The ROM for Ocarina of Time: Master Quest was ripped from the GCN disc. The game runs on N64 emulators. If it was a port, it wouldn't run on an N64 emulator.
Also, there are some VERY clear signs that it's being emulated on the GCN. For example, the load time at the beginning of the game. It's clearly loading the ROM of the game into memory, and that can be confirmed by opening up your disc cover while playing it. Since it's being run from memory, you can play as long as you want without the disc.
Another sign is the saving. It's not a part of the game, and you can see where the emulation is paused, and the call for the saving is handled elsewhere, then the emulation is resumed once the saving is complete.
Yes, in all likelihood the emulator used for Ocarina of Time on GCN is not usable with other games, and in that way it COULD be considered a port, but I think that it's a misuse of the word when the N64 ROM is clearly present on the disc.
