bonzi buddy is a stupid little purple gorrilla thing that swings around your computer desktop.  you can tell it what to say, play games, and it even tells bad jokes.  it has other features too, but i forgot them.  all you need to know is, don't do it.

NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS!!!!! it totally screwed up my old computer.  it logged on to the internet automaticlly (no phones then, now i have broadband), and never went away.  it loaded itself onto almost every program on the computer so it was near impossible to get rid of.  it was one of the reasons we got a new computer.  now my mom is paranoid about downloading from the net.  anyone else get Bonzi BUddy?  i'd like to hear oter way this legal virus messed up your computer.

ok, somebody a while back said the ending to signs was crap.  i loved it.  maybe you don't get it.  the guy( can't rememebr his name) is losing faith in GOd because of the aleins, and more and more bad things seem to happen.  the scene at the climax where the camera zooms out so you can see a room filled with water was great.  Get it?  the water thing wasn't just a coincidence... and umm, little boy (the only name i can remember is Bo, weird) was having a severe asthma attack because they forgot is inhaler in the basement.  being completely freaked out by the hand on his throat triggered it.  so when the poison gas was fed into his nose, he didn't breathe it in because his lungs were blocked...coincidence?  if you didn't get that, you're an idiot.  if you didn't like that, you're weird.  vene i probabl;y don't understand everything that happened in the movie, and if i did, it would be  even better.

General Chat / This boards are TOO strict!
« on: April 29, 2003, 12:00:59 PM »
just gotta say.  i havent been to any other forums.  this was my first, i i'm stickin with it.  i love it here.  first, i went the PGC for the reveiws, then preveiws and immperessions, then news, editiorials, mailbag (which should happen more often), and finnally forums.  Now, i'm spending all my time on the forums, and and can't get off.  i'm new here, so i don't know the old forums, but i like the new ones just fine.  and about the mail bag thing, i know you guys are busy and mailbags aren't really your biggest concern, and this is my favorite website for videogame news, so, you know, never mind the mailbag thing.

americasarmy.com is a place where one can download and play army sims and other such things.  anyone done it?  it want to know if it's reliable, safe, and fun.  please mention maybe some of the games you've played, what they're like, and any other experiences, good or bad, you've had with the site.

General Gaming / Ranting about the days of old
« on: April 29, 2003, 10:14:42 AM »
jus to tell you, i'm 13 and i've played wolfenstine.  but, last time i played it (couple years ago now) it seemed too hard.  it's not because i suck (that bad), but because older games really do require much more skill.  and jumping around does make things much easier.  but it's really the player who decides to jump or not.  the same goes for cheats.  there are people today that complain that modern day games have too many cheats, ok, then don't use them.  just thought i'd say that.  i also (kinda) like who in wolfenstine, you don't aim up and down, if i remember correctly, you just aim side to side.  i like it becuse it's not like todays FPS where you walk forward with one control stick, and look around with the other.  just one's enough, especially for not talented players like me.  plus, there were alot of actually hidden passageways in wolfenstine, alot i'd find by luck.  the end.

anyone know if the wolfenstine for GBA is any good, or a huge waste of money.

i know i'm the one who started this, bu ti'm pretty sure you have to get over 100 coins in each cup to unlock the special cup.  but that's a total of 20 courses, i heard there were 40.  i'm guessing that means mirror images of each course, or are there only 20?

Nintendo Gaming / Do you feel the GC is slowly dying away..?
« on: April 28, 2003, 03:18:58 PM »
you know what i hate.  people who complain about the amount of games for the gamecube compared to another system, which is a reason for negativity towards the cube.  sure, you need some games for every genre, because every player is different, but it doesn't really matter who many games there are for a system as long as there's enough.  "oh there are only 100 somethin games for this system"  okay, go and buy all those games, then complain.  that's the thing.  Ps2's got more games, but you're not going to have all of them.  i bet on average, most xbox, ps2, and cube owners have the same amount of games, although the selection on a certain system is very different.  in my opinion, the cubes got the best.  which ones?  the first party ones.  i agree with thecouch123, as long as Nintendo kepps making the games, i'll keep buying them.

Nintendo Gaming / Question about Zelda and the bonus disk
« on: April 28, 2003, 03:12:10 PM »
you get the bonus disk if you preordered the game.  seeing as the game is already out, preordering it would be really really stupid.  there are probably ways to get it, asking your local gamestores if they have it, buy it off a friend, buy the N64 version....really, the bonus disk isn't that great.  it's just like playing OoT on gamecube.  it's truthfully worse than the N64 version, i think, because of controls.  don't break your back trying to get it.

god. that scared me.  don't know why, i shold have expected something like that.

Nintendo Gaming / Why not a wait a while for the second zelda?
« on: April 28, 2003, 01:47:26 PM »
gotta go with silks.  wait til the next console.  as for that zelda, i've always liked the idea of cel shading Koholint (link's awaking) and being able to switch in and out of the wind fishes dream (like the light world dark world thing)
