This week i'm going to see The Raid (it's called The Raid: Redemption elsewhere).

I promised i'm going to milk unlimited movies card (£220 a year for as many as i want) and i think i'm making good on that promise.

Try Portable Firefox. It doesn't require administrator rights to do anything, therefore skipping past everything else.

I saw How i Spent My Summer Vacation (or Get The Gringo as it's called in America).

It's good seeing Mel Gibson do an action movie again. Even if he's too old for this ****. Felt almost like a parody of action movies he's done before.

Yes, because they also renewed Smash even though that slid down the ratings.
Alcatraz (on Fox) was cancelled and that slid almost exactly the same amount - from about 12m to 5-6m.

Honestly, look at 13 episodes of Community as being a blessing. It's taking it into the realm of (long) british tv seasons, and that only means a good thing for quality.

*Insert dead baby joke here*

Seriously really? The new economic super powered my ass.

I totally misread that.

I would get excited by this but i can't given Blockbuster's sudden return to gaming after having sold Gamestation to Game (followed by its subsequent collapse).

Does WALL-E count as a film with a subtext about human dependency on technology?

I wonder if uncleboob was talking about Nicki Minaj videos. Because they can be loosely described as music too.

Selling 5000 copies only generates revenue, not necessarily profit. That figure is probably much higher.

Quit being a trolling cock tease and post the goods, then 3day ban yourself for being a terrible poster.

I agree. Self titillation is the way to go.

Avengers.

GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE.

If you have not yet booked tickets, stop whatever you are doing right now and do so.  To the first showing.   Do it right now.

It opens here today. I'm seeing it at 6pm, SAVE THE ECONOMY, SEE IT IN 2D! and am making a rush there at lunch to buy the tickets.

I would get to nail his wife repeatedly, and she would have loved every second of it.... she actually would have been sad that we eventually had to change back ;)

The major problem with that kind of film is it's always like for like. What if the person you swapped with was gay, lesbian or transgendered? Would you be saying "(s)he loved every second of it" then?

*derailed.

The last episode "Letters of Transit" is very much an episode designed to throw forward into next season, completely ignoring if they get a season 5 or not. The only way it will make sense now is if it's tied into the current storyline, or whatever happens in episodes 20-22. I have hopes they do.

Fringe always goes for the long ball, but deals with it and moves on after a season. Only a few major things keep going on beyond that.

And can i say now, even though John Noble is an incredible actor the rest of the main cast are all equally as amazing. Jasika Nicole, who plays Asteroid, completely nails the alternate Austrid, her mannerisms and that stunted cadence.

It's an insult that Fringe and Lost premiered at the same time while Lost got all the hype and accolades.

Fringe has evolved from being a stone average sci-fi procedural to probably one of the best sci-fi shows in years. It's probably second to DS9 at this point.

John Noble can act circles around EVERYONE.

I went to see Cabin in the Woods yesterday. I did enjoy how blatantly mocking it was about the genre as a whole, but for me the film nearly fell apart at the end with the system purge button, which might as well have been labelled FINISH THE MOVIE!.

The problem with the storm was it was a pokescreen phone not a touch screen. That would annoy a lot of people very quickly.

Cabin is later today.

LOL, does the LEGO guy on the far left have no face?

Have YOU ever seen a picture of Greg?
I'm not sure why Karlie felt the need to make me a Musketeer armed with a circular saw...

LOL, I always picture him as looking like Malcolm Reed from Star Trek: Enterprise since their accent is almost the exact same.

It's nowhere near to that! His voice is like a cross between Barry White and Stephen Fry.

I really wanted a version where instead of Greg was we just get a question mark or "insert greg here".

Or Greg in a joker costume i mentioned in another thread.

In a way i secretly hope for a RFN UK Mini Panel featuring The Greg and Karlie and co.

Greg can even wear a joker costume to preserve his mysterious character.
