Is a mockup based on what other people have said really a prediction?

I can see all three of them having cool evolutions. I wasn't a fan of Oshawott either (who had a similar circus/aquarium theme to Popplio) and couldn't see how its design could go in a good direction, but Dewott is friggin' amazing and one of my favourite Pokemon designs. They fudged it up a bit with the final evolution, but the point is all three of them can go in any number of good direction from here. I can see myself choosing either of the three after seeing how things shake out.Oshawott was based on the fisherman/merchant/samurai clothing and armor stylings.
My general assumption is that Nintendo will cheap out on the specs because that's what they done for a while now. And they will prioritize architecture that favours their own development and not put any real effort into addressing what third parties want. Then they will get dick support and only diehard Nintendo nuts will give a ****.I'm saving this for future reference.
There is a certain level of effort that is required to compete and Nintendo just doesn't like doing that. Mix that with their notorious stubbornness and penny-pinching attitude and odds are we'll get the Wii U 2. We don't know for sure and I'm still very interested in finding out the exact details of the NX but I'm not optimistic because Nintendo has given me no reason to be. Hell, they seem no different today then they did when the Wii U launched. If they were getting their act together we would already see the difference.
The ****? I thought I wrote out a whole response to this...Mmm. Well, it seems like you're not really the target audience for this sort of thing. This game has FF-like turn-based combat if you like the first three entries, but it's vastly different from that franchise IV and onwards. If you like Sin Megami Tensei, this is more up your alley.Well, how about Dragon Quest? It's more similar to that, in some ways, than Final Fantasy. As long as you're excited about something totally strange (and craving Wii U RPGs, I know, I'm in the same boat), then I look forward to seeing what you think!
Never played any Persona or SMT, or any Atlus games for that matter haha. It's been a while since I gamed at all, but did play some Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem and a few of the GameCube RPGs. We'll see I guess, it'll probably be fine. Can definitely learn to overlook designs I don't care much for, especially since the rest of Tokyo Mirage looks really stylish. Knowing absolutely nothing about the whole J-pop stuff probably means it'll be extra bizarre to me, but frankly I'm excited for something kinda 'out-there'.
Personally I'm interested because I like turn-based Final Fantasy combat, which is hard to find on Wii U, and this game looks gorgeous. But man do some of the outfits look dumb haha! Oh well, not trying to hate on anyone here so I hope whether you get the version with swimsuits or without them, it'll be a cool game for everyone.Mmm.
