I'm not sure about sales...but the even numbered Star Treks were the best...the odd ones kinda sucked...

Back to Topic:  All these reviews are freakin' hillarious.  SMG is the best...can't find anything bad to say about it...but let's dock some points just for the hell of it.  God forbid that SMG scores higher than Mass Effect or Bioshock for GOTY.

If I'm not mistaken, ExciteTruck allows you to access your SD card for music...although I haven't tried it yet.  Wait a minute...someone already answered that question.

As an aside, I can also understand why Sakurai would apologize for not being able to use music outside of what's available in the game...too much complexity there.

Pre-ordering isn't hard...but that doesn't mean I like it.  It makes sense for third parties to check pre-orders for a game.  Why ship 500,000 copies of a game that based on pre-orders may look to sell 10,000 copies in it's lifetime.  Lots of money lost there.  If you want a game to succeed - preorder!

I've cleared the second area.  I want to go back because I took a cheap shortcut on a previous level.  There's more than 1 way to beat a level.

You guys are right though...this game is hard to find.  Gamestops in LA County only had 1 copy for each store unless there was a pre-order.  Circuit City is the way to go.

I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan.  In my old age, I haven't done more than 2 hours worth of playing through straight; however, with a Fire Emblem game, I can take it up to 5 hours without even knowing it.

My only gripe is that Nintendo should've at least attempted some IR control on the grid.  Oh well...if it ain't broke...

Okay...maybe it's not a non-game after all.  After examining the arguments against the non-game angle, you win.

This is sort of like Endless Ocean non-game-like game...but quite the opposite in terms of quality. Cool stuff.

Adventure/action games are non-games now? You guys!

All I'm saying is that...if you're out there trying to survive a disaster and rescuing people along the way...then it'd loosely fall in that category with Endless Ocean...yes...sort of...

It's not your traditional, action/adventure like Zelda or Metroid Prime...it's more like...uhmmm...let me rescue some folks...touch some dolphins...raise a dog.  You know...the non-game games.

The PSP version of the game is the #2 in terms of software sales in Japan from Jan to Sept.  Anyone thinking this game isn't big...well...you're...uhmmm...you're small...hehehe.

I bought the game when it came out...but my brother the leaching Zelda fan started on it.  He and I have the same opinion about Zelda titles and he thinks this is better than both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess both.  I'm going to play through it myself to rank it.  I just hope that this review isn't based on the disagreement with the control scheme...you'd lose all credibility as a reviewer if that's the case.

Nintendo's investment in Monolith is probably the same reason they took over Retro (100%)...they saw the promise in their work.  Hopefully that's what we're getting out of Disaster: Day of Crisis.

This is sort of like Endless Ocean non-game-like game...but quite the opposite in terms of quality.  Cool stuff.

This morning's update on the Wii yielded me with a balance of 400+ blocks left.  With WiiWare titles being released coupled with Neo Geo's arrival, we're going to need more space.

I wonder what the hardware numbers overall are now that Halo 3 is almost 2 weeks old.  Last I checked, the Wii made its way to first...tasted first place...and then Halo 3 was released.

NWR's crew of MP3 reviewers have a done an exceptional job thus far.  This particular review was probably the best read for me because I agree with most of what Mike covered.  I think the cut-scenes were fine.  I've gone back and played some N64 games recently like Starfox 64 and none of the in-game cut-scenes were reminiscent the hardware 2 generations ago.

I'm done with MP3 as well.  It was a great experience for me and for my wife to watch.

My thoughts exactly.  The only problem:  How do you boot off of the storage expansion and/or SD card?

I just saw the trailer for this game.  It looks promising, but I can't say I'm jumping for joy.  We haven't heard/seen enough of this game.  I played the original many eons ago when I worked at Toys R Us.

Well I don't think the specific games was announced. Regardless Nintendo better give us the ability to run games off an external HDD or SD Card because I REFUSE to erase my internal memory to put 1 or 2 games on it.

Too bad you can't boot a game off of the SD Card or the USB port which would be used for the external HDD.

I still have to pick the game up...go to the gym with my wife (no way around it)...and then finally get to kick it with Samus.  I hate reading about people playing this gem before me.

Wii Fit will sell more hardware than Halo 3.  The Wii has 4 potential killer apps...Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Wii Fit.  Wii Fit will barely outsell Mario...but it will sell more systems than HALO 3.   Yes...the force is strong with that prediction.
