Is LOSH Legion of Superheroes?

Yep, really underrated show. I really liked season 2. Season 1 was your usual kids stuff but still tolerable.

Though where would you place Static Shock and Batman Beyond?

Static would be somewhere lower than BTAS along with Zeta Project.

Batman Beyond i would probably place in the region of Teen Titans with english opening (i split TT because i really liked "serious" episodes with an english intro but the wacky ones with japanese intro were annoying at best and horrible most of the times).

I think it took me a week to listen to this in full.

As far DC animated shows go:

Superman TAS > JLU > Batman Brave and Bold > JL season 2 > Teen Titans (english intro) > LOSH season 2 > BTAS > LOSH season 1 > Teen Titans (japanese intro) > JL season 1

First season of JL is really meh. It was my first DCAU show and it turned me off majorly. It took me a year to give it a second chance with BTAS this time.

I was in that thread and it was one of the most touching hours i spent on internet. The beginning is kinda shitty due to someone trying to start DC vs Marvel shitfest, but it all pays off in later half.

You gotta take good with the bad, i guess.

The bad? The CPU is really as bad as it looks. It's basically three overclocked Wiis, and without that graphics chip, it can't even play high def video. (Key technical point: The Wii's CPU cannot handle the h.264 codec, a popular Blu-Ray codec, in standard definition. 1080p is a little under six times that, so I will stand by my point)

Yep. I watched lots of videos encoded with by h264 with WiiMC, both as mp4 files and on youtube. The resolution should be low though, but that has more to do with Wii's own resolution.

You don't even need to resort to homebrew to prove this. Wii's official Youtube channel uses Google's WebM codec for video which is in the same ballpark.

While i agree with that bad CPU is worrisome, we already have games as good looking as Assasin's Creed III. At launch.

Can anyone confirm that partitioning the disk indeed won't work? It would be a waste to use all of my 600Gb hard drive just for a dozens Gb actually needed for Wii U games.

If not i will just use my two old ass 150Gb IDE-hard drives with IDE to USB connectors. It's not gonna look pretty though.

My most recent purchases include: Empowered: Vol 1 Deluxe Edition, Power Girl vol 1, Power Girl: Bomb Squad, & Batman: Hush.

I have some Empowered in paperback. I keep it in the box instead of showing it off on the shelf...

I've got all of PG series and Terra's book should be delivered sometime this week.

But for some reason "PG: Aliens and Apes" is out of print or something. The only way to get it is through resellers by ridiculous prices.

Recently, i've bought two first paperbacks of Waid's 90s Flash run, should be good.

The biggest letdown of the Wii U launch.

Forget patches, forget accounts, forget all that stupid whining noise -- all this pales to comparison to my disappointment that one of the games i was (heck, still am!) psyched to play with my friends.

I am literallly down to 1 (one, single) multiplayer game out of my launch games i was gonna buy. Maybe Tekken if i manage to find it anywhere.

As i said they're both pretty slow so i could practice.

Also i really wanted to try Portal 2 co-op (i tried it online, but just got frustrated, with a pal in the same room it's much more enjoyable).

Status update.

I think i starting to get it finally.

First thing i realized is that you don't have to control your stick all the time, a few nudges from time to time work fine.
Second one is that vertical aiming is problematic for me since i instinctively want to compensate which leads to me pushing it too far up or down and then i overcompensate for that a d so on So i started avoiding raising or lowering my right stick and it finally started to make sense.

I've played Half Life 2:Black Mesa and Portal 2 (pc split-screen co-op, hell yeah) both of games aren't really big on aiming.

I couldn't justify Darksiders or Batman since I could buy the whole series for $59.  That's Both Batman games, both Darksider games, and all their DLC on Steam.  Just can't justify the price difference

I think i saw first game for ten bucks of something on Steam. Second game was also ready available for similar price.

I'm still buying Batman, Darksiders and AC3 day one for novelty's sake. Unfortunately only with AC3 i know that it's gonna be on par with consoles, but eh, i can deal with it.
