I started playing Pikmin for the first time this past weekend, and so far, I'm loving it. I have found my perfectionist side keep reverting to a previous save, knowing that I can do so much better a second time around than I did before.

That, and I feel like a complete dick when some of my Pikmin are devoured or left behind at the end of a day.

The prizes are available for choosing now, by the way. I decided to go for the posters, which according to the description have "special print effects". I'm guessing that means the Luigi's Mansion poster is totally gonna glow in the dark.

I know some mentioned a (maybe naive) hope of them releasing a gold Wii Nunchuck. Would have been really nice for that to be a reality, so I could have one that matched my gold Wiimote from Skyward Sword.
 
Anyone know of a source for getting a gold nunchuck besides spray painting one myself?

Yeah, that was me. Oh well, still some nifty prizes, I'm certainly not gonna complain about free schwag. I just need to decide between either the sweet looking cards, or yet more posters I have no room to hang.

I suppose I could always pick up one o' those gold nunchucks on eBay...

Thanks! I was this close to dropping fifty big ones on the Club Nintendo release on eBay, but instead I'm just gonna import this far superior version for possibly less than I would spend on an auction.

Now I just gotta hope I still have some credit at CD Japan...

Interesting.

I would like for the new Wii Fit to be able to access the 3DS's pedometer, rather than just the standard Wii Fit pedometer the game will likely ship with, since I'd be carrying my 3DS anyway; no need to have something else in my pocket along with it.

Dear Developers - Please stop making DSiWare releases.  I can't download your games and I'm not "cleaning the fridge" in order to do so.  Make them eShop releases, please.

Or at least ask Nintendo to provide a system update that allows running DSiWare off the SD card.

Elite Beat Agents is one of my favorite DS games, but it's also one of those games I absolutely suck at. I have yet to beat the last level, even on the easiest setting. Needless to say, every time "Jumpin' Jack Flash" pops up on the radio, I have flashbacks of utter failure.

Sounding pretty good to me! Of course, I was one of those weirdos who liked the Mario anniversary collection.

Not much of an issue for me... I don't plan on buying a Wii U for at least a year, so I'll be picking up NSMB2 regardless, and by the time I play NSMBU, I probably won't mind any similarities.

I did note that the official trailer for the game had a somewhat remixed version of the main theme, so I sincerely hope that the tracks in the demos were just placeholders. It just seems very unlike Nintendo to recycle music tracks like that.
