Yup, Love Hina's all about one very lucky guy who becomes the apartment manager for an all-girls, uh, apartment block. He's attempting to make it into Tokyo-U based on a promise he made to a girl when he was a wee-one.
It's hilarious, it has a deep storyline buried in there, but it's all about nose-bleeds, comedy and general uh, fun stuff. Sometimes it does get a bit disturbing (Giant mecha turtles, entering an RPG video game)

But it gets 75 thumbs up!

*Does a backflip off house into compost heap*
Mmmmm, stinky.

And death sticks Termin8? I don't know what you're talking about! No sir! What's that behind my back you ask? Why death sti*... Uh, hey look over there! A giant bottlecap!

*Starts running off but gets tired and takes a nap in the middle of a road*

Well, I don't like sausage rolls, due to them being made from... DEAD CLOWNS! (pause for crowd gasping)

Yes, that's right, delicious, yet hilarious clown meat! Mmm, you can really taste the baggy pants!

And yeah, I too saw RE0 today, yet I cried like a schoolgirl having female troubles as I saw the price, $110! Bloody hell, what do they think I am? Some kind of $110 person? A person who is made out of $100 notes and $10 notes? I DON'T THINK SO!
I only had a sad face and $60, which I spent on Anime DVD's, Love Hina volume 5 and 6 all the way! YEAH!

While walking home, I saw a garbage bin with a happy face, it sang a song about telephones and donkey eyes. I nodded my head and gave him a copy of The Unbreakable on DVD, he broke.

Then I sued the pants of some woman. I tried suing the panties off her, but no success.... NEXT TIME GADGET, NEXT TIME!
*Gets in a Pokeball and melts into the ground, where I rule many a dolphin*

*Puts down the red cordial and Bubble-O-Bill, and falls asleep*

Speaking of Silent Hill, number three will be coming with the OST as a pack-in for all PAL territories! Somebody over at Konami Europe loves us ^^

Yeah, play Xenosaga, then you'd see its a fantastic game, with a fantastic soundtrack.  DOn't hate it just becasue it has a nice big story.

I didn't say I hated the game, I'm talking about how they used the music in the game. The majority of the tracks on the OST are stunning, yet they seem to be used in the worst parts of the game. Or used... Wrong. Having FMV with nothing but the sound of engines going in the background isn't my idea of epic.
Or using great tracks in one hallway... Where they'll never be heard again, is just sad.

Yeah, I almost wet my pants upon opening the gaming page of the Domayne catalogue.. Know what sucks? I tried two different EB Worlds for a price match, and got nothing.
They have to ring up the Domayne stores to see how much the game you want is selling there. Don't ask me why, but they both did it (Along with Grace Bros.) and each time, I got told they didn't have the game/s in.

I later find out that this GC deal has been going for over a week now (From various people at Hyperactive), so that's why their range of games is rather... Uh, crap. All the good games are LONG gone from the majority of stores in NSW.

Arg!!

....
*Shrugs shoulders*

*Goes back to playing quality games on all three systems. Uh, at once!*

No system can claim to have the best games all round. That's just crap.

Well, Nintendo have shown us they're willing to put effort into their CD based music (Smash Bros. Melee), but it'll never have the same charm as their stuff on NES and SNES did. Cartridge music all the way!

What's sad is when developers have access to stunning music composed for the game, yet treat it like rubbish. Yeah, I'm lookin' at you Xenosaga....

General Chat / Anyone have the "updated" NES and/or SNES?
« on: March 08, 2003, 06:12:35 PM »
Wait, there was an updated version of the SNES? I knew about the newer model NES (Top-loader) but a newer SNES? ME WANT!

But wow, you must really want them, judging by what you're willing to pay! Tried Ebay?

Hmm, I see no reason why EB World wouldn't refund the $10.. But you might get it back in store credit or something *shrugs shoulders*

As for SMB2, well, GameNation are pricks. It's been delayed till the 14th. Along with Sonic Mega Collection..

http://gamenation.com.au/product/?action=releaseschedule&platform=10

But hey, PSO is coming out that same day too... Which.. I find almost impossible to believe.
And Ikaruga comes out on May 9th! Huzzah!

Hot damn, I need to go to a Japanese garbage dump with a rather large truck! Oh, I'll take that old DVD-Recorder off your hands Sir, no problem!

