General Gaming / Re: What is the last game you beat? Thoughts/impressions?
« on: February 03, 2015, 09:58:04 AM »
I beat Jet Set Radio on the Vita two days ago. It was a little challenging, but that was more to do with the wonky character movement and some physics-based problems. For instance, I shouldn't lose all my momentum when I boost jump onto a grind rail when I'm at a perfect angle.

I was thinking about getting all the Graffiti Souls, but I didn't realize you had to get Jet rankings on every level to do so. I thought they were all collectibles in levels like the ones I got.

Not yet, Lucariofan!

Are Rosalina Amiibo still in stock at stores, you think?

:Q  Just noticed that Ninja Battle Heroes wasn't reviewed by NWR, or if it was, I missed it!
Seriously, it's a great, cheap 3DS 2D platformer with lots of charm, great use of 3D, and challenging! Too bad it has such a generic-sounding name! I'll post a review in the User Review section when I finish the game!

No, I actually didn't, to be honest. I READ it a lot.
This wasn't supposed to be clever, so if it was, it wasn't intentional.

Maybe it's just my computer, but the images are broken on Mr. John's page!

Anyway, my favorites in 2014 were Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move, Shovel Knight, Guacamelee: STCE, Scram Kitty, Ninja Battle Heroes, Armillo, Tappingo 2, and if I think of the others, I'll post them! :)

That looks complicated. I'm afraid I'll somehow screw up having the internet for the whole house! I'll try that out tomorrow, though, and post my results, if any! Thanks, Soren!  :)

I think the developer is going to add more content. I believe it was said in a review's comment section on another site by the developer of all places.

Anyway, yeah, the lack of words is odd, but at the same time, it would make solving the hard level puzzles really difficult since there is really only enough time to rearrange the letters and not to also figure out the actual word for the pictures.

Apparently on Friday, there will be a video presentation detailing more on Xenoblade Chronicles X. It's currently a Japan-only thing. This news was brought to attention from NeoGAF's L~A.

Definitely send me a friend request if you aren't already on my list, marvel. I think I might have to remove some people I don't recognize, but I think you're worth it!

Yeah, that makes sense. I think it was just my OCD talking there!  ;D

Well, I appreciate your posts regardless. Between the lack of a regular New Nintendo 3DS in North America, the complete laughable release schedule or lack thereof with the Amiibo line, the absolute incompetence of the Wii U launch everywhere, and the handling of the last years of the Wii (just to name a few things), it's very hard to like Nintendo A LOT of times. If it weren't for the quality of their games, Nintendo would not have it so lucky to be able to be as stupid as they are the majority of the time.

broodwars

Hates Nintendo

I think just trying to disregard broodwars by posting his tag is a bit disingenuous. He raises good points, but it's blocked by too much repetition that it gets tiring occasionally.

Yeah... My picture could be posted again to respond to your newest post, since it's basically the same argument only reworded differently.

Since when has redundancy stopped these forums?

Very true! I do very much agree with you, but I think after the 80th (I know I'm exaggerating on the number) time, your argument becomes increasingly less powerful as it goes on. It gets to the point where people will just skim your posts, no matter if they are full of truth and facts or not, and miss out on your thoughts. It'll be, like, "oh, here's broodwars complaining about Nintendo for the 219th time" instead of them focusing on your actual argument.

Nintendo Gaming / Anyone know how to solve a NAT 3 issue?
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:37:06 PM »
My Wii U and 3DS work just fine, but I can't get my PS3 to not have anything other than a NAT 3 connection. It stinks because I can't play LittleBigPlanet 3 online with people. My connection is a NAT 3, making those types of games impossible to play without a ton of lag.

I remember an option was doing something with the DMZ and allowing the PS3 to be open on it or something? I don't recall.

I also don't recall what information I should give to get some help, so I apologize ahead of time!

This was the first Super Bowl I didn't even bother watching. Even if were two teams I didn't care for, I'd at least watch for the commercials. This time it was, like, who gives a s^%$?

You have to "love" how apparently the only way to actually get any rewards today was to essentially DDOS attack a site that already falls over at the slightest hint at interest, ensuring that once again only the Ebay scalpers can get to any of the physical rewards. Nintendo, they competence is indeed boundless.

I was awake when the rewards were updated, so I managed to cash in my coins on Dr. Luigi, Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger, and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity!

I don't know of any Japanese FAQs, since I imagine a lot of changes will be made to the 3DS version compared to the N64 original. This means new dialogue for certain sections and explanations within the game. I think it will be difficult to play it without knowing much Japanese.  :confused;

I haven't tried yet. haha I would imagine so!

General Chat is for more serious(ish) discussion of non-gaming topics, like you see with the various TV/movie/sports threads. The Funhouse is for more jokey type things, and also terrible Khushrenada threads.

There didn't seem to be much of a distinction earlier since some General Chat topics were spilling over into the Funhouse.
