I played about a dozen times last night and it is refreshingly addictive chasing that #1. I got second place once but no pac-one for me yet. I like the inclusion of some of the trains from championship edition. Watch out for those red pac-ghosts!

I would recommend playing it as a stealthy game until you have a few upgrades. There is plenty of food, money, and weapons lying around that you can avoid most encounters at first. In hard mode I had to play the whole game like that, stressful indeed.

It hasn't been officially announced, but I believe that based on some screenshots/video frames, King Boo is a character.

I tried to find this online but just came across the stories that say King Bob-omb was leaked as a playable character. The official website no longer mentions him, but it appears this bomb has already been dropped.

Four on Four is a community event for April.
The basic idea is to complete four games from four different systems in during the month of April. This will encourage us to play more games and games on different systems. Feel free to modify the rules as you see fit. Don't have four systems? Then pick four games from the same system. Don't complete games? Then just pick four games to play and don't worry about finishing them. You can pick them ahead of time or choose them as you beat them. I am going to pick some that I have already started and plan to finish in April

Just post the games you are playing and what system you are playing them on and have fun!

It sounds like they should bring this game to switch. I remember speculation that Nintendo's mobile titles would get brought to switch but other than Pokemon quest that has not really happened.

I really miss the wishlist in the store. I had a list of a dozen games I planned to get and they are gone. I can only remember half of them. I need to pick up a game or two on vita before it's too late.

Thanks for all your added discussion Discord.RSS. As you can see from the leaderboards you were number 1 for posting.

I agree, with Wii U I could actually look at every single game available and due an unabridged study of the eShop. Even now I would not attempt that with Switch. But that is just a product of the Switch's success, which is a good thing.

Now maybe it is time to resume looking at the 3DS eShop, eh Khushrenada  ;)

Eloquently said Discord. I spoke with Khrushenada about the Wii U games and he thought that since the funds were already on the eShop that it would not necessarily count. I will leave it up to Pokepal when tabulating the final score.

I managed to get one last game in Silver Falls Undertakers. You might remember this as the only 3DS game to release this year (so far). Like Silver Falls: 3 Down Stars it is buggy and I had to replay it due to a glitch. However, if you have nostalgia for Atari 2600 games and like drawing your own maps on graph paper then you will enjoy it for what it is.

More free games for PS4 owners. No PS plus needed. Just go to:
https://store.playstation.com/en-us/category/9779f12f-50c8-4c07-8d20-47e21293b6c6/1
I already bought most of these and some do require PSVR. The Witness and AstroBot are 10's IMO (and according to IGN).

They came up on radar recently when watching "The Boys" a TV show on Amazon Prime Video. Definitely worth checking out as an anti-super hero show.

Does Khushrenada want to finish Doomsday Warrior tonight?

The Reviews
The following review data has information in the following order
Game Title (Metacritic Score, NWR Review Link/Score)

The Highlights
The average Metacritic score for this batch is about 81 and the average review score from NWR is 8.7. This shows how many well received games are in the list above. For the best of the best we have six games to get a 10 from NWR!! They are Kirby's Epic Yarn, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Punch Out!!, Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Looking at metadata we see some overlap with the six games to have over a 90 average. Those games are
Metroid Prime Trilogy, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Xenoblade Chronicles.

On the bottom shelf we see the Rabbids getting the only sub 7 score from NWR and PokePark Wii getting a mere 62 Metacritic score.

GG everyone. Having the theme be 90's music finally allowed me to finally cash in on having a user name that is 90's music group. Definitely a missed opportunity for Adrock. I found the role playing let me avoid making selections based on familiarity or the psychology of the bomb selector. In the last round I was really thinking Insanolord would pick 49ers since that is a sports team and he likes sports (I think). Of course I don't know sports or Insanolord for that matter and as weak as my reasons for selecting were they were purely motivated by the story I was telling. I also was not expecting to be able to go in chronological order or avoid re-picking the same thing for so long, but it all seemed to work out. The pattern Khush noticed with the placement of the bomb in the lower choices is interesting and I am curious if that affected people's selections consciously or subconsciously.

Your YT account?
No, my youtube is pretty boring. I just use it for work.

How about some Nintendo music while we wait.

That's a really cool concept for a video. I don't remember seeing a video with the lyrics appearing as text. I usually tell people I don't do social media but now that I think about it, the NWR forums are social media, right?

623
Sorry to keep everyone waiting but that is what we did. For almost 20 years we denied rumors of a reunion while rabid fans developed Bungle Fever. That all changed last year when Mike, Trey, and Trevor reunited to play a small number of US shows. We were joined by metal legends Scott Ian (Anthrax) and Dave Lombardo (Slayer) and even re-recorded our very first demo, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny. Naturally, King Gong shows up as soon as he smells money to be made and begs us to collaborate with one of the few acts that will still talk to him. I mean, we already worked with both of these groups based on rather tenuous connections. But since Danny and Clinton are still in Australia, having not come back for the reunion, it would not make sense for us to work Bizz Nizz again. After all, we are a California band and California is the home of the 49ers. So that brings us to the present day and only leaves one unanswered question - Don't You Love Me?

624
Capcom is running a sale now and most of these games are currently discounted. Prices below are for the US.
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy - $14.99 $29.99 (Switch)
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy - $11.99 $29.99 (3DS)
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies - $8.99 $29.99 (3DS)
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice - $11.99 $29.99 (3DS)
  • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - $9.99 $19.99 (3DS)

Of course, the one game I was going to get, Layton vs. Wright, is not on sale.  :'(