4737
Well, Sony has released some rather awesome new coloured PS2's in Japan. I'm sure there's some desire to buy another unit because it's a different colour. *Shrugs shoulders*

Plus the Japanese never get things fixed, they replace them. Added with the fact that the PlayStation 2 is one of the shoddiest built machines around..

Nintendo Gaming / limited zelda in Australia
« on: March 06, 2003, 03:16:47 PM »
I've heard many stories via Hyperactive.com.au
Some say they've been told by EB that you have to pre-order, some say they've heard we even get a memory card with the Master Quest disc...

I'd like to wait for an official word from Nintendo Australia, but who am I kidding?
Ah well, I pre-ordered quite some time ago. I might ring up my local EB World and find out if they know anything...

*Rings up*
EB World: Oh.. Yeah, well, we've been told you get a rather large donkey with Zelda if you've pre-ordered. Plus a jumping castle!
Me: But what about the bonus disc?!
EB World: Bonus disc? No, no bonus stages in Zelda for the NES
Me: Wha?
EB World: Hey, did you know Vice City features cars?
Me: Indeed I did. But what about Zelda? The bonus disc?
EB World: No, Zelda doesn't feature cars. How about dogs? You got one?

*Hangs up*

$20 in five and ten cent pieces?
That's your ticket to SMB2! Simply walk up to the counter, ask for a copy of SMB2, when he brings the shiny shrink wrapped sex-in-a-box back, throw the coins at him and run away with the game! (Giggling like a demented school girl, of course)

It'll be hours before they dig him out of the pile of coins!

Off topic, so:
The graphics in GTA3 suck hard. Blurry as hell, and that 'soft' lighting makes it even blurrier. But I guess that can be excused for the absolutely massive city you have to travel in and around. But the graphics suck.

First off, Burnout 2 for PS2 =P
And second, yeah, the blurry graphics in GTAIII are thanks to the 'trails' option. It's on by default, and is basically a huge amount of motion blur. Quite annoying.
It can be turned off, giving everything a crisper, more solid look. But the frame rate takes a hit -_-

Yeah, the mini-RC cars are pointless. What's worse are the min-RC planes... And you have to complete two missions using the bastards >_<

Speaking of Burnout 2, I recently unlocked a new cheat, one crash and you die. Makes for some VERY tense racing. No, no! Don't drift into the back of that semi! BAM! *Flips into side of house*

... Drat.

Actually, I'd love to see some Sega characters thrown into the mix. As well as levels. A Chemical Plant level would be great!
In fact, screw Mario Kart, I want a new Sonic Drift, Sega!

Actually, I'd be interested in a PC sales chart too.
Then I could laugh at the low sales and go "ahh, so many pirates"

Nintendo Gaming / no pso this friday for Australia?
« on: March 05, 2003, 02:01:53 PM »
Hmm, I highly doubt we'll see this anytime in the near future. I mean, take alook at Australia's state of broadband gaming. Sad to say the least..
Not even Microsoft has released Live! details here yet, so I find it hard to believe freakin' Nintendo Australia will be the first to introduce online console gaming here.

Yeah, it would seem not every Harvey Norman is doing the whole marked down GC game thing. Damn you stores!

And thanks for that link man, I didn't even know Infogrames had an Aussie site *Sweat drop*
Damn, not only is SMB2 coming out tommorrow, but Sonic Mega Collection comes out Sunday, Gah! Stupid lack of funds!

Wow, nothing much has been happening in the wonderful (?) world of Nintendo Australia it would seem...
Hmm, anybody know when Super Monkey Ball 2 gets released here? It's... Been... So... Long....

Oh yeah, while I'm here, I'll pimp a newcomer Australian band, Kissing with Aimee. Strange name, yeah. But their music is quite good, that's if you like the whole "I'm pissed off at the world" type punk music. The lead singer is the one and only Joel, or as some would know him as, Jivemaster from OC ReMix =D

Enjoy!

I first played PoP on the Master System, I think it was the first game I played with gore. Like when you fell onto spikes, got sliced in half from those annoying doors, fell too far. Falling too far was hilarious, he'd hit the ground with a sickening thump and for some reason blood would instantly appear all around him.

.... Good times.
