Actually, IMO, it's the second worst Sonic game in existence (The worst being a very unknown Master System Sonic called Sonic Blast, made by TecToy, only ever released in Brazil)

Mainly because SA2:B doesn't really let you play as Sonic that much, and forces you to take control of other characters that have more puzzle-like levels. No no, Sonic games are about insane speed! Not digging for emeralds!

I think the game that's built in the GameCube sucks the most, you know, that whole "Calender" game. Bah, you have limited options, and I've never managed to run into an enemy, talk about barren landscapes!

Actually, where IS this advertising Nintendo promised us for Metroid Prime? Seriously, it's coming out on the 3rd, right? I still haven't seen anything apart from cool posters in Target and EB World..

Bah, honestly, it doesn't look that much fun to begin with. Wow, trapped on Mars, you have a robotic girl type thing that's ultra horny (True story, every company has gotta include a girl that wants you) and you walk around shooting aliens.

Wow, haven't seen that in a game before! Shooting aliens! WOAH!

Bring back Sam & Max Lucas!

Why would Sonic Team stop Sonic on GameCube now? I mean, after Sonic DX, we'll have almost every Sonic game ported to GameCube (With the exception of the wonderful Master System/Game Gear Sonic games.. And Sonic CD)

Actually, I have a strong feeling that Sonic CD will make it's way onto PS2 via that whole "Sega Ages" thing they have planned... *Sad face*

They know there's people like me who'll snap up anything with Sonic! Plus, I feel GC is the system of choice for the old-school gamers, who grew up with the blue blur, and like me, will buy anything based on him! =P

(Hell, I even paid money for Sonic Shuffle)

Hey, nice site Termin8. That's the first time I've actually noticed it in your sig ^_^;
Very smart looking! *Looks over at my old Geocities sites, hangs head in shame*

Hmm, I'll answer to the following *ahem*; Infernal, Monkey, Lance, Hey you! or even a slap to the back of the head.
It's all good!

I hope it gets a decent amount of people there, and hopefully Nintendo will promote the GameCube in there somewhere! I don't wanna it restricted to Pokemon Ruby and so on, no sir!

AND YAY! I FINALLY GOT SONIC MEGA COLLECTION!

Oh man, it's sad to say, but I almost cried when booting this up. So beautiful! From the scanned comics, to the STUNNING cleaned up versions of the Sonic CD video's (full screen anime fun!)

What was cool, is that as soon as I went to the games section, I unlocked "Flicky" because I had a SA2:B save on my card =)
That's all I've unlocked so far, really wanna unlock Ristar.

And the original Sonic is... Odd. It's actually the Japanese version, since the clouds in the background move, and there's more special effects with the water. Wonder why it was cut from the US/PAL versions?

Plus it has the option of playing them all in 60 Htz! YAY!

Yeah, it's quite funny how many Aussies are here. But hey, it's not like there are any decent dedicated Australian GameCube forums!

Look for some tall dude with a crappy goatee, half assed spiked hair and wearing an old Coca-Cola backpack that afternoon. That'll be me! I'll also most likely be yelling things very loud and random people, because... Freaking people out is hilarious!

Damn, I hope they have the likes of Metroid, Fzero and Zelda there to play!

... Might also attempt to kick Jade and Ryan in the balls too.

"Hey guys!"

Me want Sonic Mega Collection, NOW! The only place I've seen that has it is toyshop.com.au, but It's out of stock already!

Heh, can't wait till the 29th. Hell yeah, I'm going into the city to play upcoming GC games and laugh at the losers of the Pokemon contest. Plus I might even get the chance to kick Pikachu in the groin until he coughs up vital organs. I'm actually excited about this day!

Good to see Nintendo Australia is sorta getting it's sh!t together.

Actually, we should start seeing MP adverts anytime now. I remember PGC had an article saying Nintendo Australia were going to have a MASSIVE television advertising campain for the Metroid Pak (GameCube, MP, and MP cover plate thingy)

While good, it has me slightly worried, because it may mean we won't be seeing the kick ass advert that was present in the US, but rather a crappy Australian made advert (Think of the Mario Party 4 advert.... *Sad face*)

Oh, and this is a milestone for my local EB, they've actually got giant posters around advertising Metroid Prime and even Super Monkey Ball 2! Keep in mind that Blacktown's EB World basically hate the GameCube! Good signs!

Anyway, they better bloody have Sonic Mega Collection there on Monday... I can't stand it anymore! I only just read that in this collection, you'll be able to play as Knuckles in Sonic 1! YOU COULDN'T DO THAT ON THE MEGADRIVE WITH THE HOOK-UPS! ARG, ME WANT GAME NOW!

HULK SMASH!

$27 for XG3? That's actually quite good...

And yeah, I'm actually not quite sure if we have to pre-order to get the bonus disc. NOAus havn't mentioned that we have to pre-order, just that there will be a special edition 2 disc set type thing..

Ah well, at least it's actually coming.

GameNation screws us once again... I went to their site this morning and saw a nice "OUT NOW" on both SMB2 and Sonic Mega Collection in the GC release date section, so "Huzzah!" I scream, and off I go into town.

Get to EB...
No SMB2.... No SMC....

EB World Guy: "Nah, SMC has been shipped to our warehouses, so we'll have it in about Monday... SMB2? Dunno mate"

Bah, it's $110 at Kmart at Parramatta... And Blacktown don't even have it. I'm going into EB World on Friday to pick up a copy of Sonic Mega Collection, I might trade in some of my more crappy PS2 games to get money off RE0 while I'm there. Yay, I'll be broke once again!

*Gets back in box*
