I never thought I'd see myself refering to F-Zero as a dormant franchise, but, well, it's been nine long years since GX. Now that we've got a more traditional controller to play with, if there ever was a time for new F-Zero, this would be it.

Not so sure about that. Soon after GX's release Shiggy lumped it in with Starfox Assault saying that letting third parties' hands on their franchises had less than pleasing results.
Starfox Assault I can understand, but FZGX? To this day I'm still not sure wether or not he's actually played GX or was just on something that particular day
