Kinect 2.0 is out for windows I believe. There was also some internal trails of Kinect embedded into laptops but that never went anywhere.

This is what Windows 8 should have been, I blame Steven Sinofsky for taking to get this long. Its funny that even though early previews of this are getting praise this is still every OS in One just it conforms smartly to each form factor and doesn't feel like everything is being held together by tape. One big issue that they will have to change is updating all the iconography alongside the streamlined UI.

My tech upgrades will be ready around the time this launches so i'll be interested to see the state of Windows vs Android by next year. It seems that Google themselves has given up on Native chromebook development in Lieu for porting Android apps to the platform. I hope the surface/nokia team actually puts out more hardware than mobile, and puts out some quality Laptop and desktops.

There is no Xbox One in that lineup.

The farthest screen to the right with the Kinect under it is the xbox one. If you zoom into the screen you see an Xbox Avatar, the new iconography for user icons, as well as tiles for Forza Horizon 2, Minecraft, and Ori and the Blind forest.

So the next version of Windows just got announced today being Windows 10.


Today's reveal was just for enterprise user's and the consumer facing Reveal showing off the full gambit will be ready for next year's build and the OS will release in the middle of next year.

It seems that Windows Phone is now just Windows and will be running Windows 10, and the Xbox One will be getting the update in the middle of next year as well.

Starwars.com just posted the last story reel of the clone wars last week, featuring full voice acting. It seems the rest of the unused one wars scripts will eventually be used else where.

The Darth maul story was continued in the son of the dathomir comic that also finished on a cliff hanger.

The Ventress Plot points will be concluded in next years novel Dark Disciple.

Really unsure if were going to see anymore clone wars based stuff after that since all the other projects are tackling the OT era.

The first two episodes of rebels is on disney XD to watch. Its a better starting point than the clone wars had.

Well the hype train for stars wars will be on high alert. Before it comes out were going to be seeing.

The Original Cut of the OT and the PT released on blu-ray.

Most likely a full blu-ray release of the clone wars with all the seasons and the story reels.

Star Wars Rebels season 1 blu ray release and the start of season 2.

Disney Infinty Star Wars and Battlefront releases.

Plus details on the first spin off film.

First look at Mockingbird.

One of the most exciting casting announcements for the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was Adrianne Palicki’s guest role as the superhero Mockingbird. Like Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye—a character whose comics counterpart actually has a relationship with her—Mockingbird isn’t so much a superpowered demigod as she is a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. operative. But before Palicki can become Mockingbird, she’ll first have to appear as Bobbi Morse.

Courtesy of ABC, here’s your first look at Palicki as Bobbi Morse, the head of Hydra Security and the future Mockingbird.  But will she be friend or foe to Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D.? The Mockingbird part suggests friend, but the Hydra part…things might get complicated.

Palicki will appear as Bobbi Morse in the October 21 episode, “A Hen in the Wolf House.”

Big Heir Six is a movie in the MCU.

Triplett and Mac the mechanic.

I'll out my thoughts on the episode later this week but I liked it a lot more than Gotham.

My big hope for next season is we get a lot of more personal episodes alongaide the ensemble stuff. A few more episoides like the one with Ward becoming Hydra. Those type of episodes were my favorite parts of angel something this show has a lot in common with.

Like give me a Fitz based episode where he teams up with Deathlok on a mission.

They didn't just imply it. Montoya is a lesbein in the comics and her main plot lines include two face becoming obsessed with her and outing her, her relationship with Kate Kane, and being trained by Vic Sage and taking over the role of the question after he dies.

Its also to put a starin of their relationship and make Gordan seem like less of a dick once he starts cheating on her with Essex. (The Captain who stuck bullock with Gordan.). Which is funny because in the comics Essex looks more like the actress who plays Barbara while Barbra is more average looking and worn out.



Also the cobblepot stuff wasn't that hamefisted since he had the nick name penguin before Batman shoes up info gotham.

The reason why they couldn't do gotham central is because it would lean in our cast being for the most part incompetent, since even in GC Batman saves the day most of the time.

Also Gordan isn't apart of the GCPD during Gotham Central since he quits after The Joker kills his wife during no mans land.

But yes a show that has The GCPD, the mafia, and Batman as the main focus would be far more interesting, its why Arrow not really doing more with the mob disappointed me and why I'm looking forward to daredevil.

Well deserved success, does the two stand for 2 billion dollars gone. 


But man Sony has killed it this generation even if I hate how much they'ved changed from the PS3 generation. (i mean they can't greenlight projects anymore.).


I wonder how much the playstation division will be effected by the cut backs hitting sony right now. The comapny has been doing poorly and it seems that Kaz Harai hasn't actually did anything to stop the bleed and the company has even made some very odd decisions. (giving Marvel the Animation and Merchandising rights to spider-man in favor of getting all the film profits was dumb in hindsight of where the property is at).


