Indeed. Goldeneye is my favourite Bond film.
I think I've seen most of them. Too many to count.

As for Area 51, I think it's up there with the 'Moon Landing' conspiracies.
Some people with too much time on their hands.
But that's just me. A true skeptic.

VOIP!!!!

But anyway, Harvey Norman suck. The only thing good about them is the surround sound, uber-expensive systems.

Okay Infernal, the white bus is coming. Soon we'll have you back in your nice jacket and in your padded room.

And if this is what this thread is about, you can become honorary Aussies.
We have the power to do that, as well as make awesome beer and great barbecues.

*drags Infernal back to Aussie thread*

Honestly, I think its garbage. Yes, even Area 51.
The reason why it's out in the middle of nowhere because there is little interference for other communications, such as television, microwave, and all that stuff.
And they might as well put something out there.

And another Bond movie being planned already?

Hostile Creation: Religion eh? *tiptoes away*
And 50 cents! I'd be happy with that. We have to pay $2 for the decent games! *shakes fist*

And the American thread? *thinks about gate-crashing*

Termin8: I haven't seen American Pie 3 yet. Some mixed reviews, so I'll probably wait until it's on DVD or something.
But I did see that suspense movie Identity. And my advice. Don't. Just don't. The story is all over the place, and really screwed up. *explodes*

*goes back to Megaman*

OMG - F-ZERO IS DA BOMB! *explodes*

Curse you Sydney folk! The only decent arcades around are Intencity in town, and way down south. Bah!

PIAC: The GC one is a true 2D game, not like the isometric 2D in the GBA games. You use your chips in real-time apparently, but I'm not sure about the whole side-scrolling thing. It was nice in the days of Megaman, but the GC can do better than that. Something different. That's why I liked the combat arenas in the GBA games - simple to learn, difficult to master.

I saw a review somewhere, maybe IGN, and they didn't think too highly of it.

Pine Gap is a military base, in the Australian desert. It's a communications base, and the most obvious feature is these huge white domes which are receivers/transmitters I think.

Here's a quick link. http://www.fas.org/irp/facility/pine_gap.htm

Hey all. I turn my back for a day or two and the whole world goes down the toilet!

Mario: Bummer day. Bupbow for the loser who went after your chick. But I have a grand plan for him.
1. Punch him in the face.
2. Kick him in the guts.
3. Repeat.

Termin8: Agreement? But he only has one head! It must be an imposter Yamauchi.

Infernal: Megaman Battle 2 is definitely addictive, and I'm not sure why. I've put in 18 hours or so already, and I'm still hooked. The story's kinda lame (the hero's name is Lan - worst name ever) but it's still cool.

PIAC!!! PIAC!!! ME WANTEE SKIESEE!!!
*jumps up and down like an idiot*

I'm happy to pay, depends on what you see is fair.

And the Tasmania thing? Haven't said that. If I tried that, chicks would probably just say "WTF?"

With Prime, can you play it in 60Hz on your new TV? It's a helluva lot smoother than normal Prime.

KnowsNothing, I'd like to dispute this:

Just finished Wind Waker!!! WAH-HOO! Best ending to any game I have ever beaten (that's right, ALL TWO of them)

Go get yourself OoT. Best. Game. Ever. 'Nuff said.
The Final Boss battle is one of the best I've played. It leaves a warm, satisfying feeling.

Ms.Pikmin, can't say I've heard of that, at least at PGC.

Viewtiful Joe isn't out til the end of OCTOBER!
MEGA-BUPBOW.
The guy in EB said he wasn't sure about the game, and I wanted to bag him for being a biased fool, and then he tried to sell DOA:XBV. I couldn't stop laughing. I muttered 'jiggle engine' from a safe distance, and then left.

Oh yeah, and we sold out of Eye-Toy at work in 30 minutes today. Sad, but Crazy get.

ThePerm: That Tassie thing seems weird, but I'll give you a bit of background on it.
Mainland Australia doesn't really like Tasmania. We all think Tasmanians are two-headed inbreds.

I saw the link and expected something decent, and I was sadly disappointed.

How about I just say:

"WHERE ON EARTH IS THE DAMN POKEMON RPG, NINTENDO? DON'T FLOG YOUR S***TY WARES UNTIL YOU GIVE ME A DECENT GAME!! AND ANOTHER STADIUM GAME DOESN'T COUNT, ****WITS!"

