Actually, it's been destroyed countless times.  Japan's disaster recovery system is so well implemented that any natural or unnatural disasters that occur can be recovered from within 3 hours, and no one outside of the affected areas will know about it.

Ok, problems with that are: Ronald Reagon was the devil and Kelly Clarkson was the first American Idol but the LAST to put out an album. Loosers from later seasons put out albums first. Plus, she sucks.

BTW I'd like to nominate the DS's Q3-Q4 '05 US release line up for outstanding achievement in the field of fist.

But I think I see your point. MS is doing this because they want to morph the video game industry in to one that they know. Nintendo doesn't make computers so that would (theoretically) take them out, and they probably figure that they could beat Sony in a situation like that.
But I wouldn't count on consoles becomming computers. I'm sure they'll go in some other direction.
