Definitely understood, I don't blame anyone for not predicting this.

202
I'm with you oohhboy, I didn't realize everything went through USD like that. Pretty terrible.

203
I love reading threads like this where lots of people turn out to be wrong. (Not that I would have done any better if I'd made a prediction before today.)

204
Why is the value of the USD important when converting a Japanese price to an Australian/European/whatever price?

It just got Mad Men so I'm about to be all over that.

It's Black Widow, and I don't think she's getting her own film, she was in Iron-Man 2.

Yeah I thought Spider-Man 2 was great. But I never read the comics or watched the cartoons.

I'm inclined to believe that if Sam Raimi can't make a good Spider-Man film, then no one can. :P

But he can, he made two of them.

Curb Season 6 is probably my favorite season, solely because of Leon. As for Cheryl, well, you have to have some sort of "straight man".

When the question was asked about favorite easter eggs in games, I IMMEDIATELY thought of the Rebel Assault II thing, so I was thrilled to hear James bring that up right away. But he failed to mention the most amazing aspect of that easter egg - the fact that, in addition to the satirical dialogue, there were three Mystery Science Theater 3000-style silhouettes of Darth Vader, C3PO and R2D2 sitting at the bottom of the screen, ostensibly providing the fake dialogue! Still the most epic easter egg I've ever seen. The whole thing is up on YouTube, this is the first part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNEUU2Yeo2M

I've always liked Jason Segal, so I was pretty disappointed to see that his hit show was so devoid of laughs.

I have watched about 15 minutes of this show and it was completely unbearable.

X-Files

I know there are a few of you that have watched this show religiously at some point. I'm already into Season 4 and enjoying it, but why do they put the tape "X" on the window? I think I missed that detail somewhere in the earlier season when it was explained.
It's a signal for Mulder's contact(s) to pay him a visit. It's discreet enough to not draw attention to those out of the loop... or so they think and hope. Think of it like the Bat signal.

Yeah. It's actually much more like the flowerpot that Bob Woodward would place on his porch to signal Mark Felt (the real Deep Throat) to meet with him.

HA! I still can't believe "No" is the default option. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally selected it.

Abe: are you saying that the Master Quest port doesn't have the graphical upgrades of the original version?

That is nuts.  That greatly reduces it's value.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case.

I'm a lot more interested in actual questions being asked by actual consumers, not fake questions being made up by Forbes to represent what they think actual consumers may say.

It will probably be confusing for some for a short time, but I'm not convinced that this is going to cause a long-term problem with long-term effects.

Many people think it's a controller for the Wii, not a new console.

Really? I haven't heard anyone make this mistake. Evidence?

Maybe Sega is working on Crazy Ambulance for the system.

Regardless of whether you like the name or not, Nintendo is keeping it, so the sooner you can get used to it (just like you did with the Wii), the better for your mental well-being. What good could come out of whining about the name for weeks and weeks?

All the Wiimote lawsuits of controllers being launched from kids hands. Some of those are fighting based.

Which ones? Regardless, the Wiimote lawsuits were based on the wrist straps not being strong enough. That doesn't apply to the uPad. Kids fight over jillions of toys, all day every day, and I have never heard of a lawsuit resulting from it.

Nintendo may even face lawsuits from people getting hurt fighting for control over it.
At the risk of sounding like a jerk, this is complete fucking nonsense.
lol
Here in US of A that has a large likability of happening.  People don't want to take responsibilities for themselves and want a Pay Day but, mostly lawyers need something to do and Class Action are very lucrative to lawyers, no one else gets anything from it.

Please show me a precedent of a lawsuit against a company on the grounds that their product is so popular that kids fight over it.
