TalkBack / Re: Pokémon Bank Released in North America

Ah, complaining, everyone's favorite thing to do. At least its out. And if you are a big Pokemon fan, it will be a big help in the long term.

::Stands, applauding::

Bravo! Magnifico! Such passion! Great dialogue! You can really feel their pain!

....
This is why social media, of any kind, should be banned for anyone below the age of what, 15?

Interesting sounding game. I hope they are smart and just start it at $5 this time, that's the price point I picked up Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud, which are both good games. None of the Guild 02 games sounded appealing though.

So what is 5229 yen? I assume its not $52.... I hope its not $52!

Hoping for an American release date. WiiU is not a real system until it has a Tetris game on it!

Going to have to pick this up eventually. Backlag is too bad right now and its not like it's going anywhere. Added it to my wish list though, not like we can gift games to one another Nintendo. Hint Hint...

Two days after Xmas, when there will be tons of new 3DS owners and even a few WiiU owners. Online servers will be taxed!

To spin this in a positive way, the 187 of us who own a Wii U have a real collector's item on our hands. Might not be worth as much as say a Virtual Boy right now, but we do already own Virtual Boy 2!

3DS is going strong. Nintendo at E3 should say something to the extent of, "Smash Bros in holiday 2014, and then we are going with one strong pillar in the 3DS/2DS family!" And they'll spin it and give us a Cranky Kong screen saver and we'll all be happy. Right, right?

This is the first time I have ever approved of anything Tingle-related. We need more pics of her.

If this helps other people, this is what I do to try and avoid at least some spoilers. When a game gets down to the final month or so, I try and stop reading stuff about it. I don't need to see a million trailers or read articles if I"m pretty sure I want it. So as long as I can avoid Tweet spoilers (thank you very much NIntendo of America Twitter for spoiling the hidden character yesterday) I usually can keep a few surprises for when I play the game.

I would never stop myself from buying a game b/c of a spoiler (unless I was on the fence and maybe the ending was spoiled) but I do like that feeling you get when you unlock a new mode or get a special character.

This is actually can still happen if you buy some games that are less hyped up. You unlock some cool characters from other games in Orochi 3 Warriors for Wii U, and b/c I read squat on that game leading up to it, those were pretty sweet surprises.

OK, I think I ranted long enough.

I figured Red and Blue was going to be the co-op #1, but Gold and Silver are the best. Only one where you get 16 badges to go through, so much more game. I mean come on guys. And Pokemon Snap is good, but in the top 3?

How about you guys do a vote on the website for the fans to see what we think?

111
New Kid Icarus stuff sounds great.

112
I have a great idea that uses the Gamepad, and WIi U already does - panaremic view!

Imagine going through a jungle area, the big TV is the straight on view, but your camera-the game pad, can look off screen and search for the pokemon, then you take the shots.

How is this not obvious?

« on: September 19, 2013, 09:02:51 AM »
Judging by WAY too many comments above, people do not want Nintendo to make online games.

NWR, let them know this. Online is apparently very bad. Local multiplayer only.

My gosh people, stop being a bunch of negative Nancies. If you don't them, don't buy em. I for one would love to play more games with those of you who want to play online. Wii Sports is perfect for that. I'll get $10 worth of gameplay out of these game. I'm buying all 5 - I do hope its like those 3DS streetpass things where maybe if we buy the first 4, we get the 5th free.

EV graph sounds helpful.

Any word on online co-op stuff, like battle tower in Heart Gold/Soul Silver? That's what I want more than anything, lots of fun co-op onlien to play with buddies.

So they should say their name like in the anime? Either way, great to hear.

I think this is a great idea, though I want baseball more than any other game.

So they have no plans on adding anything more to the titles? I would love more than just vs for them. Like even a short 20 game season for baseball, or a road to the tittle in boxing, or just add the wii sports resort courses to golf, etc.

Price is kind of high, but at the same time, with ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, I'll easily get 10 hours of play out of these titles.

Great move by Nintendo!

117
Any word on the price? After a 3-month delay because apparently Capcom can't fix an online bug, almost have to start at $10 at most. It's been on sale multiple times on Steam already.

RPG on WIi U? Please bring to West.

I wish they would just allow us to view EV values in the stat screen.

Well we can hope they do that. Not like they said they won't be doing it.

As for this announcement, great! Will be nice to train in a variety of ways. Going around in circles killing 1000 tenacools gets tiring.

Wow, impressive review. not often do you get to see the words, "unique, fresh, unpredictable." Plus the 9/10... sounds like an experience we don't get to journey down to often. Might have to pick this up. What's the price... I don't think I see that anywhere (( may be blind)

Really wish the NA eshop had a baseball game. From what I've read, the VC and DSi options aren't that good.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Looking to pick up Mario Golf.

And for what its worth NES Play Action Football is a solid football game. Just as good as any Madden game released on a Nintendo system in the last 5 or 6 years.

If nothing else, sounds like a unique idea. And if it has 12 hours of gameplay, then $9 seems like a reasonable price. Personally, I would have gotten the trailer out now, not just 2 days before. Stopping any chance of hype...

Top 4 all worthy selections. Never played Darkwing Duck. But the omission of Legend of Zelda/Final Fantasy/Tetris/Baseball Stars 2/Duck Hunt/Mega Man 2/MM3/Double Dragon II and probably others is sacriligious!

So many good NES titles.... I normally am for NES games being on Wii U VC and not 3DSVC, but I would pay $5 in a heart beat for Baseball Stars 2 on 3DSVC.

Much like the Dugeons and Dragons game that was supposed to come out in June, I'll believe it when I see it. With that said, I've been waiting for this game since launch, when it was supposed to be out. I wish game devs had a better idea of when they'd actually be able to finish a game. They're guesswork is terrible.
