Thanks for the tip, Neal.  yeah, I think it's a hiccup.  I didn't create anything new, and what's weird is I still have the award unlocked for winning the Superbowl, but for the award regarding winning 2 Superbowls, it used to say 1/2 and now it says 0/2.  Also, the award for winning 50 games went from 30-something /50 to 6/50.  wtf.

Thanks, Neal.  Sorry if I sounded like an idiot there.  Madden 12 is the first time I actually did the Franchise mode.


In other news - I was just playing it and for some reason some of the progress of my Unlockables were reset.  I wonder if it is because I started keeping a 2nd controller on as co-op, even though no one is playing with me, but just to get the unlockables which require you to be playing co-op.  Anyone else experience this?

The game we have is called Disney Princess Enchanted Journey.  Here is a link for Amazon.  I have 2 girls ages 6 and 8 and they love it.  We've had it for about 2 years and they must have run through it 5 or 6 times.  The setup and mechanics sound like they will be very similar to this new game.

OK, so if I'm already in my 3rd season of my Franchise... to do the fantasy draft I'd have to start a whole new Franchise?  Or are you saying I can do it for my 4th season?  Does that make sense?

Hello All.  I need some help.  I'm in my 3rd season Franchise Mode in Madden 12.  One of the unlocks refers to completing a Fantasy Draft.  What is that?  Is it different from the regular draft you do in the offseason?  I've done that 2 times already, so I assume it's not the same thing.  Can someone help me out?

Hey, lame as this may look to most people on this site... My kids still love the crap out of this game.  They'd go bonkers if I picked this up.  However, Cai's description of this game almost sounds like the game we already have.  Hmmmm... I wonder if it's worth it.

I'm also really disappointed by this.  Playing virtual console games on the gamepad anywhere in my house was one of the features I was looking forward to.  When they talked about being able to play a game on the Gamepad while other people watch something on TV - I did NOT assume they only meant WiiU software.  Bummertown.

The other thing you'll notice after April 2nd is not all Gamestops will carry Gamecube games.  Stores that don't sell many games are going to be shipping their stock to stores that do.  As far as slashing the prices, we'll have to see.

I absolutely love Super Mario RPG.  I've played through it several times as well.  This was one of my great finds while Toys R Us was selling all of their SNES stock mad cheap back in the late 90's.  I picked a new copy for $15.  I also picked up sealed copies at a great price of All-Stars and the 3 Star Wars games.

Thanks for the impressions and video. Did you get  to check out the new pre/post/halftime shows and if so how did you like them?

One of the things I really appreciated about Madden 11 was that there was no halftime show.

thanks for the responses.  this news does make the replay value go way down for me.


and if anyone else has played this game, do you know how to keep your players between seasons?  i went through the off-season and somehow lost all of my players!

question about this game - this is the first madden game i've purchased in a long time.  i bought madden 11 because i figured it would have all of the features i wanted.  the feature i was most looking forward to was unlocking old teams (like the 1991 buffalo bills).  is that not part of madden 11 on wii?  thanks!

yes.  you can see it on the webpage.  it's the one you wrote, right, pedro?  however, something weird is happening with this feature.  the "add to the discussion" link on the webpage just brings you right back to the nwr homepage.  you have to go to the forums to add to the discussion.
