Do NOT talk about his career, as long and storied as it is. This is a memorial in his honor.

You will be missed, Ted.

I'm not going to tell you what to get but rather what I have: Vista using Media Center. I looked around and thought about Linux and some media software that does everything except wash my dishes, but in the end the setup I have works awesome. I can now use 360s as media extenders, so everything that is recorded I can watch while in bed or on the main tv. Using the 360 as an extender is comparable to other extenders in price, and if I want to play some games in bed I have that option.

Goldeneye will never again see the light of day. Nintendo still hold some publishing rights over the game and there's no way they'll allow it to be released on a Microsoft platform. Plus, Rare would have to pay to use the Bond license once again.

Both Goldeneye and Perfect Dark already have a dual-analogue control setting which can be achieved using two controllers. I haven't ever found a single person who used this setup, but still, it was there. It's a novel idea and the only game I know of which allowed the use of two controllers for one player.

What? What? Really? Is this possible without the Game Shark? Its a preset control scheme? And how do you overclock an N64 anyway?

Thank you for the impressions. I was so close to picking up the RE5 CE when someone's impressions made me think otherwise. Sounds highly dubious that what you have is really worth $100.

What do you know? I'm the one who's having the fourth kid with the same woman... o_O

I was joking, but really 4 kids.... wow.

Yes, I knew you were and hopefully you knew I knew so I can correctly say I knew that you knew that I knew... :D

We'll see. Sometimes the soul of a game gets left behind. The intangible stuff that no one can explain but we know when its missing.

We'll see. The remake isn't even being done by Rare.

I think we can thank the 80s for turning cartoons into fodder for kids instead of entertainment for the family. Before the Simpsons, the Flinstones was the longest running prime time cartoon. Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry were very much meant for adults along with children. I would say that animated films still struggle to find an adult audience in the US, Pixar created or otherwise.

Here's a quick test sketch I did of Spiderman. I intend to make it a little bit larger with more detail.

I did a small press comic book called Alien Force. The company is out of business and now some other publishing outfit has their name. Darned if I can't remember it though.

Whats not relevant is the movie industry's vision of Superman. The tighter they remain to the core story, the better the movie will be.

I wouldn't call the character generic. But I would say that just because Grin put a fresh coat of pixels on a NES game doesn't mean they get to take credit for it being a good game. How many people are saying Metal Gear Twin Snakes is a good game thanks to Silicon Knights? Its just a fresh look at an old game with some tooling around thrown in.

The character may lack something that is appealing, but dreadlocks aren't plentiful. A huge metallic arm with his wife embeded isn't very common.

Yes, District 9 is awesome. I love these movies where I have no idea what to expect going in. I thought it was going to be some Planet of the Apes/Alien Nation story clone. Nope. Totally different direction. The effects are full of win. I was worried a bit about the hand cam, but it grows on you and just becomes part of the experience.

I asked a friend to pick up the issues for me, but I haven't been able to read the story yet. I'm sad there isn't a comic store nearby. Not even a news stand, though I would be hard pressed to buy a comic off a spinner. I did read IGNs spoiler though. Very interesting, and I'm glad a 'nobody' from the past is being used. That should drive up some back issue prices. I hear the Captain Atom appearances are rare.

Oh man. I go to the Outer Banks and I miss this whole thing. Not fair.

I am willing to admit to being jealous over not being included in the poll. I want a forum GF.... Too bad EasyCure is already spoken for :(
