One thing that doesn't seem right though.
If I come into the 1st circuit and there are already 4 people in it, one with the title belt, shouldn't I be ranked #5 and not #4?
wouldn't the title holder be ranked #1 and the 3rd person under him be ranked #4? cause that would make me, the "new comer" #5 as in the 5th person.

Title belt holder = Champion
Number 1 Contender
" "        2  " "
" "        3  " "
Number 4 Contender = You :)

Good posts brood wars, very informative. I'm probably going to skip this one, sounds very Crackdownish (which was ok but repetitive).

Yeah, Niger...which I guess is technically part of Egypt? Sort of? Geography's not my bag.

Hah, definitely not your bag, Niger is in central-west Africa while Egypt is in the very northeast corner. Great thread though ;)

Is that DS figure a combination of the lite and i? What's the breakdown if it's available?

I'm sure it will break a million. It will be a slow burner.

Yep as soon as all those 12-year old DS owners turn 13, Bam! It'll get a blast from the spice weasel.

Well, if it is true, at least the Spiderman font is gone. On the box shot in the red label it says 120GB/ something something. It looks like GD to me, does anyone know what that is / means?

The PS controller needs more shapely / ergonomic handles (this could happen mid gen) and a switched dpad and analog. I also prefer the bumpers on the 360 compared to the two pairs of identical shoulder buttons, mainly because don't like using my middle fingers on L2 and R2.

a skewer with a bunch of shrimp on it

Shrimp goes on the barbie, not in the enemy.

Don't you learn etiquette in school?

I believe it's a prawn, not a shrimp. I believe... ;)

I agree about the number of games released, it seems pointless what with DLC. But, rhythym games are 'real games', just because you may not like them doesn't effect that. That comment seems similar to saying that FPS's are mindless and fighting games are button mashers. Saying that, I don't actually enjoy the playing experience of Guitar Hero type games, it's mindless and full of button mashing. ;)

I also notice that Immortality is not one of the possible tracks. :(  And I was hoping for Yellow Ledbetter just so that we could find out what the lyrics are.

They are always semi-improv'd but with recurring themes / lines. Adds to the mystery of it all. During Ed's solo tour a fan asked what are the lyrics to YL and Eddie responded: 'Wait … you mean there’s lyrics?' He then expounded on the meaning at least:

Quote from: TwoFeetThick.com
He then proceeds to tell the story surrounding the lyrics, saying it was written around the time of the Gulf War when “Papa Bush” was President. He knew an “alternative-looking” friend from Seattle who received a “yellow letter” when his brother died in the war. Ed was walking with this friend and there was a flag hanging from a porch on a house along the road. When the friend acknowledged the flag patriotically, the people seemed to not reciprocate his homage (”but they don’t wave”) because of his appearance.

As I'd said earlier I'd prefer live versions, mainly because of the reasons Jonnyboy already stated. When playing live PJ extend solos, add / change lyrics, one of my favourite examples being in Yellow Ledbetter in a Melbourne show where Ed changed the 'boxer of the bag' line to:
  "and mr. security man, i know ya just trying to do your job;
but we're all friends here, and we're about to leave for home'
after security were trying to grab this kid not far from me that was smoking.

And yes, Immortality would have been perfect for this. :(

Live PJ is as good as it gets. I prefer nearly every song in its live iteration. I am, however, disappointed with the lack of any pre-2003 performances. It's not like the 2003 boots used the same production style as the 2006 boots either so I can't understand why the eartlier tours  don't get a guernsey. Not to mention some of the performances chosen are pretty average or complete **** ups in the case of Satan's Bed 2003. I am impressed that a couple of shows I went to made the cut.

The set list is pretty decent, but when I intially heard of this I thought the 10 club was going to get a say in song choices which would have been cool. As it is the set contains only a few surprises but they'll be fun to play / sing I'd think.

Edit: Obscure? Um what? The fact that they are one of the greatest live bands in the world with a huge catalogue of recorded shows makes PJ an easy choice for this.

@ Pap: Yeah they didn't do videos for their second, third, fourth or sixth albums. They've been doing music videos for a while again now so it's not too surprising. Especially since Ten was released recently on Rock Band.

Yeah I think GP has summed it up well. Pale and vudu were the standouts as far as I'm concerned. Pale voting against me and leaving me to die when a tie vote was possible was a great move that I assume made the remaining townies trust him. To make it clear I'm throwing out a Vote Pale. But that's to be expected coming from a fellow mafioso. ;)

To echo the others (and my thoughts in the dead thread), GP you did a great job all around, especially with the times that days ended and began. Please future hosts continue this trend!

GP you get top marks for starting each day within hours of the end of the day before it. Being an Aussie this is the difference between an afternoon start of day and a 3am start. Everyone should continue to follow this pattern.

Vote Maxi

Why did I vote for you vudu? Mainly because I thought you were flying under the radar with your "I'm gonna be away for a few days routine."

I sent this to Stratos:
Stratos reading Rab's misdirected message again I'm a little confused. Why would he have wanted to send it to Khush? If he was mafia he'd know the people in his mafia, which Khush wasn't.

I have a feeling that Rab is (soon to be was) the bomber or even worse a plain townie pretending to be the bomber for survival. If I were you I wouldn't jump on this bandwagon!

It's probably too late to stop it either, it'll look like a mafia save. Hopefully some mafia have voted for him and he's the bomb"

Clearly this shows that I thought the Rab vote was a mistake. Also why I didn't join the bandwagon. You guys are making a big mistake. Now I think that the Maxi vote is also a mistake as he's probably townie. But I know that I'm townie so I'll take a chance.

I dl'ed it and started playing. Very addictive but I found I had to keep referring to the walkthrough every two seconds because of the sheer range of features. For some reason the tutorial level wouldn't load and I have a bad feeling i situated my fortress in a bad spot.

As mentioned by oohhboy the resemblance to Dungeon Keeper is the coolest thing. I miss DK so much!

Maxi has a pretty compelling argument about why RAB is probably mafia.  If you're townie, if would be a good idea to vote along with us.  If it turns out that RAB is innocent, then we can look back at Maxi and figure out what went wrong.

In other words tomorrow we vote Maxi ;)

And so the Khush flavoured spice is removed from yet another game too early, too, too early.
