Dude...seriously.  Don't confuse your japanese porn cartoons with the real thing!  Just because some ninja in an "annimay" can do that sort of stuff doesn't mean real life ninjas can.

But all the reasons I listed for pirates stand for REAL pirates.

Even the not as cool phillpino ones.

I am sorry, but ninjas are not cooler than pirates, and here is why.

Pirates don't need to be stealthy to kill you.  They'll do it while you look at them.  Ninjas are pansies and need stuff like "stealth" and "poison" to come out on top.

A pirate? He'll cut you open or shoot you full of holes, then feed you to the sharks, all while looking you in the eye.

Also, International Speak Like A Pirate day.  You don't see any "Speak Like Ninja" days, do you?  Thats right, they are silent and therefore SUCK.

Agreed.

Don't get me wrong....ninja's are cool...but pirates are just MORE cool.

And..well, while the WWII genre of FPS's never had a draw for me, I'd probably get this anyways...FPS with the Rev controller as a launch title? Count me in.

What about Ubisofts FPS? Any word if thats supposed to be a launch title?

What got me was the ULTRA FREAKING HAPPY ENDING!  Seriously.  "Oh snap, everyone is dead and the big evil is too powerful for you to fight, and suddenly people come back from the dead?!"  WTF.  I really felt like it cheapened the entire series.  ESPECIALLY her brother coming back.  It was just too much.  But it didn't ruin it to the point where I didn't like it.  I was just...disappointed.

I haven't seen all that far into Otome, but I hear its a little more cerebral than Mai Hime was.

Also, I think the whole "slave" thing is really a counterpoint to the "freedom" the girls had in Mai Hime.  Also, I reckon it ties pretty deeply into the plot, i.e. They are going to overcome it later as the good guys become the bad guys, etc etc.  But thats just conjecture at the moment.

Try this mantidor. Find the Zelda CD-I opening and closing movies on youtube.com and watch them.  Try not to kill yourself.

THEN watch the old Zelda cartoons.  The comparison makes them enjoyable.

haha.  No man, I rather enjoyed Mai Hime.  The whole "We're bright and happy and now we're sad and dark" bit kinda got on my nerves, but over all I loved it.

The "not really" meant I was still going to make fun of him for buying a PSP.

And I personally know of two people who liked it, so according to your numbers, that puts us at four.

First...the Nintendocentric joke about Reggie seems a little off.

Also, they misspelled somersault.  It reeks of April Fools to me, as well.

And...well, if its anything like Angel of Darkness, they're probably gonna blame poor sales on the Gamecube version, somehow.

You know what I always found hilarious?  That the school district around here always makes it so that April 1st falls during Spring Break.

Icecold once saved a man from a grisly death in a fire, even though that man was responsible for the death of his entire family.  He is a truly "Good Person".

I never said they had to be factual.

Oh wow.

I think this is a case of "Doesn't matter if it sucks or not, its a Mai Hime fighting game."

I'll have to inform my PSP owning friend of this....and possibly stop making fun of him for buying it.

But not really.

The best thing would be a slew of tech demos like those seen in the original Rev video...a fishing game, some wandering around in the dark game, a cooking game, etc, as well as say...1-3 free VC games per console.

I meant LA.  I have the Collecters Edition disc.

Well, I live in a pretty low population area, so the chances of me finding one are pretty slim.  I suppose it wouldn't hurt to look, though,

Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November
The Time Travel theory and plot
I fail to see why Marty's travel through time
Should ever be forgot.

Marty McFly, by accident
To 1955 was sent
there to his mother met
and paradox create and fret!

By Doc's mercy he was saved
with a lightning bolt and wire catch
Holler boys, holler boys, with Biff did his father fight.
Holler boys, holler boys, he made it home alright.

Is it bad that I'm enjoying this thread so much?  It probably is.

haha.  No need to apologize, PB.  I knew what I was getting into when I posted in this thread.

However, it will be much harder for a person from eastern New Mexico like myself to go so far and befriend a Texan. =P
