I'm still questioning this, as referrences in WW mention only the "Hero of Time" so where would TP fit into the background of WW, if it does come before? Then again there's the coming after OOT, but how does Ganondorf get out so soon? didn't they mention several decades after OOT? if that still holds up that is.

But the people where looking for the hero to return but he didn't, Which is definately a sighn that it takes place after oot in the timeline where Link in his older form departed Hyrule that ganondorf destroyed.
But does TP pickup after that? or when Link reverts to his childhood timeline? Ah! the annomaility of Space-time contanium. gotta love when 1 becomes 2 and branches into several seperat timelines drawing off one another in different scenarios, due to time constantly changing from one to another. Could these actions be the result of OOT - TP - WW???

hmmm... hard to say, something's gotta make sense. unless the people where mistaking Links. Yet the statue in Hyrule castle would have you believe it's OOT's Link. So I'm still trying to figure how TP and WW are connected. But there's still the OOT to think of as well, But what role is ganondorf playing now? Will he be like his WW counterpart or OOT? or entirely different.

I'm thinking too much into this, yet it can't be helped. Nintendo caused it lol.

I fully understand where you're coming from with your thinking. The only thing I can think of is the "Twilight" is somehow going to keep Link away near the end of his journy so by the time Ganon does return, Link gets back too late. So all of his efforts will be for not and the people never here of Links attemps to save the land.

Or perhaps, Link is the one who floods Hyrule and the people somehow think the gods have shown them "mercy".

Or maybe,  Child Link from Majora's Mask returns and something something...

Something that really turned me off was the lion coming back to life.  If he's dead, leave him dead!  And what turned me off even more was that the head honcho (Peter) didn't kill the witch, the lion dude did!  The protaganist doesn't go on his journey to have someone finish stuff for him!  And Santa?  What in the world was that about?

Very good movie...

That's because the books are really just retellings of the bible. Aslan = Jesus.

Perms commercial is Satin. Now that's what I'm talking bout baby boy. The only thing I think you should add is "change the game" then "change the future". Other than that minor change, "Best Revolution Ad Evar"!!!

Could this be the "Revenge of the Sith" of Zelda games. The bad guys won but there was still hope. I'm trying to wait to play Wind Waker again until after TP drops kinda like waiting to watch the OT on DvD untill I watched the PT.

Shots of people running into an abandoned factory. Cut to shots of people moving their controllers around (exaggerated movements like in the Revolution teaser) mixed with game footage. Cut to logo. A little dramatic, but it's cool.

And that sir is good stuff. Good stuff indeed.

"Well, it's kind of impossible to make a campaign until they announce the system's actual name."

I will bet you a six pack of frosty goodness that whatever the final name is, it will have "Revoulotion" in the title.

The marketing almost writes itself for the Revolution. Can you come up with a slogan that doesn't sound cheesy and forced? I didn't see a thread on this.
I like:

"The Revolution, because 'evolution' works too slow."
"Are you brave enough for change?"
"Become you're own Revolution."

What else you folks got?

Nintendo botched GameCube.  Regardless of weather or not my favorite games are on the system. Metroid Prime is arguably the greatest game of all time along with other greats like F-zero, WindWaker, RE4 Eternal Darkness and yet if you're going for the Number One Spot, you have to adapt with the times and for two generations, Nintendo has failed to do so.
•Markerting
•Lack of of DVD support
•Smaller disc size
•Off-line
•3rd Party support( better but not great)

I love Nintendo games and since the others don't deliver what I want, I have to be patient with what I have. With that being said it doesn't take away from the fact these points, although they're not important to Nintendo per se, if you're going for market leadership you have to give the people, all the people not just Nintendo fans what they want.

I'm glad Nintendo decided to flip the script and go what I like to call "mainstream niche." Since Nintendo sucks at playing catch-up, they quit and started a whole new race and that seems perfect to me.

Ahhh what do I know, I'm a eagles fan.

Yeah I want to see King Kong but to me it's all about Narnia. Been waiting like 15years to see a good Naria flick. I wonder if they'll make all seven in to films?

It just occured to me that if Zelda: TP had came out on time I wouldn't care about any of this mess. One thing that makes no sense is us getting all bent out of shape over clock speeds. " There is no way the cpu is only 900mhz", sh*t my doorbell has a faster chip than that.

Revolutions final specs will be simalar to the MacMini.

"Considering everything we know, the above link represents the what the graphical abilities are of Nintendo's Next-Generation console, Codenamed: Revolution."

Although I just found the old SpaceWorld2000 video of Metriod Prime, more ram and better(bump) texture processing should lead you to games that look just a tad bit better this. If this is the case, then I will be more than happy.

What I foresee as The Revolutions abitlies:

RE4 with better textures and Zombies that respawn but don't fade after death.
Metriod Prime 3 with triple the poly count.
F-Zero Gx with real time physics reaction. (PPU?)
Grand Turismo 4 with Hi textured back drops.
Rouge Leader with 3x the ships on screen.
MGS3 with more fluid animation
The Wind Waker with...um...well nothing, The Wind Waker is graphic perfection.

Even after playing Call of Duty 2 on anXboX360 w/HD, these games(above) still look really good.  HD texturs are nothing but sexy, its true and there is no way around it but if you can push SD textures to the limit then you'll almost have Pixar quality gaming at DvD quailty resolutions. I'm sure most of us would be more than happy with the results.

What if you can tell what weapon you have just by looking at the controller? Or perhaps the controller will be able to transmit some sort of visual signal that can change based on the weapon you have in use? Lasers yo can see and junk like that.

Do you think that in a first person shooter, using the NRC, a developer would bother to show the weapon on the screen if you're actually holding it? What do you think is better, the character on screen mimicking your actions or you actions dictating what goes on around you. Do you really need to see Samus's Arm Canon on screen if it's in your hands?

It's "Light Sensitive".  It reacts to the amount of light in the room.
It's  "Sound Sensitive". Like the DS

-or-

It has laser pointer on it so you can see what you're pointing at on the screen.

A HUD that conects to the controller itself and goes over the eyes DBZ style. I'm right you know, I'm always right. Even when I'm wrong I'm still right because I could have been right if I choose the right way. Plus I was right about the controller all the way down to the blue lights and freestyle control. (Now shower me with interweb hugs!!!!) HUD FTW!!!

As I look back I start to think maybe just maybe the GameCube gave me the best gaming experience of my life with Metroid Prime but the Zelda fan inside me has yet to conceded. MP and F-Zero GX are worth the price alone. Wow how good of a game is F-Zero GX? The best racer ever?
