Sounds like it was more EA decision and not Cryteks which could mean just about all EA games as well like Dead Space 3 for example.

The only thing that sells SYSTEM is the exclusives, and NIntendo should focus on it's own games.  Vita has plenty of multiplatform games yet it's still failing?  Why, the exclusive games ended up flopping.

By limiting the software to only a few titles per month right now is the best move possible for nintnedo because it'll ensure those titles get the best possible sales.  Nintendo's launch (23+ titles) was so much overkill that alot of titles didn't even break 50K (just about all EA ones sold less than that if you discount FIFA).

"People keep pushing this rumor because it sounds plausible. It's not happening."

Yet there's already games coming that are doing just that?  Any crossplay game is using the 3ds as an conroller already so the software is already wriiten so it's not the developers are going have to do extra work as the game already exists vs the whole dual gamepad thing.

The Gamepad standard pricing (based on the Japanese model is going be $150+) which means only %.01 of the people are going BUY an extra, which everyone would have to bring their WII U controllers over (which would be logically) if they had one to begin with.

On top of the availablity of the gamepad you're also going have to deal with power.  From reports earlier you already read about how it's costs half the power of the system just for 2 gamepads which means you can forget about 4 players playing on one WIIU with all gamepads.

No, I expect to see more 3ds/wii u crossplay titles then I would dual-gamepad ones.

"bus and shake my 3DS to get steps "  :) Gotta love us Amercian's can't even do 1000 steps per day :0.

I live in a city of 300K and still have a hell of a time getting anybody on the streetpass.  The one hit I get is usually at the mall/gamestop employee but other than that nadda.

? WTF?

Nintendo is just like anybody else and they approached multiple developers with cash or other "bribes" in hand.  Trine 2, Batman, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden, ect all appeared on the WII U because Nintendo themselves approached the publisher/developer.

Exclusive rights don't came cheap (monster hunter 4 must have costed a pretty penny but in ensured the failure of the Vita so it's going be worth it).

Tell me about it, ending up with two more PC titles thanks to steam sales today.  Torchlight 2 and Awesomenauts.

Tried making an list on backloggery going take me a couple more days, but I did make an dent anyhow--I got most of the current stuff updated.

Here's my list--most depressing is all those RTS on the PC that I have stock piled and a few PC RPG's like Witcher series.  Really have to start knocking some of them down.

LOL lolmonade isn't an gamer, he's an collector :).   95% unfinished games = epic failure.  My PC's % of unfinished games is pretty high because I had an 10+ year gap where I didn't have an gaming PC (even though I continued to purchase the games anyhow) but I think I can beat Lolmande's 1 beaten to 90 games ratio :0.

*Stop buying games and start finishing up my backlog of games starting from the 90's :(.*

*Stop playing fooking TF2*  Freaking breaking some sort of record on that game alone.

*Get more streetpasses for 3ds*  Only had 6 so far :(.  I need to attend the comic con or something else this year.

Nintendo's shouldn't had region lock==most likely I'm going have my 3DS hacked just because Sqaure's fooking me over on Bravely Default, which is like half the reason why I purchased an 3ds to begin with.

And privacy itself isn't anything new but Nintendo has to be more agressive compared to last generation.  Nintendo did state they were more than willing to "brick" systems if it detected privated versions now we have to wait and see.

Surprised to see Journey getting so many awards.  It's great but I've played demos that lasted longer.  1.5 hours makes an extremely short game.

Haven't played much of 2012 hits, most of them are still on my backlog minus a few like ME3 which I wouldn't give GOTY too, it's not an bad game but didn't have the cast like ME2 did.

So far I'm loving Trials Evolution, reminds me of excitebike back in the NES days--simple but extremely fun. :)

Also picked up Dust an Elysian Tale as well :0.

Nabbed Walking Dead (Steam) and Dragon Age Origin's UE (Steam) even though my backlog this generation alone is nearing 100+.

Picked up Mark of the Ninja after hearing about the great reviews (it's an 2d stealth game FYI) and it was on sale for 600MS points.

Also picked up Joe Danger 2: The Movie and Rayman 3 HD.

Not sure when I'm going get to any of them but at least they were on sale :0.

What generation of 3ds do you have?  The first ones had an hinge problem that was later fixed, most likely you're having issues because the hinge is loose.

You can send it to nintendo (should be free even if not under warranty, nintendo's pretty good about it since it was THEIR manufacturing defect) or you can try fixing it yourself.  My old DS had a similar issue and all I do to fix it was used a thin piece of plastic.and place right above the tab so when you open the system that plastic piece presses down on it causing the system to wake.

For WII U owners--you might want to check your local Target next Sunday (12/16-23rd) for their buy 2 get 1 free deals.  Some games were discounted by $10 (depending on your store but mine had every WII U title at $40-50).

Also Target has $10 GC with $50 purchase going on now so I ended up with two tranactions:
Purchased an $50 GC and got another $10 free (used their Target Red card so I didn't pay taxes).

Do the math:
1-game $50
2-game $50
3-3rd game Free (buy 2get 1 free)
4--Apply $20 worth of free GC's
5--apply taxes + red card discount (3%) --8% NY tax minus 5% RC discount

Equals roughly $27.50 for New WII U games enjoy your holidays :0.

Sales matter--it all comes down to numbers.  Right now the WII U just starting out and there's to many games (good for gamers/bad for publishers) so having only a few games in the next couple of quarters might actually help those games that are already released like CoD BO2 which only sold 50K or so.

Phone Service.  In american kids tweet just about everything so they need a device that has that function.  Most teens/adults WISH to only carry around one device so having an handheld with phone option is a must for people like me.

Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition is now FREE for Playstation 3 Plus Members.  This comes right after I purchased the PC version :(.

Have to say I've been loving PS+ all year now and just wished I gotten it sooner--well worth the $40 a year (you can find discounted yearly cards for this price).

No Tekken 2 or ME3 neither.  Some say that's bad news but the CAG in me says bargin bins are going be overflowing with goodies in the next couple of months.

Kinda like VITA titles now.  Picking up loads of VITA titles for $9.99.  Love it even though I still don't own an vita :( .

Eurocom is shutting down.  Their last two games were 007's Goldeneye and 007 Legends.  Legends scored an 4/10 avg.  Personally, 007 brand has been tranished so bad that ever if a decent one did come around I doubt anyone would notice.

Not sure what deal Activision has for the 007 but it's long overdue that someone else take over because James Bond is the one that needs saving :0.

Dragon's Lair (Arcade early 80's game)  QTE isn't anything new, about as old as the press button to JUMP.  Very popular during the laser disc/early CD game era.

$130 3DS/$160 3DS XL after $40 instant savings from Bestbuy starting next week 12/9.  If you're lucky and your store still have the mario land or kart bundles then it applies to them as well.

My local store was all out of Marioland/3ds bundle but they do have the blue 3dsXL/Kart bundles.

Been far to long for an proper FE game (last one was Shadow Dragon which was an remake).  I think I'm still going get an physical copy though--for my collection--I own all of the (US) FE series.

Depends on the games but some games use very fine print that's kinda hard to read in lower resolution, ran into that issues with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on the Xbox (when my HDTV died).

For the most part you shouldn't have an issue but some games have to many menues and what not hinder your view especially if your using 4:3 ratio.

For the most part you should be fine though.
