There's another website selling OoT replicas and other ocarinas inspired by Zelda - http://www.stlocarina.com/choose-your-ocarina-for-zelda-fans.html
I don't have any personal experience with them but they look and sound quite nice based on the demos. They also cost a little less than the Songbirds so they might work as a better entry point for ocarina beginners.

If you want an ocarina, you should look into these.

Lately, with all the various pre-order bonuses for Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, there has been a lot made of the fact that some countries are getting a real ocarina with the game. Now, they are basically cheap plastic instruments, but for those of you who really want a real Zelda ocarina, you should think about purchasing one of these.
A few years ago, I ordered an Ocarina of Time from a website called Songbird Ocarinas. The first time I found out that these existed was from a gaming magazine ad around 2002. Anyway, I finally ordered one back in '07, and it really is fantastic.

The Ocarina of Time
Back then, there were two styles of Zelda Ocarina’s to choose from: a standard one, which covered one octave and an extended range, with two additional notes. As of right now, the base model is the extended range one, although slightly remodeled, by the looks of it. The new deluxe version is a 12 hole ocarina, with a 21 note range. It also has a silver band and Triforce gem stones near the mouth piece, just like the one from the game.

Songbook
The ocarinas all come with songbooks that are easy to read and learn. The books cover a lot of Zelda songs from Ocarina of Time, as well as some other non-gaming songs, such as Happy Birthday, Amazing Grace, etc.
The build quality of these are fantastic and feel nice when holding them, the sound also is nice, and once you can play a few songs well, it sounds even better. My ocarina came with a small carry case with the Triforce logo on it, I assume that this is still the case with the newer ones.

Carry Case
It is also possible to buy the Fairy Ocarina, although it only comes in the extended range model. If you love Zelda and want a real Ocarina of Time, you cannot get much better than these.
Here are a couple of songs I recorded using my ocarina.
Wow! Ten more community members in only a couple days! Seems everyone is gearing up for the release of the eShop and new game announcements for the 3DS. I'm excited and hope that this burgeoning 3DS community continues to grow and, more importantly, get utilized with more multiplayer goodness in the near future.
Why does Nintendo hate America?
Also, Traveller, I'm going to be in Sydney for about a month here in a few weeks. Have you ever seen any of these show up in any second hand stores? Or are there any good game stores in general you'd recommend (especially anywhere that might have cool Nintendo crap that never made it to the US)?
This controller is retro rad!

For quite some time now, Club Nintendo of Japan has been offering a special Super Famicom controller for the Wii. Back in September of 2010, Europe also was blessed with a replica controller for 7000 stars . And finally Australian Nintendo fans were able to get their hands on one as of last April for a limited time, for the price of 3000 Stars on the rewards website.
The packaging is simple but effective, with the front displaying the controller through a window, and the back featuring art and stylings similar to packaging from the Super Nintendo era.
The controller itself feels exactly as you would expect, although when comparing it to an original, there are a few slight differences. The replica has more of a textured feel to the plastic than the original, and the colour of the printed text on the controller is lighter. The controller is compatible with any virtual console or Wii title that allows you to use the classic controller, although some will not work simply because the SNES controller lacks analog sticks.
As a reward and replica controller, this is just about perfect. For Australian and European Nintendo fans, this should be a must have.
