So I got Splatoon. Is anyone still playing this? Hoping to be on some this weekend breaking this game in.

Recently began playing again. Trying to max out the slots of my Splatfest tee for the final one later this month so I should be able to jump on this weekend.

I still have yet to try Squad battle. It's basically ranked with the teams locked in place, right?

Been slacking off for other games & stuff but I usually will show up the week of a Splatfest to unlock as many abilities of the t-shirt I can before getting in the Splatfest itself.

Rather have a Super Paper Mario 2 but this still looks like a maybe on the to buy list. Here's hoping Mr. L makes an appearance.

Reserved Tri-Force Heroes today. Was iffy on it but saw that one of the costumes was Super Sentai inspired so decided to give it a go.

Little Battlers Experience

The story is kinda boring for me since I've already seen the anime & it follows it exactly. But the gameplay is probably the closest thing I'll see to a Gotcha Force 2 so enjoying the heck out of that. Oh & the random encounter rate is so high that I don't even bother grinding against NPCs for battles unless I need some extra money & I'm beside a store.

Also pinball feels better as portable game anyways.

Well, I was a fan of Metroid Prime Pinball so hard to argue with you there.

Somehow never noticed that there was a WiiU version of Zen Pinball 2. But with no Steam sales it costs more to re-buy the tables I already own.

Rather collect & custom an LBX model here than start collecting the physical models. Here's hoping I'll come across someone that has the game.

I don't really care about taking sides. What i really like about Splatfest is that it locked people regionally so now i wasn't matched with people from the other side of the word.

This. Matches went a lot smoother with less player dropouts than ever. I didn't realize how good I was at this game until Splatfest. Now it's back to playing against seemingly unbeatable Japanese players that can swim in my ink.

Can also order gear in the town. If you got taken out a few times by the same guy that had some impressive gear, it might be worth leaving the lobby & finding his squidling to order a copy of what he had on. Apparently there's already a guide on the percentages of the random sub perks for the different brands of clothing.

I am imagining a brush with an entire team in tow, popping up and destroying an area.

Neat image, would never work without an organized team.

Seen two players on a team do something like that this morning. Kinda sucks when you're in the middle of a turf war, your team is down a player, & you're holding the zone with one guy while your 3rd member is respawning then suddenly two ink strikes bombard the zone at the same time.

Also at least one of those two liked to bunny hop around a lot making him not only harder to hit but increases his range a bit.

Karate Master 2: Knock Down Blow was on sale on Steam so finally grabbed that. Okay game though I swear the CPU purposely injures me whenever I'm close to winning a tournament. Even in tournaments where they say kicks to the head are forbidden, I've lost via a kick to the head.

Wonder if it's a region problem. Anyone else failing to connect hailing from the East coast?

Since it's on sale, I finally bit the bullet & upgraded to Ultra Street Fighter IV on Steam. It's still the game that made me a King of Fighters fan but at least I'm fairly good at using Poison.

I thought the roller was OP too for a few games especially when I did so well using it. The roller only seems OP when you let someone sneak up on you. Otherwise, just shoot/bomb them as soon as they're in range. Area coverage means little if you're constantly respawning.

As fun as the roller was for scoring kills, I felt like I contributed more using the guns. Often I would cover a flank of a roller on my team & take out nearby opponents just to keep him going across the field.

Still wish Goemon's Great Adventure was available just so I could get around that faulty memory pak constantly erasing my game so I can finally finish it.

Grabbed HuniePop while it was on sale on Steam. Not the biggest fan of dating sims but seeing how the dates are actually puzzle games, it's probably more like the real thing than the usual hentai games.
