Nintendo Gaming / RE: Can Anyone Help Me?

Get yourself a hammer, and crack into the top of the GameCube. This will SOMEHOW make the front controller panel bit fall out*. Then you'll need a duck, some corn chips, and a large cooking pot. Flip the panel UPSIDE DOWN, and port four will turn into port ONE, LIKE MAGIC! *Eats more strange glowing goo found in spooky abandoned ghost house*

*No it won't.

From what I understand, they're the NES games, but the music is even more updated than the PSone releases got. God I hope they give you the choice of keeping the original tunes.

I'd be more than happy to write a review of Unirally from the SNES.

Oooooh, I actually didn't feel like getting on the Internet yesterday. Or even today, but like, there's nothing on TV. I tell ya, something's wrong.

Happy Birthday, Shifty!
I'll have to do another late Birthday song tomorrow morning!

I agree with you, Mario. SCII has already lost its charm, well, for me, anyway. Maybe because I played it for about seven hours straight yesterday. I dunno, the CPU is friggin' CHEAP in that game. Like Mario Kart 64 (where the CPU racers would pop out of nowhere) but times a billion more. (What the hell you goin' on about Infernal?)

I've got ONE more thingy to do in the 2nd weapons masters mode, and it's IMPOSSIBLE. Five opponents, less than 30 seconds, and Taki ALWAYS BLOCKS EVERYTHING, THE F**KING CHEAP ASS *More swearing here*

As for I-Ninja being exclusive to PS2 in Europe. Boo friggin' hoo. I say good on Sony for being aggressive pricks. Not like the game will sell (OMFG IT'S NOT GHEYLO OR GTA!!11)...

Um, oh yeah, anybody seen Donnie Darko? I got that little gem on DVD yesterday. AWESOME movie. It stuffs your brain around. I like it alot.

Welp, I'll get it. I quite liked the cast of FFVII, and I wanna see what silly excuse they come up with on why Sephiroth is alive. =/

How... Odd. Seriously, the Sonic games have never done too well on PC. Oh well, PC only gamers get their first platform game in years.

Oh, but it's okay. I have unlimited lives at the moment. And by unlimited lives, I mean a can of drink. *Tries to drink it while doing a barrel roll*

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Regarding Billy Hatcher & the Giant Egg
« on: September 26, 2003, 01:50:47 AM »
IGN seem to hate anything by Sonic Team, lately. They slammed Sonic Adventure DX so hard it wasn't funny. I don't want to believe IGN about their comments regarding Billy Hatcher's music. I really don't.

Anything by Rareware. They had awesome talent with the Super NES sound chip. Donkey Kong Country/Two and some of the best music ever.

DKC/2 - Ice Cave Chant, Mine Cart Madness, Credits Concerto, Main Theme, Enchanted Woods, Brambles (I'm going to upload this to my site pretty soon, it's FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC), Aquatic Ambience... And lots more.
I quite liked their work on Perfect Dark and Blast Corps for the Nintendo 64, too. Oh yeah, and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs for the SNES (Level 8, the Dark Castle's BGM was surprisingly epic for a beat em' up)

Hmmm, I'm also a sucker for anything from a Sonic the Hedgehog game. Very catchy stuff. Sonic 2's music is great stuff. Although I hated the sad rap songs that were found in Sonic Adventure 2.

At the moment I'm still enjoying the music found in Iridion II for the GameBoy Advance. Shin'en did a fantastic job with it. I've never heard the GBA pull off music this good before. Plus some of the their staff worked on the original Sonic the Hedgehog music, so I'm thinking that's a big reason why I found myself enjoying it so much. Hmmm, I've found myself getting into the FFX-2 OST lately, too. I don't intend on playing the game (at all), but some of the music is quite emotional. Track one, Eternity is an awesome bit of work. Although the mood it sets it quickly destroyed by the pretty terrible J-Pop track that bursts in right after it... Booo.

And at the moment, Contra: SS and Guilty Gear X is feeding my craving for heavy metal. See? I ramble alot.

THE FOLLOWING EVENT IS A TRUE STORY.
I knew this guy in high school who used to be a pretty hardcore Nintendo follower. He was on top of the news, he imported stuff, he even finished OoT in one sitting (so he claimed, anyway). Then he got a new PC, one that could actually run games! *SHOCK*
Along with that, he got an ADSL connection. He got hooked on Counter-Strike and Quake III. Not even a month later, he didn't want anything to do with 'those pathetic Nintendo games'. His life had become '1337 sniper in CS, BRO!!!1'.

