The NHS has free health kits and sessions and stuff to pay for people to stop smoking. So why pay?

My gift-giving is totally legitimate! Bob cannot VC me a game because i'm in Europe and the sodding thing is region locked.

Therefore i nominated someone who can receive (and enjoy) it on my behalf

No pantylining strategy involved.

I honestly reckon this **** is carried out with movies all the fucking time.
Seriously 300 anyone? The movie seemed to have hype on the interent coming from nowhere. And it was just a boring green screen action flick.
How about I Am Legend it's a bloody zombie movie starring Will Smith, Prince of Boring, yet internets were all over it.

And now I'm looking suspiciously at Brandogg, who even cares about Weezer anymore? Why the thread?

YOU TAKE THAT BACK. Would you rather have a film with Uwe Boll?

I believe the plural term for anus should be ani, and peni for penis, kind of like octopi, though I guess that's technically for dealing with different types of octopus. Anyway, I just think ani and peni sound funny.

And the plural for virus is....? Virii? Is that even a word?

No.

i'm not gonna trust pulling out

I wouldn't trust someone to their word anyway.. they'll do it anyway coz they ain't listening. Especially when you can hear it from the bedroom next door.

Zack & Wiki is a must.  Whatever you do, don't use the hints.  It's a serious gaming challenge that doesn't hold your hand

Having just finished the game, I couldn't agree more. Solving the puzzles without hints proved to be one of the most satisfying game experiences I've had in a long while. I managed to get this on import for under $30 US (the Freeloader has paid for itself now by a wide margin), so $20 is a total steal. Even if you've never played adventure games before (which I hadn't), this merits very serious consideration for purchase.

I disagree. I was getting too itchy with the ending because i wanted to get onto No More heroes.

His blog entry is lengthy, well-written, and more thought out than I'd really expect to see in a blog medium.  Obviously, since we're in the "Staff Blog" talkback section, the question is silly.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of Nintendo-like-polish is there? I read it as him, very dryly, taking the pee out of flame wars. I do roughly the same with racial differences on my site for the same effect.

Please elaborate.

The items are fine.

The biggest obstacle is really learning the details of the stages/turns and executing your intentions (on the wheel, cuz it's awesome) properly.

This argument falls apart when you always get the cloud when you're light years behind.

Expense. More. Yum. I saw Rock Band in GAME for "only" (THEY PRICED IT AS ONLY) £130. $260 for coloured plastic bibs?

Both Guitar Hero and Rock Band are in very close danger of falling into a pit by pricing themselves out of the market they created. Wii Fit for £70 was tolerable because of the reuse value of the board. I won't buy any of these music peripheral games because 6 months later they announce Wannabe Beyoncé Superstar Dance Troupe 5001 and start it all over again.

We derail things because it's the only way to bring sanity to our otherwise destructive lives.

You'd think that Nintendo would want to treat Europe well considering the huge markup in prices over there, they most likely make more money per game in Europe than in America or Japan.

It's not a huge markup. It's subsidy money! We subsidise YOU.

Oh well, i managed to get Geometry Wars Wii for £5 new, so its not that hard if you don't wander into GAME and buy GTA IV for £45/$90.

3671
I guess I need to devote more time into this game. It's a real slow starter.

Also, I never was too hot on Metroid style "go explore and good luck" type games anyways.

Does it need more third party orgasmatrons?

Lethal Weapon 4 and Die Hard 4 did it well enough. But i sat through this last night saying "WTF" followed by "No seriously, WTF?"

Plus the ending is a complete rip from the stargate franchise.

What? A mile is longer than a km. Pretty sure it's 1.6km to the mile.

Yep, might want to check your measurements Plugz.

OOPS.

I rarely get hit by blue shells.

When im miserably behind and have no hope of catching up, i almost always get a cloud only to push me further back. The rubber band works both ways, it will throw you back up to front or it will punish you for being last.
