doesn't team Ico usually take forever to complete games anyways? their games are usually very good so i'm fine with them taking their time. I wouldn't be suprised it if was the PS3's swan song like God of war 2 was for the Ps2.

nsfw (violence, swearing)

not safe for bedtime

Also the entirety of School Days which is probably the worst anime I've ever seen to its conclusion. People kept saying it was good but I'm pretty sure i dun got trolled.

This review mirrors my thoughts about this game and articulates it in a way i probably wouldn't have been able to myself. I'm baffled when people say that the narative "wasn't that bad".

It really was. The gameplay itself is pretty solid though, the first person bits aside.

http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1388344/wii_u_price_release_date_details_leaked_by_ubisoft_dev_rumour.html?

  • Crytek, EA and Valve are all working on Wii U
  • Valve are working on a digital distribution platform and Portal ports

that sounds way too good to be true

I really enjoyed the  N-Focus segment, it was like a mini episode of discover music project but with videogames. As for Kirby, it sounds like the issue is the level design more than anything, kirby has some potientally cool abilities but the level design doesnt take advantage of that, instead it seems like they're designed for a regular platformer.

edit: also, the whole mass effect 3 ending debacle was pure nerdrage. Seriously overblown. Anyways I played as Female Shepard the whole trilogy since Jennifer Hale is a much better voice actor than whoever they got to voice Male Sheppard. Mass Effect 3 is probably my favorite one out of the three

microsoft and/or sony will drop the price on their respected consoles in an attempt to undermine WiiU sales

the Playskool design of the face buttons (triangle, circle, square, X? Really?). Sony should look at the Xbox 360 controller, which is miles better. It's one of the reasons I never play multi-platform games on it.

http://gizmodo.com/5622157/what-do-the-playstations-circle-x-square-and-triangle-buttons-mean

pretty interesting once you consider the meaning behind the shapes. That said, my favourite controllers are the gamecube (the wavebird specifically since i have big hands) and the xbox 360/xbox S controller. but the face button placement on the gamecube's controller has to be the most ergonomic.

I've only ever played the DS NSMB and i intend to keep it that way considering how similar other games are in this franchise. Honestly, i didn't even like NSMB on DS all that much.

yeah i agree with broodwars in that it's a tad too condensed for it's own good but it didn't really ruin the episode for me.

266
what i usually do is accept all of the quests i can before moving on to the main storyline waypoint, a lot of the time you end up killing two birds with one stone. Then before i move on to a new area i mop up the remainder.

General Gaming / Re: Favourite Video Game Podcasts.

I second A life well wasted. If it didn't only have 6 episodes with no new episodes since 2010 and the author constantly getting our hopes up with a new season which never pan out it would be objectively the best videogame podcast out there. If you've never listened to it it's almost like This American Life but focused solely on Video games. The episodes have no expiry date so you can listen to them even when they're a couple years old now and they wont be out dated.

but I don't listen to any video game podcasts outside of the NWR network for the same reason Ejamer says in the first paragraph of his post.

269
man this game is scary. before i knew it i played this game for like 4 hours doing side quests -_-

yeah if theres one thing this game taught me is to never ever play an mmo

273
well i've never played any of his games but im all for supporting indie devs so i've pitched in to the donation bucket. The premise sounds pretty cool as well.
