, and someone will be disappointed. But if the game is on the list it should be enough. Don't complain about how something should have been 10 higher or something...And besides, there are lots of games to go, so don't say something is too low yet.

First of all, Retro is a Nintendo company. Plus, this was their first game. They didn't have any prior games to draw from. So they simply turned to the other Metroid games. Capcom may try to put their own "touch" in and ruin it. And Metroid isn't anywhere near as treasured as Zelda. Sure, the fans may treasure it, but Zelda is far more profitable than Metroid. Next, Metroid was always FAR more popular in America than Japan, so it made sense to give it an American developer...

Maybe this is because of space issues, but I noticed you guys hardly have any movies for games, but plenty of pics. Could it be possible to upload at least the trailer for each (or at least most) of the games, so people will at least have something to watch...

I agree with Zelda, and to some extent Doom and Tetris (though I would have place them a little lower), but the 3D GTA's? Madden? Entertainment Weekly? Who called them a gaming authority? I have yet to see the rest of the list...but I can tell you the 3D GTA's don't deserve to be in the top ten. I have GTA3 on my PC and I love it, and play it a lot, and I beat it 2 times, but it doesn't deserve top 5...I'd put it somewhere in the top 100 though....

If you go to IGN's Top 100 page you'll se they are doing the top 100 games of all time. Every day they are adding ten more games. So far they have 100 through 51...

What do you think of the list? What do you think will make the top ten?

Also, remember this is more like a hundred "greatest" games of all time not hundred "most fun" games of all time. The difference is that "greatest" sort of incorporates several issues, as in the impact the game had, how revolutionary it was, etc, as well as how fun it was...
So just cause you think Advance Wars is better than Resident Evil 2 you should say "how dare they put RE2 a slot higher than Advance Wars". They were both fun, yes, but RE2 was more revolutionary and had much more of an impact. Advance Wars is, yes, probably a lot more fun to most people, but it's not to much different from the other Wars games and didn't induce a whole genre to appear...

Well, 2D games are easy to make and stuff...But as for a 3D zelda, EAD is simply more talented, especially in the level design and game design area, than Capcom. Miyamoto "overseeing" a project isn't the same as him actually directing. He oversaw Metroid Prime by giving suggestions here and there and providing advice, but Retro actually did all the programming as well as level and game design. But for something that Shiggy actually directed, like Ocarina of Time, he is in charge of everything. He runs the show, tells people what to do, and is the vision behind the game...

As for not being able to find good images under 20k...just use photoshop to resize the image to whatever you want, (you should sharpen at least ones if you go from really big to really small), then when you are saving there is a little quality slider, you can lower the quality of the pic (it's not really to big of a difference for small pics) for smaller file sizes...
If you don't have photoshop you can download Irfanview for free. You can do basic things like resize images, as well as sharpen and do other filters like embossing images or "buttonizing" them by giving them those edges and other stuff...

Dang, am I the only person you doesn't use bad words around here? I don't personally care about them and don't find them offensive (they are more laughable if you ask me), it's just I didn't grow up using them and I don't see the point...I never even say "damn" or "hell" (as in what the hell)....

Actually, I disagree. I find that people who use cuss words are unimaginative and immature, unable to use more sophisticated and impressive ways of expression their anger, or whatever it is that they feel the need to express. Also, the simple fact that most cuss words are so silly and make no sense (I'm an ***hole? Um, OK, if you say so...) gives people the impression that you are of low intelligent and an inferior being At least, that's the impression it gives me.

Um...No one mentioned anything about Animal Crossing 2. Animal Crossing e+ is simply the American version of AC which will soon be released in Japan. The American version has more features like E-reader support...
Although AC2 will probably use it too...but Nintendo has never mentioned anything about AC2. Stop being confused..

I found Zelda sucked me in more...I guess I just prefer it's gameplay style. But they are both awesome..and Metroid Prime actually offered somewhat of a challenge, unlike Wind Waker

Actually, that is an old rumor than Planet Gamecube never updated....Nintendo never announced who was actually developing it, the NST thing was a rumor. But from Miyamoto's interviews it's safe to say that EAD is developing it....

Nintendo hoards all of their profits for backup which they won't need anytime soon, as they haven't recorded losses in a fiscal year for like 70 years or some crazy amount like that...
