Poor Sony.

First I all, I work at the Metreon in San Francisco a "mallternative" at least that's what Sony called it when they owned it. Of course Sony failed at another thing so the mall got sold to WestField a few months ago. Of course, the Sony store and the Playstation store are still here for now at least.

So I was walking down by the Sony digital solutions store the other day and I saw two guys walking out looking more than disapointed. One guy looked to the other and said "Man, you remember when Sony used to be innovative?"

that's what it means....get everyone excited over looking at the dates and trying to figure everything out. But in the meantime, you all know when the new games are coming out. It's simply NOA's way of having fun.

Althought jokingly I said Oct 2nd due to it being the first monday missing on the list (look at page one) and multiple sites have quoted the same thing. I claim to crack the code first!!! Wait I just said there was no code....ok...so there's no code, but if there is and I solved it, then yes there is a code...but no, there isn't.......I'll throw out a date...Oct 15th. Why not.

PGC should start a pool. Whoever gets the right date wins a prize...maybe big maybe little, who knows!

  1.  To read or study carefully and attentively: pored over the classified ads in search of a new job.
  2. To gaze intently; stare.

Maybe they mean to gaze intently at the press release. Ya know if you look close enough and kind of cross your eyes you can see an image of the release date. Just like those 3D pictures...you have to look "beyond" the press release. (like until september)

Or, I have been told by a guy that takes out the trash for a girl who's brother shines shoes for a guy that works next to NOA headquarters (so you know it's accurate!) if you meditate while staring at an image of the Wii-mote, you will fall into a daze and Mario will secretly tell you the release date. The trick is you have to keep staring at it...til....ummmm, september.

Although Q4 starts on Oct 1st, right??

All of those release dates are on a monday, except October 2, November 20 and November 27 don't have any release dates.

November 20th and 27th are too late.

Oct 2nd? Wii shall see!

How about.....

After disappearing for several years Bowser shows up in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi rush to go and fight him. During the fight Bowser is almost beaten and runs off to where his castle was. Mario and Luigi chase him, all the sudden Bowser hits a remote and a big gigantic pipe pops up out of the ground knocking Mario and Luigi out.

Mario wakes up in time to see Bowser kidnapping Luigi and jumping into the pipe, the pipe is now slowly going back into the ground. Mario, in a panic to save his brother, jumps into the pipe and ends up in outer space. Once there he realizes why Bowser hasn't been up to his normal tricks, he's built up his forces and castles on other planets with the intent of a full force invasion on the Mushroom Planet!!

It is up to Mario to save his brother and the planet!!!

On a side note, once you finish the game you get to replay it as Luigi saving Mario!

Maybe you can chose a character name instead. For example, I chose Tiger, and my buddies chose Hawk, Lion, and Eagle. It would announce your nickname as opposed to your actualy name. Similar to the arcade game "The Grid".

Seems most people here don't care for any of the games, perfect. So all the people that do like those games but weren't planning on buying a Wii might give it a second thought.

Godfather is a surprise and it's good to see an "M" title show up.

Ya my Roomate has the 360 so I get to play it quite a bit. It's always been like that between me and my friends, seems all of us have at least one of the systems so I get to play them all.

Right now we've got.
DOA4 - kinda weak game, not to thrilled
Perfect Dark Zero - very let down by this game
King Kong - actually a pretty fun game
Quake 4 - pretty bad ass
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - I love this game, my fav that he's got
Condemned - Haven't really played to much, but looks interesting

Overall not the best selections of games, but hey he bought them all with the premium 360 for $500 off of a starving student, so not a bad deal.

Two games that I am looking forward to are Darkness and Dead Rising. Both look like pretty interesting games.

I loved that game....hell I might just go home and play it when I get off work. It is the only game that I actually had to put down and stop playing for a while. Not because I was stuck, or bored, but because it freaked the hell out of me.

I was playing and got to a boss and my friend hit "mute" on the remote. The sound killed off and it said mute on the screen. So I pause the game, turn around and called him a jackass. He looked at me kind of crazy and said "what?" Then I remembered, "wait, we don't have a remote for this TV" Unpaused the game and it went back to normal.

Gotta love it

OK, kind of a weird site. Now I'm not sure how they are doing their updating. Common knowledge says that they do not know how many Xbox360's were sold in the past five minutes. They probably take a week long sales number and divide it up or something, who knows. but it'll be interesting to see what happens when the PS3 and Wii come out. Be sure to go and click on "Pick the Wii" right now it's at 51%!!

Oh and according to thier site, 30 Xbox360's were sold in the time it took me to write this.

So here's somethings I'm starting to wonder. I'm sure they'll set it up so the games that you download from the VC can only be played on your system. Otherwise people will just be bootlegging and selling them all over the place.

Now what happens if for some reason your system goes bad. Although I've never had a nintendo system die on me before, say my buddy spills a beer on it, I punch him in the face and make him buy me a new one....do I need to punch him some more and make him rebuy the games?

Or will it know that I purchased them and reinstall them for me?

Hell are the games even stored on the machine or will they be in an online account type thing?

It would be pretty cool if they were in an online account. Then you could go to your buddy's house hop on their Wii, type in your password and play the games you purchased.
