Not quite. They make you watch the first half of the movie and then they replay the same scenes but
backwards with an added 'flood'.

Yes. Out of my last 10 game purchases, only 1 (Killer 7) has been PAL version. New release games are approximately 10 - 20% cheaper online. ($A80 -> $A100) Same goes for DS ($55 -> $70). Importing is essential in both dollar terms and timeliness, Australia still doesn't have Meteos.

AFAIK the only games we've ever received around the same time (or berfore) the US have been DK Jungle Beat and Zelda: Minish Cap. Metroid Prime 2 was noteable for a one - month conversion. This occurred because they basically left the game in NTSC format, in that you needed a 60hz compatible tv.

Try playing Mario Kart or Star Fox on your NES.

Yeah the game is pretty fun, short, but fun. There's a whole heap of collecting that slows the pace down and therefore pads out game time. However with multiplayer I had a real good time.

Nothing quite as extreme, but I saw Nintendogs advertisements in Pets Paradise! My girlfriend also said she saw Nintendogs ads in a chicks fashion store (don't recall the name) Bizzaro!

The popular game I'm think of is:

Meteos!

Use the remote to slide tiles (the B trigger acts as if the stylus is on the screen.)
Or they could just release a GBA expansion with more planets.

Simple, yet addictively brilliant.

Just be thankful that you don't live in Australia, where you get to choose from Silver, Silver and you guessed it, Silver!

Lol at HudsonHawk and KDR.

I'm left handed aswell, so I've thought some about this.

You've played Timesplitters right? You probably did ok with your right hand controlling the aiming in that? Look at all the backwards right handed people, it took them a bit longer to come to grips with the analog stick than us lefties back in the 64 era but they learnt eventually.

I love how closed minded everyone is, how determined current gaming is the best.

Just tell them to wait until Monday when Sony announces their new PS3 boomerang complete with pointing device.

I Love it I love it.

That's handy you need 8 controllers instead of 4.

(I like the new design btw)

I guess a maximum of 4 players has been confirmed, as the control looks like it has 4 channels.

So it'll be awesome for NES games but what about SNES or N64?

Am I the only one that likes a little colour in buttons.

That being said Australia does not get Meteos until December, some 4 months after the US release. Wha-?

Yes they are. But where do the people die?
A. On land (the majority). They get trampled as the hippo makes its way from its feeding grounds back to the waterhole.

That polo idea sounds awesome for a mini game within Mario '128'. Multiplayer would be awesome.

That's good news. Too bad I've already ordered two over the net!
Pity the release date wasn't in time to combat the PSP launch. Same goes for Meteos and Kirby.

Yeah - handheld games never quite look right when they are blown up and printed (with a lovely grainy finish) in magazines and then scanned.
