The N64 was the only system ever, in my life, where I got all the first day launch titles.  Well actually I got one and my brother bought me the other for some reason.

I want to know where all the controllers are, Wii and classic because I can't find them anywhere online (I rarely shop in a brick and mortar because they are out of my daily way.

I got mine today and hooked them up, which was a pain because I had to move my tv all over the place just so I could see the imputs under the botton of my tv.  I have a flat widescreen tv on a stand.  I ordered mine on 11/16.

I steal my images from other places if I like them, then load them up in my photobucket and then use them.  I can make my own animated ones, but I have had problems getting trans to work so I don't bother

Nintendo Gaming / RE: NES/SNES pads on your Wii
« on: November 30, 2006, 02:53:38 AM »
Nintendo or someone else should just release USB version of SNES, NES, N64, GEN, and TG16 controllers, that way people can actually play a game with the controller it was meant to be played with.  They should also be relatively cheap.

1157
Final Fantasy 3 (SNES) had bathrooms that you could use.  Don't think it served any gameplay purpose.

1158
There's always the other VC (PC ) for SoM 2, and it's already translated, too!

General Gaming / RE: Sony getting hit Hard lately
« on: November 30, 2006, 01:34:43 AM »
I like how Sony is trying to downplay it (before the launch and after) by not saying how many systems they would have available, almost if they forgot that there are firms that track sales of systems and stores would come out and say how many they sold (or didn't sell).  Ignorance is bliss, but Sony really takes the cake.

Children of Mana is horrible.  I hate it, and stopped playing it.  Legend of Mana was just as bad.  I actually liked Sword of Mana, but it wasn't anything special.

Hey Rab. =D

I am getting Dawn of Mana, but I think I will pass on the Mana tactics game.

If I have to change all my music files then I'm not going to bother, this is just as bad as the PSP, most of my songs are legally downloaded tracks, and they aren't playable on PSP, so how is the PSP gonna be a Ipod killer?

When I ordered Mcleods Daughter's on DVD for my Mom I used HMV's online store.  They were very reliable, didn't have a problem the 3 times I ordered through them.  Season 1 of Mcleods Daughters is just not out in USA and I got it for her last year from Australia.

General Gaming / RE: Old GameBoys and lines...
« on: November 29, 2006, 01:55:05 PM »
I turned on my old brick GB (not recently mind you, but a year or two ago) and had several veritcal lines of dead black pixels.  My GB was never mistreated so I guess it's just the devil in the works.

But with my GB Advance SP I don't really care, at least until that starts to go funky.

I got an e-mail from nintendo sometime since Monday (at least I think, too lazy to go look) saying that mine have shipped.

I got my Wii today, it's so small and cute.  The controller is smaller than I thought it would be, not too small, just smaller.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: paying for VC games
« on: November 27, 2006, 11:56:32 AM »
I have both Zelda Collectors disc for GCN, so the only games I can't readily play without downloading in via VC will be A Link to the Past, and the Gameboy games, but seeing as I have a Gameboy Advance SP I can play all the gameboy version.  The only Zelda game I would remotely consider would be A Link to the Past, and even that would be a very hard sale.

I am more inclined to give a game a go that I missed in the past, not one that I can play so easily.

My Wii shipped from Wal*Mart.com yesterday, but I can't track it right now.  I don't know if I'm getting it today or tuesday.  the email says it will arrive 11/28 but does that mean my Will will reach me that day, or is that just a date when they are expecting more systems?  Oh the confusion.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Official *I DON'T HAVE A WII* thread!
« on: November 21, 2006, 08:42:23 AM »
the problem is that pre-ordering was almost impossible because how Microsoft fked over the retail stores so bad last year by under-delivering and stores themselves not using common sense, knowing full well that launch day supplies are always slim, that this time around they chose not to take any advance orders and most stores still aren't.  Those that did take pre-orders raped their customers by forcing them with useless stuff, gamestop especially with their warranty thing.  That was my main contention with thier bundle.  if they hadn't forced that I would have done my best to get a pre-order with gamestop.com, but I went with walmart.com yesterday and procured a order.

they are acting like the intial stock is th eonly wii systems to ever be manufactured.

Yoshi is the best Nintendo character ever, aside from Link and Zelda.
