Wow. You lot are generous on the PS4/XB1 totals. I don't think either will even get moderately close to those totals. This industry is in a crux state-of-mind - difficult situations being created because of the fallout of third parties. An industry run only by EA, Activision, Ubisoft, and Take Two definitely will not create that many consoles sold over their respective lifetimes.

With that said, I'd say Sony gets very lucky and hits 35 to 40 million sold, and Microsoft will net anywhere between 20 to 30. Nintendo, as long as their marketing can get their act together, could sell about 20 million when it's all said and done.

We're not living in the days of a vast amount of third parties producing killer content everywhere one looks. Those days are long over...thanks to the four big boys. :/

My, my, my music hits me so hard
Makes me say "Oh my Lord"
Thank you for blessing me
With a mind to rhyme and two hype feet
It feels good, when you know you're down
A super dope home boy from the Oaktown
And I'm known as such
And this is a beat, uh, you can't touch

I just purchased a new song on the Google Play store - VV Brown's The Apple - for 99 cents. I think movies could reach that point eventually...maybe lower resolution versions of them. Who knows?

I expect it to be awesome and nobody's happy.
I'll be nobody! :D Eagerly looking forward to this game, and to hear David Wise's melodies enter my ear holes.

NO. Bring back Clearly Canadian. That drink was what dreams were made of.

And the final boss fight is incredibly fun, too!

Can a brother not dress in drag...without being criticised?!

I suppose not then. *puts pads back in bra*

Hey, in the early morning hours, I'm handing them out.

Ceric, I was talking about these. It's basically Nestle's version of M&Ms. And it's insane how much better they are, too.

Signature says it all.

Aero bars are great! I get a Canadian lady friend of mine to bring back a bunch (along with Coffee Crisp bars) when she goes to visit her family during the summer. Smarties are also quite excellent.

You'd have to go through the middle ground first - Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes. Things actually get WAY worse in that one... it calms a bit in Cross.

The game could strike out, though.

Oh, I'm trying to finish as many as I can before I pass on in this world. I'm not purposefully not finishing games. Hah.

I have Lindemann Syndrome incredibly bad. As I look at my Backloggery account, I'm currently standing at 299 games unplayed/unfinished. The two platforms that I have the most unfinished games on are GameCube (47) and DS (41).

Yesterday, I told my brother I'd pass on my backlog to whatever children he may have in the future. Hah.

Oh, I'm not behind, Oblivion. I was just stating the same feeling toward episode one as oohhboy had done.

And yup. The next episode is just as fantastic, too.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Wii U in Review (News & Rumor Consolidation)
« on: January 07, 2014, 07:50:17 PM »
Well right now the most realistic Pokemon game for the Wii U is the fighting game, that they already hinted at back in August.

The fact the trademark for Pokken Fighters was made after that, points heavily to it being made by the Tekken team with similar gameplay, and after Hyrule Warriors was recently announced, it's only a matter of time before this game is offically announced as well.

There are currently 51 fighting types in the world of Pokémon. 51 is a bit too much for a character lineup for a fighting game, so I'd assume, whoever is developing this game, would narrow the list of playables down to final evo forms. This leaves us with:

Primeape
Poliwrath
Machamp
Hitmonlee
Hitmonchan
Mewtwo (maybe Mewtwo X form)
Heracross
Hitmontop
Blaziken
Breloom
Hariyama
Medicham
Infernape
Lucario
Toxicroak
Gallade
Emboar
Conkeldurr
Sawk
Scrafty
Mienshao
Cobalion
Terrakion
Virizion
Keldeo (with ability to change Ordinary/Resolute forms)
Meloetta
Chesnaught
Pangoro
Hawlucha

Which leaves us with a roster of 29 fighting type Pokémon for a 3D Tekken-like fight game. I'm down for that. And that's a fairly reasonable roster of fighters, too. I suppose the developers could round out the roster at 30 by adding the comedy option character of Pikachu to the list, too.

1) Smash Bros will have DLC, as stated by Adrock.  Specifically, they'll have purchasable characters, but not levels.  People will cry foul about how Nintendo withheld characters just to use for DLC.
I'm thinking the opposite. Stages and costumes, but not characters and only because they would have to do a lot more work, not because people would complain. I would have doubted Super Smash Bros. (or any Nintendo title for that matter) would ever have paid DLC until Nintendo finally popped that cherry. Super Smash Bros. is a total gold mine for this too. Even someone like myself who has never paid for DLC before would strongly consider it especially if there was a Season Pass.
Fire Emblem: Awakening says hi. :) And I still haven't bought all of that game's DLC - it's so good, though.

New StarTropics sequel.

I will except nothing else.