He sold his N64 (as well as his brand new PS2) a bit later on because he wanted money for the latest graphics card. You know, the one that could push a massive 2 more frames a second, and is VITAL for Counter-Strike =\
Now a little over two years later, and he hates everything that has to do with Nintendo or Sony. Yet he has an Xbox. He got it for Halo, and spews forth such crap as "It's F**ckin' leet, bro! A real gamers game!"

"Smash Bros.? What are you, a poof? LAUGH OUT LOUD!"

(Yes, he actually SAYS THAT). I very rarely talk to him anymore. I don't want to. So there you have it, PCs mutate people!

Weeee! SCII rocks my eye sockets. Kills my hands, though. But it's fun-tastic X40. I love the useless weapons.

Yay! I've got a boat paddle! *WHACK* *DEATH*
And those ice stages are the best thing in the world. The CPU usually runs around like an idiot and falls of straight away. WINNER IS ME!

*Is yet to see this new wave of Nintendo advertising*

Oooooh yeah. I was reading an old issue of Hyper today (early 200), and they interview Lorne Lanning (Guy behind the Oddworld games on PSone/PC/Xbox)
One of the questions they ask is what does he think about the upcoming Nintendo 'Dolphin', and I found it rather funny in an odd way.

Quote

Nintendo have finally proven they want to remain a toy company with their upcoming 'gaming' machine. They're refusing to get with the times and become a TRUE multi-media company. The Dolphin is not on our radar screens.

GOOD ON YA, LORNE! BET THOSE "AWESOME" SALES OF THAT TERRIBLE MUCH'S SILLY ODDESSY MAKE YOU FEEL ALL WARM INSIDE!

Sounds like fun!

A remake would be cool, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sega ignores this one for the rest of eternity...

Oh man, San Francisco Rush was a brilliant game. I would die for a remake on the Cube. And by die, I mean pay money. Rush 2 was quite cool, too. I quite enjoyed the very annoying stunt mode.
*Drives off a ramp, lands on roof, explodes, repeats for hours. Even longer in 2-player*

I'd also die (pay money) for a Gunstar Heroes remake. Great bloody co-op.
And where's Sparkster, Konami? BRING HIM BACK.

HERE COMES INFERNAL! *Opens PGC door holding a melted ice cream*
Aw, I missed the party. It seems you can miss alot in two days of non-active posting-activity-I'm-just-making-stuff-up-now.

Saw that FF:TA advance advert last night. NOW LET US NEVER EVER SPEAK OF IT AGAIN. Holy crap, it was almost as bad as when Nintendo Australia made their own Game & Watch Gallery 4 advert... *Shudders*

ANNNNND, got to play teh new demo disk yesterday, in BIG W! WHY IS THAT SHOCKING? BECAUSE THE BIG W HERE STOPPED SUPPORTING GAMECUBE LAST NOVEMBER! NOW THEY'RE PIMPING IT ALL OVER THE SOUND AND VISUAL DEPARTMENT! THREE GAMECUBE KIOSKS! A SHELVE FULL OF NOTHING BUT STAR FOX ADVENTURES AND RESIDENT EVIL (-_-) AND POSTERS! PPOOOOOOSSSSTERS!

VJ kicks so much ass. I got confused on the Cowboy boss thingy.
THEN I SELECTED F-ZERO AND BOGGED MY PANTS. Holy crap it's fun. The demo disk only runs in 50Htz, too (I resetted and held down b, no 6Htz option), so the demo isn't nearly as fast as what will be thrown at us in October!

I got your letter the other day, Nitsu, but for some odd reason, it flooded my letter box. Then I ran around town screaming "IM ALL WET!".

True story. Awesome avatar, PIAC!

And why have I never heard of Pac-Man Fever? ;___;

YOU WILL GIVE ME A TOP LOADING NES NOW, BILL! ^_^
I need one of those badly, stinky pants original NES needs to be kicked in the groin (it has one) to start now. Then it'll usually give me the flashing on/off a few minutes into the game. *Throws bricks at it*

Actually, the forums have been pretty good over here on my side of the monitor. Not like their usual frozen poo up slide. And I'm here on stink pants 56k while downloading 4 files and with 3 IE windows all loading crap. Hurray!

*Entire suburb explodes*

What are you all looking in my direction for?!

Erm, I was planning on going to Kmart today to hog the demo disc (apparently its going over there), but I'm too lazy. I'd just somehow end up blowing all my money on useless junk.... A RED PEN! *Buys the lot*

Did Isabel hit your area really hard, Nitsu? I saw that on the news last night, and I made a shocked face. Broken crap everywhere. Then they proclaimed it wasn't as bad as what they thought it would be... Geez, looked pretty damn bad to me! O_o
