Snow temple is now complete (the second one). Overall, I'm enjoying the game. I like the world and dungeon design from what I have seen so far. I also like how you can draw on the map.
I think my only real complaint is the forced touch controls and that you can only equip one item at a time. It makes quickly swapping between items quite annoying. As for the touch controls, they work but when you want to be more precise in your movements or attacks, like in a boss battle, it just plain feels bad.
Besides the novelty factor and trying to appeal to less experienced players, I don't see any reason why this control scheme should be forced on all players. It would be so much better if it has normal button controls, like almost every other 2D Zelda.

Another thing I like is the graphics/art style. For a polygonal 3D DS game, it looks pretty nice. Or nice until it zooms in on any of the characters.

I guess so?

I got the game back when it was new, but stopped playing after the first temple for some reason. I'm hoping to finish it this time

The atgames consoles are ****. This will appeal to that same market while also appealing to the Nintendo classic edition market.

Yes, they are awful, I have used one. Im very tempted to preorder this new one.

The Wii U version would often crash. Does the Switch version also suffer from this?

This is very confusing when the AtGames mini consoles already exist.

I like the idea of having circle pads on a small Switch. But the way they are aligned in that mockup looks like it would be super uncomfortable to hold.

What I want is a New 3DS XL sixed device, but just the bottom half. Move the ABXY buttons down a bit to fit in another circle pad instead of the C-Stick. You now have the perfect small portable Switch

I would really need to see official details before thinking about getting a new model Switch. I use it docked most of the time, so a more powerful docked version would be nice. But a more portable smaller version would also be nice. I currently much prefer the 3DS as a portable system.

After letting it settle for a few weeks, I can definitely say the new eShop roundup is a good improvement to the show

I need a full version of the music from the trailer. It is amazing

I tried this at PAX in 2017. I want to like it, but the difficulty puts me off.

My mind was blown by the Cadence of Hyrule trailer. It was completely unexpected and that music was amazing.
Im really excited for Pine. I backed it on Kickstarter two years ago. Until now, it was only confirmed for PC.
The Red Lantern has me interested because it is a story game with the voice of Chloe from Life is Strange.
Neo Cab looks like it could be my kind of game too.

It has been a long time since Another Code was mentioned on the show. I love the games on DS and Wii. Hotel Dusk and Last Window are great too. Its too bad Chase on 3DS was nowhere near as good.

This is very surprising. It will be weird not seeing him at E3 or in Directs anymore.

The Switch doesn't need the camera. The only two games I can think of that used it on the Wii U are Nintendo Land and Wii Fit U.

I don't like either of the two designs. Why does the Vita looking one have a camera on it? The Switch doesn't have a camera.

We might see a smaller Switch at some point, but it wont be a major redesign.

I didn't even know this was on Switch until I saw the review. I have been playing it on Xbox One, thanks to Game Pass. It is a very weird game.

Those are some impressive numbers.
I was hoping 3DS would outsell GBA eventually, but at the rate of sales now, I don't think it will be possible.

It was a great event. I listed to close to 8 hours of it live. Im very glad I got to call in twice and talk to Dr Metts about Dragon Quest.

I look forward to listening to the parts I missed whenever the recording gets published.

The Master System version of Sonic could be at the top because of purchase mistakes. That's what happened to me many years ago.
I didn't even know there was a Master System version, so I wasn't paying attention to what system the VC game was for. I didn't realise my mistake until it had finished downloading and I loaded up the game.
After that I had to buy more Wii Points to get the Megadrive version. Both versions are still sitting on my Wii U.

This is kind of off topic, but until I played Sonic on the Gamecube collection in 60hz relatively recently, I never understood why people said Sonic is fast in those old games. Until then, I never realised how much slower our 50hz version is.
