I'm a bit late but that Star Wars trailer has highlighted the issue that has affected both F-Zero, Star Fox and Wipeout: the technology, only recently, has caught up to the grand idea that their respective universes wanted to put out.

Not really one of the trademarks of the OT was that it was a used universe and that came across well in the 70s.

According to GMA the voice of the trailer is Andy Serkis, and the lighstabee sound after the falcon comes from Luke's Blue light saber lost at the end of empire strikes back.

The Falcon money shot right at the end.  The trailer does a confirm alot of things

Boyega, X-wing dude (Oscar Issacs), and Dasiy Ridley are the new big three, and all possibly force users and the new ball is their R2/chopper.

Adam Driver is the sith with the claymore lightsaber and the narration is being done by Max Von.

I bet the force awakens references these characters and by the end we see the Jedi Order start to be reestablished.

The last episode of Star Wars rebels for the year was good, didn't really push the plot that much further but had alot of character development for Ezra and seeing him wield the Dark side was pretty awesome and his power levels seem to be high.

For me it goes

The Flash> Agents of Shield>Arrow>Gotham.

The Black looks more like the new 52 Daniel West reverse flash, and it may be sometype of speed force/time travel corruption.

I'm still going with J'son since its someone who's supposed to be important and well known.

The Agents of shield spoiler is in line with what nearly everyone had been speculating. While I don't think the city is Attalin, I do think that Terrgin mists are inside the diviner and the temple was were inyumans would receive their powers. Only two more episodes so I think the midseason ends with skye getting powered up.

Maybe I'm just being unreasonable but:

The Flash:  Oh my goodness. That episode was terrible.

While Arrow has it's silliness, there are just parts of this that are just ridiculous beyond all comprehension. The whole point of the flash is that he is fast, so why the hell does he insist on taking punches?? He should be untouchable!! He should see every single blow and projectile in super slow motion. Why not just get the hell out of the way?

So this week he fights DC's version of Colossus. Pretty cool idea. So why try to strong arm the super strong metal guy? Why did he insist on holding onto the flagpole??? He is being smeared all over the walls and he refuses to let go of the flagpole to make it stop?

So the solution? Flash uses a supersonic punch which would apparently overpower the steel guy. That sounds awesome. Something new, breaking new ground. Let's see what they do about this. Takes his run up, flies through the air and lands the blow. Nice effect. Looked pretty good. Fake Colossus is grounded and dazed for a few seconds, but gets back up to roflstomp Barry with not even a mark on his face from where a blow moving at supersonic speeds landed mere seconds before. AND IRIS KNOCKS HIM OUT WITH A SINGLE PUNCH TO THE CHIN!!!! WHAT THE HELL???

Did no one watch this after editing to see how stupid it looks? This should have been a fantastic showpiece. First supersonic punch. It should have had a real impact. Been memorable. I was laughing and crying at the same time. I really hope the writers get their act together and realize that the protagonist of this show has super speed and is not the Hulk. Stop making him try to fight like it.

You seem like an unfun person. Most people seemed to love the punch bad editing aside, but if we had a show about the flash realistically it wouldn't be much of a show. Were you one of those guys complning why thor who went toe to toe with the destroyer was on even footing with the Iron Man Armor.

I kinda feel Joss is being looked at for Episode 8 if JJ. Abrams is not coming back. Also, we know how much Joss would want to do a StarWars movie (he owns 6 lightsabers). And maybe, just maybe we could get Spielberg for episode nine. /dreams

8 and 9 already ha e a director in rian Johnson.

AJ Edwards is apparently in talks with Lucasfilm about doing a spin-off film about Mace Windu.

http://makingstarwars.net/2014/11/terrence-malick-mace-windu-star-wars-spin-film/

We know that the currently in development spin-off movies are probably focused on Kenobi and Boba Fett and will probably take place during the Purge or in the case of fett after Return. So seeing a film that can only take place during the clone wars or earlier is interesting.

Star Wars Rebels has been really good, but I fear for the pacing of the upcoming episodes. So far we know that the series will be 16 episodes in the first season so the break down seems to be.

the pre-releases shorts - one episode
spark of rebellion- two episodes
rest of the series is 13.

Now having thirteen episodes isn't a bad thing, but only being Half an hour really hurts some of the pacing problems, especially when two of the already released seven are arguably filler.

Now with that said tonight's episode Empire Day was actually really well done, though. Will be intresting to see if the speculation is true for upcoming plot points. Ezra's dad is Rex from the Clone War, and Fulcrum is Ashoka Tano also of Clone Wars

We should probably get some more light hearted fun episodes later this season, but it seems like the showrunners want Arrow to be the depressing batman to Flash's superman so to speak.

I'm sorry, if you are going to call and episode "The Brave and The Bold" then it needs to channel Batman: The Brave and the Bold. In particular the Music Meister episode. (I put a Youtube in but I have no sound here so I can't pick the right one)

Brave and the Bold was th name of a DC Comics Team Up book that paired different characters together, so the title makes sense. The Batman series was called Brave and the Bold becuase the Ot series was Batman team up before expanding out. and the fact that alot of the Brave and The Bold took alot from the Silver Age era of comics.