*walks away, gives one-finger salute*

PIAC: Eh, 6am start does suck too. Career change maybe?
And I was doing 8am starts too last semester. That was horrible. Getting up before the sun is just plain wrong.

Infernal: Heh, Rayman. Mmmm, snack-tactularly short.

Mario: Yeah, those numbers kinda suck. But everywhere, Nintendo and MS are playing catchup to Sony. But things'll change with Mary Kate and Ashley!! CHARGE!!

Termin8: I'm just wondering why AiAi's a traitor??

Congrats Termin8!
I guess being of age (18) is something I'm accustomed to now, but I'll be 19 soon and that's not such a big occasion.
And Uni is as boring as ever. I'm still making the trek to the city every day, for 9am. Bleh.
At least I finish at 1 on Thursday and Friday.

X-Rays do damage to living tissue (because they are short bursts of energy). They shouldn't do damage to the memory cards. I could understand if they had some powerful magnetic fields, but then you'd have problems with laptops being scrambled etc.

And the whole checking consoles, maybe it's paranoia, maybe its an easy smuggling target, I'm not sure.

Infernal: Yeah, it is a different change to the old-school Megaman games. I showed it to my little brother and he didn't care.
Stupid kids, wouldn't know a good game if it bit them in the... *mutters*
I didn't play number 1 actually.
And GC Megaman? Hmm.
*checks wallet*
Well, not at the moment

PIAC: Maybe Control Freaks should be renamed to "Microsoft Bought Us an Island, so we're now a Very Unbiased Games Show!"

Termin8: What's Maya? Is this like that Kelly Starr thing or is this an actual game?

Nah, I've given up on Control Freaks. Sleep is better. And football.

EDIT: Infernal, have you come across Megaman: Battle Network 2? I've been playing it for the past few days, and i'm hooked!
Woo! Hooked! Woo!

Infernal: I'm back to Uni on Monday. Bupbow!
At least I've got the UniBar to go to before/during/in place of/after studying.

And I was in EB on Thursday, minding my own business (well not really, but that doesn't matter) when this kid, who thinks I'm looking at the Eye-Toy when I'm actually looking at the PC games (which are in opposite directions - go figure), and says, "Cool, eh?"
Now I could have taken that statement and proceeded to shove it down the poor kid's throat with a baseball bat, but I said, "Nah" and walked away. I didn't want to crush the casual gamer's spirit and... why the hell am I saying this?
*reaches for his time machine*
*realises he still needs to invent time machine*

I refuse to acknowledge the Eye-Toy as a real game, or a real device. Thus, it shouldn't be on any charts, anywhere, and all products should be destroyed and buried at the bottom of the sea with those XBAWXs.
*runs*

And Yu-Gi-Oh? *shakes head*
To quote the rants of Abe Simpson: "I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was, now what I'm with isn't it. And whats "it" seems weird and scary to me."

PIAC: Damn Sorny for getting PAL exclusivity! *skakes fist*
But I guess I'd rather them than having Microsoft's grubby mits all over what's shaping up to be a great game.
And FF:CC looks to be another 2004 game. Check out Penny Arcade for Gabe's reaction . I'm not going to link it because everyone should know about PA, and if you don't, then

Well I can't remember any specific games dreams, but I had this weird one years ago.
I was woken up by a witch and a gang of oompa-loompahs, tied up, and thrown into the sea. And then I woke up as I was running out of air. Weird stuff.
And would James Bond dreams count?

It really is a shame how little Nintendo Australia did this time around.
I hope they do a better job next time around, because three is definitely too many in a small market like Australia.

But there'll always be EB. It'll be a cold cold day if they stop stocking GC games.
BTW, EB have reduced GCs to $199 too.

Grey Ninja's duct taping reminded me of another party. My best friend, who was absolutely parro, kept trying to run away from the party. We have no idea why, and neither did he when we asked him the morning after.

So we devised a grand plan - duct tape him to the clothesline. Not suspended in the air, but to the post that is in the ground. So three of us grabbed him (despite his resistance) and tied him up. I think we used most of the roll, just to make sure. It did the trick, and the poor bugger slept outside, in the middle of winter. Some of the girls didn't want us to leave him there, but we chose to ignore them.
He woke up the next morning, and still couldn't get out.

To this day, he still can't remember the events of that night.
