I've never understood why, in this day and age, is it not registered when I pop it in the drive / slot of the machine tied to my "account"? Of course it is nice being able register ALL the systems and games purchased for use in my household (ie., a lot). 
I never confirmed this but I always believed that once a code is used it can't be used again, so I just toss the little slips. Not that I ever sell any games anyway... And when buying a used game I sure don't expect to be able to use the code. Another reason to do it automagically and not give out coins for used games that have had the coins redeemed. Tragic, I know.
I also don't see this happening. Or if it did it wouldn't last long.

I don't like this model, but I sure don't see them following the path blazed by Apple with iTunes and the iPhone / iPad. I can (and do) authenticate a handful of devices to use media and software bought under my account. Super convenient, awesome value added.
I could see that being used for certain 3DS Ware or DSi Ware titles and *should* be standard on VC software, but for boxed, retail games not so much.
At any rate, I'll be sticking with physical carts thank-you-very-much.

I don't mean to be rude, but I won't be buying Baldur's Gate either.
It would be fantastic if there were a way to buy a game outside of the device the store is currently solely attached to, like directly from a link at the bottom of a review to the Nintendo web store. Other than not being designed to browse more than a couple dozen titles, no screen shots or preview videos, that's the only real shortcoming from my perspective. If you were able to buy through a website, none of how the Wii store works would matter at all.

I'm not impressed with the "Virtual Console" service as a whole. What it should be (and would be if Iwata-san would just do what I say already :p ) is a set of emulators with a snazzy virtual console and library UI. Then just sell bareassed ROMs that could be authenticated for play on all your devices. The 3DS is fully capable of emulating up to the SNES. Why can't I take the "virtual console" copy of Super Ghouls & Ghosts I bought on the Wii and run it in my "virtual console" on the 3DS and eventually the Wii U?

Troll, Nintendo isn't selling a game titled "Holy Bible" (so why are we discussing it as if they are?) and even if they were the name would not have much impact on my kids because none of them are named "Holy Bible". There is no possibility of, "Hey Holy Bible, here's your game! Lets watch it!" One of your mistakes is assuming I object to the content. Today is the first day I learned anything about this turd game. Seeing the name on Steam was enough to make me say WTF I don't want to see that ****.
Think of it like a sex song that is about a girl that has your Mom's name (or sisters, grandmas, you get the idea?). I suppose you'd sing along, with her in the car. I sure as hell wouldn't. That's gross dude.

3DS enhancements? Gyro control? Um.... other stuff? It's always been a 2D sprite game Even the battles.
Not saying you should be interested, but to not be because of some mysterious, vague, non-existant 3DS only feature seems a little silly to me.
B&W is easily the best since the original, but I'm not interested in a midway sequel. Too soon for me. Hell I haven't even finished Skyward Sword.