Plus Arrow is far two serious to do it, see how Ranbow rider is a emotion controller now.

Its unfortunate that they're two serpeate episodes instead of a really larger two parter.

Google is so slow when it comes OTAing everything. Seems like most of the google apps have been given the material design makeover for me, only holdouts are Youtube, Google Calendar, and Maps.

Youtube's Music service is called Music Key.

You didn’t just watch "All About That Bass" 200+ million times on YouTube. You watched Meghan Trainor perform it live for the first time ever and later with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. You used the song in tens of thousands of your videos, like covering it with an upright bass. Your views helped put the song at the top of theBillboard Hot 100 for weeks. And that’s all just for one song. You've watched, shared, remixed, invented, parodied and whatevered your favorite songs, making YouTube the ultimate place for artists and fans to connect. To celebrate all that music and unlock new ways to enjoy, we’re making it easier to find new music on YouTube and rock out to old favorites. Plus, we’re starting the launch of a new subscription service that lets you watch and listen to music without ads, in the background or offline.A new home just for musicStarting today, you’ll see a new home just for music on your YouTube app for Android, iOS and on YouTube.com that shows your favorite music videos, recommended music playlists based on what you’re into and playlists of trending music across YouTube. You can find a playlist to perfectly fit your mood, whether that’s a morning motivators playlist or Boyce Avenue YouTube Mix. Check out the newest songs from channels you subscribe to, like FKA twigs or Childish Gambino. Or quickly find the songs you’ve played over and over and over again.

Full albums in high quality audio that are easy on your bandwidthIf a song exists in this world, you can probably find it on YouTube. But until today you couldn’t easily find and play full albums. In the coming days, you'll be able to see an artist’s discography on YouTube, and play a full album with both their official music videos and high-quality songs our music partners added to YouTube.

You’ve asked us for ways to listen to music without ads, to keep playing music videos even if you lock the screen or start using another app, and to play music even if you’re not connected to the Internet. That’s why today we're introducing YouTube Music Key beta, a monthly subscription service starting with the promotional price of $7.99/month (discounted from $9.99/month) that will give you all that—ads-free music, background play and offline viewing. It will also include a subscription to Google Play Music, with 30+ million songs, expert-curated playlists, and in the coming days, the ability to watch many YouTube official music videos right from the app. Thanks to your music videos, remixes, covers, and more, you’ve made YouTube the biggest music service on the planet. Really confusing that they have two separate services yet one of the services gives you access to both.

Just started watching selfie last week. :P

Also I don't think its Atillian which is a red herring,  I think its Orollan the lost inhuman city that doesn't have to do a lot with Black Bolt and is in a cold war with them.

That is actually an issue I have with the show as well. I chalk it up to his old way of life taking hold from time to time. But it is a bit off when the actor has banged virtually every available "attractive" woman on the show. Makes the show less like a superhero show and more like a soap opera/drama. I blame CW for that offense.

But a superhero show is a soap Opera/Drama.

I got caught up with all of rebels and bought the season pass. This show is way better than Clone Wars so far and honestly should be a hour long compared to being half an hour. My favorite two episodes so far have been the last two the first one bringing in the Inquisitor and the second one at the imperial academy

Had a chance to see big hero six , but opted for interstellar, will try to get a crew or a girl to see six.

Isn't the problem is that the story of Korra would be better positioned if the books were rearranged in different order.

It sounds good, I'm glad they didn't got with "An Ancient Fear" which was rumored to one of the pending titles for the series. From most of the rumors and spoilers the title is as appropriate as the fear one, but has the added throw back of being similar to a new hope. Alot of people tend not to like the title but it could be attack of the clones bad.

The rumor is we should be getting the first teaser next month, with the full first trailer tied to the super bowl.

Forgot to update the thread but at NYCC Lucasfilm announced a fourth ongoing comic book series entitled Star Wars: kanan which takes place directly after he leaves the Jedi temple and focuses on his life before meeting Hera in a new dawn.

Its a smart move to capitalize on the somewhat success of Rebels, and Allie the fans thoughts that we were going to get nothing but OT set stories until Force Awakens is out.

I really want to know about Battlefront and the first spin-off film, My guess were going to see the first footage of Battlefront next month at whatever Spike TV is doing, but from a Campaign perceptive wonder whats up.

Technically I didn't purchase it but I know one of the early Christmas gifts I have are Advanced Warfare and AC Unity.

148
Why would they need to sex her up? Barring any flashbacks to Jones Time as Jewel which most likely won't happen, Jessica Jones thing is being sort of Average compared to the likes of Black Window or Sue Storm. Seeing as we know her series is based on Alais you really don't need to sex her up. She might dress up for a date or two, but for the most part she's sort of Frumpy, though most of it seems to be half her job, half her personal issues of the implied rape during her first superhero outing.

Its the same thing with Carol Danvers to be honest.

149
Eden Cher would be a good Jesicca Jones choice and it never occurred to me until seeing the suggestion on GAF.

Not really a recent purchase by me, but I learned that my mom just bought me Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Assissan's Creed Unity for christmas. I guess the marketing train does work.
