Nope... there's no Micro -> GCNLink.  Well, no official one, and I can't make one...

Damn, I really wish whatever was going on with my phone wasn't right now.  I got an interesting NES Stand today that I want to show off, but my phone doesn't seem to want to send pictures right now... ?:|

Anywhoo, I don't have any pets and I *always* check pockets.  Twice, usually.

Why would we want to hang out with y'all when we'd get to hang out with Mario and the crew? (just teasing!!!)

It's absolutly beautiful.  It makes me really want a DS Lite...

I was playing some Dr. Mario on it just now...  I think I'm going to be playing some old GBA games again.  Which sucks, because I've got Odama, Brain Training, Tetris and a slew of other games to play as well.  I need a job where all I do is play games.  Not review them, or test them or any such thing... just where someone pays me to sit around and play whatever games I want...

Well, I was out scavaging the used stores today to see what I could find... After not finding much of anything (An SNES Mouse/Pad for $5, a stand that I'll be posting about in the general section for $6 and an NES RF modulator for $.50), I came across...

A second hand GameBoy Micro.  Black, with the three Faceplates and charger... $50.  In almost perfect condition.

I had to have it.

I'm such a whore.

Whoo!  How cool is it that the game is sub-titled?  That makes it even more wacky!

Yeah!

It just seemed really, really odd to me that the Nintendo logo isn't on the front though.  It's on the front cover of pretty much *every* Nintendo published title I can remember/check...

No, not the Doc.  Something kinda weird not to be on the cover of a Nintendo published title...

Seriously folks, Link's Awakening is the best game ever created.  Period.  Ever.

I even remember reading at ome time that Miyamoto considers it his favorite game that he created.

Suggest the CD being a Nintendo Power Promo (something akin to the Smashing Live CD).

Also, make a Link's Awakening track.

*Bzzzt* Wrong!  As long as Link's Awaking remains limited to GBA/GB, then the GBA+DS library will never be better.

God, there needs to be a Link's Awakening re-release for the GBA... >:(

They could release Star Wars on UMD, and Star Wars fans would likely buy 'em...

...but that doesn't mean they'd buy a PSP to play 'em on.

I'm not satisfied with what my tax dollars have purchased this year, Mr. Bush.  I'd like a full refund.

You'll have to excuse me, as I stayed out of the game after I was killed (the very first day) so that I wouldn't be tempted to interfere (since I don't think the dead should play)...

So who killed me and why, if I may ask?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Who's up for some hardware hacking?
« on: April 12, 2006, 06:54:27 PM »
I was thinking it could be a make-shift GameBoy Player Controller.

A and B would be, well, A and B.
X and Y would be Select and Start.

The Directional Pad would either be mapped to the D pad or the Control Stick (if that would even be possible).

Perhaps it could even be used as a DDR-type pad?

You know, I really have to say that it's nice to be able to browse PGC and not having to play "Beat the Pop-up" in order to close the windows before they even load...
