TalkBack / RE:Pokemon and GBA SP Sell Like Crazy
« on: September 30, 2004, 01:55:28 PM »
Leaf Green was Pokémon Blue when it first came out over here, correct?  Hehe, I might just have to whip out my old Pokémon Red and Blue games and give them another try.  Geez.. it's been forever though....

TalkBack / RE:Nintendo Reveals "Third Pillar"!
« on: January 21, 2004, 05:08:55 AM »
Here. Comes. Another. Virtual. Boy. Flop.

Now don't get me wrong.. I LOVE the Virtual Boy.. it's a great, innovative system.  But no one bought in to it.  And that's going to be what plagues this system from getting anywhere.  Good luck Nintendo.  I can actually see now that you are in fact, "losing it", and are running out of ideas.  Makes you wonder doesn't it?  Considering EAD has only pumped out TWO games this whole time for the GameCube.  Yeah.. But I seriously don't wanna see Nintendo go the way of Sega.  But it's looking more and more like it everyday...  They SHOULD be concentrating on their home console market.. which is FAR MORE important than a dumb dual screen portable will ever be.  If Nintendo's gonna put this kinda crap on us, then their next console system better be jacked to the roof.  The "N5" better kick some serious arse.  Looks like Nintendo's down to their last strike.  Don't mess it up guys.

TalkBack / RE:Iwata Comments on Nintendo Next Generation
« on: January 12, 2004, 05:46:18 PM »
Oh, it's definitely some type of gameplay mechanic/control configuration thing then.  Nintendo's looking into the future as to how they can improve controls and gameplay within games.  'Cause yeah, Iwata is right, current gen systems have reached their peak in terms of gameplay.  Graphics still can be improved, but play control is something that can always advance.  Nintendo's got some sort of super, magical trick up its sleeve.  Just wait 'til E3.. then the bomb will drop.  I. Can't. Wait.

Nintendo Gaming / New Super Smash Bros.
« on: July 22, 2003, 05:13:06 PM »
I was always quite fond of the notion that maybe the next SSB could have a "build up special move" meter type thingy.  It could be built up to level 1, 2, and 3 attacks.  The third of which could be a characters, "end all be all move of moves" um, move.  1st and 2nd type attacks could be combo variations or even multipe specials thrown together.  And the only way to build up this so called "Special Meter" would be to inflict damage with regular A button attacks or by taking damage yourself.  I just think that something like this would bring a LOT of variation into the world of SSB.  It's BADLY neeed.  Oh, and more characters would be a plus, too.

Actually, pitting them against each other would have made things a LOT more exciting.  Two Final Fantasy's on the same day...  which to buy!?

NWR Feedback / Q: Will PGC do a DVD/VHS for this years E3?
« on: May 18, 2003, 04:16:36 AM »
Yeah, I'm seriously looking forward to PGC's E3 2003 DVD, too.  I just hope it's coming, that's all...

Nintendo Gaming / Advance Wars.....why not?
« on: May 11, 2003, 03:09:43 AM »
I personally CANNOT wait for Advance Wars 2.  I loved the first, and I still haven't beaten it yet either!  But it's a great game.  Bring on Black Hole Rising!!!

1714
Although it does sound cool, "MLB Triple Crown 2003" sounds like a horse racing game.  Heh, maybe that's just me though...

Nintendo Gaming / Sega Announces New Shining Force....
« on: May 08, 2003, 06:58:17 PM »
If so, expect it to rock just as much as the kick-arse Golden Sun games do.  Shining Force 3 on the Saturn totally rocked.

1716
Oh my gosh!  You don't realize how happy this would make me if Nintendo were to actually "Ichiro's Base-Hit Baseball Featuring the MLB" exclusive for the 'Cube!!!!  God, I'd wet my pants...  Or atleast something of that nature.  Actually, it could use a much better name than that...  hmmm.... I dunno... let's see..

"MLB Pop Fly '03"
"MLB Tag, You're Out!! '03"
"MLB Force Out '03"

Geez....it's hard naming baseball games these days...  Somebody help, please!!!!

Nintendo Gaming / Gamecube has stronger lineup this year?
« on: May 08, 2003, 06:25:14 PM »
Heh, Daniel always being the funny guy.  I seriously can't wait for Rogue Squadron 3 though.  That and Viewtiful Joe and Star Fox Armada are going to kick some serious boo-tay!

Nintendo Gaming / Golden Sun: The Lost Age
« on: May 08, 2003, 05:47:29 AM »
Just beat it three days ago.  Best damn RPG I've ever played.  Even blows away Chrono Trigger!  I'm a big puzzle solving freak, so that's why this ranks higher.  I love an RPG that makes you use your brain.  Chrono Trigger does have a much better story however.  Heh, can't win it all....  Oh, and Syl...what little secret did you get by getting all the Djinn?  I found all of them and didn't notice anything strange.  Hmm...maybe I missed something.  I sure hope not though.

Nintendo Gaming / castlevania: aria of sorrow
« on: May 08, 2003, 04:55:38 AM »
I'm really loving this game right about now.  Yeah, the first couple sections of the game and bosses were REALLY easy, but once you get to the clock tower, everything changes.  I'm extremely stuck on the boss at the Clock Tower right now.  Some huge wraith with a scythe...  ouch...  he's tough.

I'm really excited about the new Ultimate Muscle game coming out this summer.  Looks to be loads of multiplayer fun.  Yay!

Nintendo Gaming / I this true or just a rumor?
« on: May 04, 2003, 04:35:45 AM »
I miss the good ol' days when video game April Fool's joke were at their best.  The late eighties and early nineties were too good to me.  This stuff now is SOOOO lame.  The only one lately that really got me was EGM's Sonic and Tails in SSBM "trick".  Heh, fun stuff.

I've already imported my platinum GBP and Freeloader a little while ago, but the one thing that still concerns me is whether or not it requires a memory card save file...  Well, does it?  If so, I'll just go and buy and 59 and use that as my import save card.

TalkBack / Japanese GB Player Confirmed To Be Import Friendly
« on: March 22, 2003, 03:34:00 PM »
Hmmm....from what I understand, the boot disc that comes with it starts it up on Japanese Cubes.  That's where the Freeloader comes in for US/PAL Cubes.  Oh, but if you wanna wait for it's US release, you'll be waitin' until June.  I'd say import....NOW.  Plus, there's more colors to choose from!!

It's just another bad, horrible decision on Nintendo's part once again.  *sigh*
