WOOOO, YEAH! RED SOCKS!
*Only has boring looking white Nike socks with that stupid Nike tick (OMFG TRADEMARK!), and some old socks with Homer Simpson on them that don't fit*

Boo, just hired out Eternal Darkness from Blockbuster, get home and see a MASSIVE scratch running straight across the disc. I'm sorta tempted to put it in to see an error screen... But .. no. Now I'm too bloody lazy to return it. Yay!

Hurray! THAT'S ALOT OF NUTMEG!
The GameCube version of SCII's still in the charts, too! Take THAT, 1950's society!

*Radio plays*
'An ice cream costs a nickel, and a hot new tune arrives, it's 1959!'
Homer: Oh my God, I've gone back in time!
Lenny: Hey Homer... Oh.. Let me guess.. Gone back in time again?
Homer: Shutup, shutup, you haven't even been born yet!

What's that you ask? Why, it's a website!
Some Japanese dude has done BA-JILLIONS of metal remixes of video game tunes. You can find them in the MP3 section! Shock!

Only problem is, all the track names are in Japanese.. And well, he remixes alot of obscure Japanese RPGs. However, I've stumbled upon a remix he did of the classic Super Mario Bros. tune.

GET THE MARIO REMIX RIGHT HERE.

Here's a song from Tetrisphere on N64, too. GET IT, IT'S AWESOME! =)

Fanta is 1337, d00d. Or something. The bubbles actually DO burn my tounge, you know? I'm like, "WOAH, TASTY LIQUID" and THEN I'm like, "WOAH, I'M BURNING"

*EXPLOSION*

My Internet has degraded to nothing. Took about 12 attempts to dial up, but surprisingly, PGC loaded up pretty quick (15 minutes). I think I'm excited. Why isn't Animal Crossing out? RIGHT NOW. Then I'd go have a bubble bath and still play with toys and stuff in the bath, because I'm 1337. Why do we age? I'm sick of that.

Where's my barrel of pudding? Man, I could sure go for some of that right now. The barrel, that is. Mmm, wood and nails and stuff.

*Wonders if this post will post, and if anybody will scratch their heads so much they'll bleed from trying to understand this post that I hope posts*

A music game has been LONG overdue on a Nintendo system. *WANTS WANTS WANTS*
The actual playscreens look like Donkey Kong Jr. from the NES! Yay!

Nintendo is apparently going for the noncore but the noncore want to at least be able to save a full season at launch on Madden on their memory card), the Gamecube design, the controllers wacky look and lack of buttons (z button really erks developers as well as lack of analog stick clicking), GBA linking instead of online, Metroid's overtly complicated controls, and Mario Sunshine's less than spectacular sales.  Nintendo has changed.  They changed into Shig.  They need to be Nintendo again and that is the bottom line.   What is Nintendo going to do when that sales boom dies just like some of their titles' sales.  Fast out of the gate but then reverts to a crawl.  No more gimmicks time for a ******* change.

OH NO, NINTENDO'S DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. BETTER BABBLE ON ABOUT HOW I THINK NINTENDO SHOULD ACT SO THAT NOBODY GETS HAPPY ABOUT THE GOOD NEWS. AS NINTENDO FANS, WE SHOULD MAKE IT A PERSONAL GOAL TO NEVER BE SATISFIED WHEN SOMETHING GOES RIGHT. EVERYTHING IS DOOM AND GLOOM. NINTENDO HAVE KIDDY GAMES, PEOPLE ARE BUYING THEM, BUT SINCE I DON'T LIKE THEM, I'LL IGNORE THAT FACT.

General Gaming / RE:Sonic DX announced for PC
« on: October 02, 2003, 04:56:24 PM »
Sonic CD's American soundtrack was awesome. I only recently got to hear it, though thanks to Protoman.com. For some reason, Sega had two totally different soundtracks for Sonic CD. One for the Japanese/PAL release, and one for the US release. *ODD ATTACK*

3661
Nope.
Personally, I hated the Stadium games on N64. I wasted $100 on a game with about as much interaction as a Sega CD game. *Hides* ^^
This RPG element does sound pretty nifty, but I'll wait and see. I have a feeling it'll be undercooked, and the game will mostly focus on the Sega CD bit again.

*Gets struck by a coffee mug in the back of the by Mario*
OUUUUUUUUUUUUCH! I'LL TAKE THE MOUNTAIN DEW!

IT HAS ICE CREAM? *Attempts to Pre-order the game from a hardware shop and recieves a serious ear bashing from some clerk named Sam*

I liked the original on PC. It was very mindless fun. Walk around, get swamped in ga-billions of enemies, turn them into red mist. Continue. Yay!

Louie FM played this cool-ish Nintendo song last night. And I sat up and went "I NEED TO SIT BACK DOWN!"
Then I decided to search for the song, and it wasn't very hard. It was like jelly. Easy. What?

Saint Dragon

It's called... Um, 'Nintendo' WOW!
Be prepared for a long wait, though. They have stink pants download speeds. 0.41kb/s on dial up! ROCK ON!

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Why does Roy's sword flame?? (Fire Emblem)
« on: October 01, 2003, 08:17:45 PM »
ANSWER ATTACK:
It's simple. Roy dips his sword into a can of baked beans before each match. He then sharpens it on a cats tounge, and juggles watermelon while complaining about the price of nutmeg. After the cat is well and truely dead, and Roy's sword is coated in beans and blood, he'll go have a shower.

*SCENE DELETED*

.. And that's why it flames when he hits someone.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Advertising.
« on: October 01, 2003, 08:11:38 PM »
Personally, I love this new "Who are you?" thing, because it's letting fans get in on it. I mean hell, Nintendo has managed to bring people together with these fan made 'Who are you' pictures on boards all over the Internet.

Plus it's obscure. That in itself gets 100 points in my non-existant rating system!
I'm even liking Nintendo Australia's new advertising method, by taking classic arcade games (Pong, Galaga) and turning them into $199 GameCube adverts. It brings a great big goofy smile to my face.

Hurray! There's another $199 GC advert now. This one is Namco's Galaga, but all the alien ships are ones and nines. Three numbers fly down at once and destory the ship shooting them, then it has 'Time to update your gaming?' and they form into a $199.

I GET ALL EXCITED OVER THE SMALLEST THINGS!

Cool review. Nice to know the tunes are good. I freaked out when IGN crapped on about "AW NOES, MUSIC ISN'T GOOD BECAZ IT'S SILLAY!"

I want this game now!

Yay! The advert for the GC's price drop is all over Cheez TV in the morning! Winner! Spongbob Squarepants + Many Nintendo 'Pong' style adverts = Me eating chocolate drink mix straight from the tin.

Did you know it's hard to chew with a mouth full of that powder goodness? Yeah, I should make a documentry on it.
