Chris Paul is president of the NBPA. I vaguely remember reading that signing the contract he did, despite giving up an extra year, was partially symbolic. The ability for players to sign similar max/near-max contracts was a sticking point in negotiations. And if Paul didn’t get that contract, it’d make the players look weak. But yes, dude also wanted to get paid.

Damn unions.

But serious that makes sense, and I can't say I wouldn't do the same.

Yeah, it's a known fault in the hardware, to my understanding.  Not sure why it hasn't been fixed, but it would require them to redesign the sensors or something.

I'm not sure how they can move CP3. I think I saw on Twitter that he was interested in the Heat and Jimmy Butler, but even then his contract is waaay up there.

Lol, good luck! At lease the kids are out of school?

That's true.  I think Aladdin is at 57% on RT as well.

Lion King is currently sitting at a 55 on Metacritic and a 57% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gush would probably be the word.

Yeah, I think that's the word.

Another thing about Keanu's acting is that he's clearly in a lot of pain for the entire film and his speech reflects that very well.

Nintendo could've resurrected GameCube Purple and chose not to.

Was the ability to dock really worth taking out? I get it if the thing won't fit in the regular one, but surely it'd work with some 3rd party solutions.

You're assuming Nintendo's idea of 'handheld only', literally means it won't be capable of TV output. Remember, they also claimed the 3DS didn't support SDHC cards and the NES Joy-Cons were only for use with Nintendo Online's NES titles. I have a very strong suspicion the Lite will indeed be capable of outputing with 3rd party connectors, but only time will tell for sure.

Well, the reveal video stated plainly that the Switch Lite "Won't connect to a TV".  Now, I don't know if they've physically removed the capability or not, but they didn't say something like "No dock support" or leave it at "Handheld only".  But the "out of the box" could be implied I suppose.  You're right that we'll just have to wait see; I'm just not betting on it.

Judging from past instances of what Nintendo claimed their products could and couldn't do, and by my understanding of how the hardware works (it shouldn't be something that can simply be left out, I believe they'd have to go out of their way to specifically block it), I'd say chances are very reasonable the capability will be there. I have a strong feeling that if I'm right, the built-in controls won't work when outputing-- meaning, you'll need separate Joy-Cons, which is why they'd rather not promote that feature.

Your line of reasoning makes complete sense to me.  My only thing is that it would be pretty "Nintendo" of them to go in a disable that feature.  Whether it's to prevent the system from overheating or deter potential bricking from 3rd party hardware or just because.

Lol, the release date feels so soon! Like, it's not quite a summer release, and it's pretty far ahead of the holiday season.  But I guess it makes sense to get inventories ahead of all that.

Don't the cloud saves require Switch Online? I'm sure they'll need to work out a free option.

I don't like that they removed HD rumble, but I'm guessing that's for battery life?

I still wanna know if they fixed the control sick issue. Would be pissed of I had to send in my $200 console because my stick was drifting.

If they're gonna do it this year, alongside Pokemon, I would think an August/September reveal would be the way to go, with a November release.

Or, you know, **** me. Announce it right now.

I'll be a Soul Gem.  It's been a while since I played, but I remember those being useful for crafting, so I carried a lot of them.

Mulan has had such a storied development, that I was shocked to see the trailer and that it was still coming out this year.

They had to re-confirm songs and Mushu last year.  But I think the status of songs is that they won't be sung by the cast, and Mushu may or may not be a dragon.

John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum

I don't know what the opposite of "nit pick" is, but I could go through this movie and find so many things to pull out that I liked (unless that is also nit picking?).  Anyway, this movie is just as great as the first two.  I liked that John Wick finds himself on a different kind of mission in each movie.  There's always a survival edge to each film, but this one has him more on a "get from point A to point B" type mission with everyone always trying to kill him.  The acting is a lot of everyone around Keanu, but this is a good thing; he talks in one liners, which is a thing I love seeing.

Two things that weren't as great: excess use of breakaway glass, some kills were over-kills.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Honestly, a lot better than I thought it would be.  There were some emotional moments early on that I think were undeserved since I wasn't particularly attached to this version of Jean.  But the plot was fine.  Scott Summers was extremely derpy in the beginning, but really grew on me.  They also avoided the whole "make Magneto the villain" arc that they always do.  They get into it a little bit, but not quite all the way, which I liked.  Also, there was so much slow motion.  It was like a shampoo commercial at times.

That is a fun twist on the premise from the sequel.  I'm actually looking forward to seeing a more reserved Keven Hart without him having to be the straight man.

I'd like to think Kawhi has purposely not heard from teams until 6pm today for the sole purpose of being a stickler for the rules.

JJ Redick to the Pels should be pretty good for them.  I'm excited.

Men In Black: International

This feels like a pretty by-the-books MIB film.  The little alien side-kick wasn't nearly as annoying as I thought he would be and was actually pretty funny.  Other than that the movie doesn't really offend in any way, but doesn't stick out as being particularly great.  It's a good watch if you want laughs and action and have seen everything else.
