Zelda overworlds are missing cool stuff to grind on. Imagine grinding Epona along a rail or doing sick stunts off the roof of a shop. Link'd be all "right aaawwn" and the shop keeper would ring up Mayor Ganon to complain about a street punk and his horse. Then Mayor Ganon starts roaming the streets and punching trash cans for food and bonus items.

Yeah, the firmware update buggered up the pointer somehow. It skips and lags all across the screen. Even taking the Wii to a friends place and using his sensor bar and controller didn't change anything. But Nintendo Australia want me to pay shipping, then their fee to check it, then repairs. Apparently forced firmware updates that ruin the system aren't covered by the warranty or something!

No. They don't. Not anymore at least. If graphics sold systems, the Wii wouldn't have made any impact at all. DS would be joining the Game Gear and the Lynx's tea(r) party. If graphics sold systems, Viva Pinata wouldn't have been a gigantic sales disaster. If graphics sold systems, Dreamcast might have been something more than a joke console to the general public.

Sounds like you've been burnt a fair bit by third parties on DS! (American versions of Mr. Driller and Bubble Bobble are both complete crap compared to the Japanese/Euro ones)
