As a counter to the EXTREMELY MEAN insult thread, I figured I'd start a Random Compliment thread.

Now play nice, children.

There once was a Man from Nintendo,
he worked on the "Gamebox, Pretendo"
His names not important
but his works're of great portent
and he could kick your ass at kendo.

Yay for crappy limericks!!

Nah...Dreamcast uses GD-ROM. As they go through the trouble of specifying CD-ROM in the press release, I think that means other formats are not included.

That being said, Saturn used CD-ROM, so theoretically, it is possible to have Saturn games.

I think you are the only person who would admit to owning Mary Kate and Ashley Sweet 16.

...I...I touched it once.  At the store.

News Article: Reggie Confirms Nintendo Kicks Ass

News Date: 03/24/06 05:23:17
Source: Press Release

Nintendo Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Reggie Fils-Aime Said In A Statement Today That "Nintendo has always kicked ass, and will continue to do so."

REDMOND, Wash., March 24 /AP/ -- Earlier today, Reggie Fils-Aime, dubbed by his legions of adoring fans "The Regginator", confirmed in a press release that Nintendo was still kicking ass and taking names, contrary to popular belief.

"I've always held the position that Nintendo kicked ass.  I thought it was obvious.  But I called this press conference today to inform the disbelievers that asses are still being kicked over here at Nintendo.  Nintendo has always kicked ass, and will continue to do so. I personally kicked three asses today."

When asked about Sony's amount of asses kicked compared to Nintendo, Reggie had this to say, "When you look at the pure numbers, then yes, it appears that Sony and Microsoft have kicked more ass than Nintendo.  But what they don't always show is the quality of the asses we kick.  Sony will walk around booting anyone in the bum and call it a kicked ass and be done with it.  But here at Nintendo, we always make sure its an ass kicking you will remember.  And, now with the phenomenal success of the Nintendo DS(TM), we've demonstrated that you kick an ass in a variety of ways, with voice chat and touch screen control.  Also, with the success of titles such as Nintendogs(r) and the Brain Training(r) games, people of all ages are kicking ass and taking names, more so than ever before."

Reggie concluded the press conference by eating a PSP(TM) and then breaking a Xbox 360(TM) with his forehead.

I've always been partial to Gateway, personally (and not just because they are the underdog).  The difference in just the feel of a Gateway laptop as opposed to a Dell laptop is astonishing.  They don't feel like cheap plastic.

Also, they have this awesome new logo.

Having never bought computers in bulk though, I don't know who would give you the better deal.

Erm...not that I agree with him or anything, but weren't Link's Awakening, Oracles, and Minish Cap all produced by Capcom?

Has it been stated what team has been working on Twilight Princess?  The Wind Waker team was said to be working on Phantom Hourglass, I was just wondering if it had been stated who exactly was the TP team.

It would totally rock if this was a sequel to Wind Waker.

Hopefully Tetra will make a comeback too.

Sweet!  I've always kinda avoided PC releases because I've never been that much into upgrading constantly, and methinks that the nature of the game won't change like the Sims did when it broke onto handhelds.

They'll probably announce Sonic Riders being ported to the 360.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

I will watch an episode of SatAM in your honor, Sega.  You are missed.
