Vudu, I give you a point when you say something clever or funny that contributes to a conversation.  I take a point away when you are being a jerk.  =P

(this has only occurred like 3-5 times tops)

I thought he was always being a jerk?

No way, points are fun.  Unless they become serious, which would just be lame because people would start to cry over them and stuff.

It's kinda gotten to that point already for some

Update told me  (in a squeaky little voice)  it had to do with if the game requires an update it will say so in the disc channel and if not the game name will show in the disc channel so that you can know right off if you need to update your system to play the game.

I think there should be a point to it otherwise it's just something that will be used for a while, while it's new and then over time not so much and people will be wanting to get points to do something where no points are to be given.

Like give points for every 100 posts a person makes.

a points for each poll participated in.

Up the number of points needed to be turned in to use them, instead of 3 for something, make it 30 and so on.

Make it possible for everyone to take advantage of what is available and just just the few that are on very good terms with Mods or know how to "work the system"

I have a ext 500 gig hard drive that I got for 116.99 which is now listed at amazon.com for 142.47.  Why the price is higher I don't know.

Felt that it was time for a change, as much as I love Mr. Yellow Fang Face, I am getting a little tired of seeing him at the moment, so a change from:

I have changed it to:
Which is from the cover of Stephen King's The Stand.

I haven't seen any of the movies from the Oscar's.  I don't remember the last time I went to the theater to see a movie, but I think it was Spider-Man back in 2002, it seems like that was the last time I saw a theatrical showing and not on DVD.

I got it Wednesday.  I haven't played it because I still have the first one to complete, then I will play the next two then finally I will get around to Apollo Justice.  I am a slow player... as in I play the game a while then don't play it for a long while, while I go and do something else.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Dragon Quest Swords
« on: February 22, 2008, 04:57:53 AM »
The game isn't just about slashing enemies to kill them, some of them require more that just slashing them, as in hitting their attacks back at them, or even hitting some enemies back so they take out enemies you can't reach.

The game is on rails, only in town to you have full control of where you can walk, in the field you can go forward and backwards and very little bit you can look to your left or right.  By default the you will slash around the middle of the screen but you can select anywhere on the screen where you want to slash, which is what you will need to do to get the enemies out of the default line of attack.  You defend with your shield (B Button) and your shield does wear down and break up as you use it, but it's not a real quick thing, and you can buy/find item to fully replenish your shield.

Leveling up is easier/quicker than normal Dragon Quest games.

You can only change equipment in town, so if you find some new stuff in the field you might want to go back to town and change it, the only penalty is having to play the level again, which isn't a big thing because if you complete a level and come back it's like playing it again fir the first time, except the treasure chests don't replenish themselves like they did in Joker (at least I haven't found any that did)

All puts all post on your screen I think, really long threads don't have the option, like ones with 127 pages.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: LostWinds - WiiWare makes its appearance

It's depressing that such a creative game like this is on Wii Ware, where the majority of Wii owners won't ever know it exists, while Wii continues to get swamped with retail releases consisting of bags of urine on the store shelves.

A beacon of sunshine you got there Infy!

lol <3
