Or, just maybe, he was innocent.

Only he, those kids, and any higher power that may or may not be there know the truth.

Thats the only one I could find.  But they do have almost every other Zelda commercial there.

That site is so much fun to browse.

No means no, NB.

Its good that the trial is finally over.  MJ is a wierdo, and probably has issues, but...I don't know.  I don't know if he did what they say he did or not, but love it or hate it, he's been "proven innocent."

I was about to say something about OJ, but I think I should refrain.

Whats this I hear about the IP Miyamoto is working on -maybe- being a horror franchise?

Does this make you all warm and fuzzy inside like it does me?

"We're positioning the PS3 as a supercomputer", he says, "But people won't recognize it as a computer unless we call it a computer, so we're going to run an OS on it. In fact, the Cell can run multiple OSes. In order to run the OSes, we need a hard disk. So in order to declare that the PS3 is a computer, I think we'll have [the hard disk] preinstalled with Linux as a bonus."

Is it just me, or has Kutaragi finally gone over the deep end?

Or is this, as I suspect, just some elaborate hoax?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Pikachu vs. Nintendogs

I know I'll be buying it!

Of course, I got my DS on the day it was released, so I don't think they're worried about my money.

Is there still a cultural bias against women playing videogames in the States?  I mean, most of my best friends are girls, and they all play videogames (and routinely kick my ass on every fighting game but Smash Brothers), so if there is a bias, I'm unaware of it in the circles I run in.

Including online.

Check this out.  It would appeal to the crowd who though Cel-da was teh kid-die.

A long line at the DMV, with various people of many varieties standing in line.  Old woman, young punk with alot of metal in his face, a soccer mom, a cowboy, and then Link, in full battle regalia, shield, sword and everything, standing there tapping his foot, looking at the clock on the wall.

Voice over: "The worst part about growing up are the responsibilities that come with age."

Cut to game footage, Link charging the boar cheiftan on the bridge, fighting on horseback, a few creatures being slain.

Commercial then cuts to Link riding a horse out of the parking lot of the DMV, with a license plate on the horses rear that says "WHUARU"

Voice over: "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Only for Nintendo Gamecube."

I think I could get away with naming any future female progeny of mine "Zelda".

However, naming a son "Link" might be a little dangerous for his rep in school.

Plus, the fact that my last name is a body part (nothing gross, mind you) isn't gonna help much.

AVATAR GET!!

Among my favorites on the Genesis sits an awesome title I like to call Comix Zone.  As I can't find any good in game shots of this fellow on the net, I'll settle for the opening cinematic version.

I present Mortus.

On another note, this game was released on the GBA and no one told me?

Oh yeah? I'll show them!

*goes out to buy some chrome spray paint*

Seriously though, why does Japan get the color lovin'?  Is it to make up for the fact that we got the DS first?

minus the dashes.

yeah...I still have problems remembering Square and Circle.  I always get them confused.

And yes...I was shocked when I first saw the controller.  I seriously thought it was someones idea of a joke, until they showed me the same picture up at IGN.

Nintendo hires Ancel and buys the right to BG&E, securing the franchise as a Nintendo only IP.

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

I'm glad I'm not the only non Nintendo endboss here.

But, I must confess. Sega was my first love. Until they abandoned me, that is.  Left me all alone in the cold and dark...

Good thing Nintendo was there to pick up the peices of my shattered heart...

But having that built into the hardware so you can do it on any game is a new concept, I think.

This is a very interesting article and a pretty good read.  While I've read most of the points he makes already in this forum, he does a very good job of stringing them all together and sounding very much the "Anti-Ian", in that if they keep doing exactly what they have been, they'll not only be fine, but come out on top in the end.

Anyways.  Your thoughts?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
« on: June 01, 2005, 07:15:08 PM »
Unless Miyamoto and co. are hiding some ginourmous surprises up their sleeves in terms of character development, I don't think thats gonna happen.  I mean...for one, we've seen Zelda as herself and whole in the Twilight realm, and two, it's been said that Midna is not exactly a good guy.  Her and Link are only using each other, albeit in a mutually beneficial way, and Midna's overall objective doesn't seem to be "Saving Hyrule", if what the Gawds of Gaming have said is true.

But...it is possible, but only if they've been lying through their teeth about the characters and such.

...which, now that I think about it, would kick major ass.

Weren't these those things that flew up in the air and like...helicoptered down?

This was the first game I had to work to beat.

I remember clearly the first time I ever made it to this boss.  I had just beat Metal Sonic for the first time.  I had one life left and no rings.  I saw the giant robot and I was all "OH ****".  I ran up, jumped to attack him, and hit the spikes on his hand, killing myself.

I also think that was the first time I threw my controller in frustration.

If I'm not mistaken, his name was always Eggman in the Japanese version, it's the US versions that coined the name Robotnik during the Genesis days. I have to say, god bless them though, it's a much better name. A shame they didn't approach this aspect like Nintendo did Bowser.

Thats why I said "back to Eggman".  I know he was Eggman originally, but the stupid localization team could have stuck with the way it's always been done and just change his freakin' name in SA.

And what do you mean by Bowser?