I also question how close The Order and Bloodborne are coming out in, you'd think they would space them out more espcaiily after seeing how well wolfenstien and watch_dogs preformed in that May release slot.




I really home Sony doesn't die as they push a much more art house experience in the game industry.

That's not his whole shtick, that's just a part of his character that gets overused in video games.

That's completely false, but whatever. He was doing that long before he had a video game.

I believe you misunderstood me. I'm not saying that this was made up for video games, it just gets overused in video games.

Either Way deadpool is at his best when he's interacting with other heroes.



It gets over used in comics and TV as well. His whole thing on Ultimate Spider-man is he's the only one aware and can interrupt web heads fourth wall breaks.




His most recent apperance in Deadpool, its not his only trick but its a pretty defining character trait and the movie would be less without it.

I think Deadpool has great potential, but having Zach Morris-Saved By The Bell-moments would ruin it. Perhaps he can be omnipotent and know what is going on with all the X-Men (and even the world that was changed by Wolverine going back), but if he said stuff like "Hey, I know this is a movie, watch me kill this guy," then it would ruin the experience of actually watching the movie, and it would ruin any other movies that he would be in.

But than you lose a big part of deadpool without breaking the fourth wall.

Sony is expecting a 2 billion loss this fiscal quarter. Its sad becuase they are actually pumping out some really awesome products from their Playstation and Mobile divisions right now, but can't get any traction in any market due to having crappy relations with the carriers and they can't spend their way to the relevance they need like Samsung and Nokia were able to do.

Best selling PC game of all time. One of the best selling console games. It's the ONLY game that has Nintendo-like evergreen status on not-Nintendo consoles: Xbox (and now PS3) Minecraft is in European and American sales Top 10 chart every single week since it was released.

The thing is there's no evidence yet that Minecraft will remain this big in the future.  Look at how big Wii Sports, Guitar Hero, Wii Fit, Nintendogs, and Angry Birds were last gen, and then look at them now.  A lot of Minecraft's current popularity is because of the same kids and casuals that helped make a lot of these series popular, but as these show, this audience has a low attention span and will move on when something new gets their attention.

Now yes there's a strong core audience to Minecraft that can still help it keep selling millions, but enough to make up 2.5 billion dollars worth?  That's going to big the big question which I don't see happening.  Especially with Microsoft in charge of it now, who has a history of gutting the studio's they buy and making the quality suffer as a result, which will make even the core audience of Minecraft eventually got sick of it as well.

But none of those above games have the Lego factor that Minecraft has. Between Merchandising and the flexibility of it as a eudcation and entertainment platform its pretty Valuable.


Not 2.5 billion worth it too me, but seeing what Nadella says this Acquisition was more about Microsoft as whole, and not just the xbox division.

What else is there, really? Unless Activision wanted to use it for Skylanders or something what real, prqctical use is there for that tech? (That's an honest question, maybe I'm missing something.)

Home and vehicle automation but most of that can be done wirelessly, connecting to speakers, and just laying with stuff like NFC tags.


Honestly other than thinking around or DIY apple Pay is really the biggest use case for nfc.


Paypal are already on defense





I'm an android guy but seeing apple pay and Passbook out do Google Wallet is pretty sad when Google should be far ahead of the game with this.

So Jones is confirmed the next series? I figured the Daredevil ending tease would be Danny Rand coming into Matt Murdock's office and asking him to take the case of a friend of his being wrongly imprisoned.


I'm wondering if Jones will start casting and filming in the Winter or wait till next spring.


I'm really just excited since Daredevil will be the first MCU Superhero with a secret Identity, other than Bruce Banner. (but i'm guessing Widow putting the shield files out there killed it).


It still amazes that were pretty early into the MCU AND Super-heroes and Villians are still a pretty new thing so far in context of the universe.

Anyone have the fear that Rhoedy might die early on in the movie, and man I hope we get cameos outside the main Avengers team.


So were in the timeline do you see the Netflix dropping, before or after Age of Ultron? I also wonder why Marvel plans to insert the after the credits stinger on Daredevil considering it all comes out at one time.

Once again, Microsoft adds nothing creative to the industry, but merely takes from it. At least Microsoft's shown that they'll never learn from their mistakes, as they once again buy a company after the creative staff has left, ensuring that the developer's worth is extremely limited (see also: Rare).  *sigh* I don't care about Minecraft, but I just think of all the new and creative software Microsoft could be developing with $2.5 billion that they've instead thrown away on a single property they'll never recoup their costs on.

isn't that the tech industry in a nutshell, startups making awesome **** to get aquired by bigger companies.




Also Rare's staff exodus started a tad bit before the buy off. Microsoft even let Rare make a ton of newer crap and none of it sold, but than their kinect work sold well. So gamers are onlt to blame.




Also Notch was the only one who left and anyone who actual follows the development of minecraft would know that he hasn't been involved in the development in any meaningful way since he started making prototypes, and was more of a spokesperson at this point.
